What are the different options for subscriptions, prices, and what does each level get you?

Quiero contarles el plan que tengo para crear un búnker de suscripción en mi Xbox Series S de 1 TB durante el próximo Black Friday. Como me quedé sin trabajo por un tiempo, tengo que cuidar cada peso y necesito estar seguro de que estos pasos, ordenados como en el ejército, no fallen.
Ahora tengo un control nuevo GameSir G7 Pro. En la caja venía una tarjeta de regalo de 1 mes de Game Pass Ultimate. Tiene un asterisco que dice "Válido solo para miembros nuevos". Como ya usé el servicio antes con mi cuenta personal, pensé en una solución junto con mi hermana para evitar el bloqueo sin gastar dinero extra.

Cronograma y Configuración de Cuentas:
Paso 1 (Preparación en Amazon, Viernes 27 de Noviembre): Aprovecharé las ofertas de Black Friday. Comprar un código digital de 12 meses de Xbox Game Pass Core (Essential) en Amazon USA. Para evitar bloqueos de pago internacionales con mi tarjeta prepago local (Qik Visa), ya puse en mi cuenta de Amazon una dirección de facturación predeterminada de Florida con el código postal 33316. El banco procesará los ~$40 USD de la oferta sin problemas.

Paso 2 (La Cuenta Secundaria Virgen): Como mi perfil de siempre va a rechazar el código promocional de la caja del control, voy a crear un perfil de Xbox secundario totalmente nuevo y sin uso desde la consola. Al ser una cuenta nueva legítima, el sistema de Microsoft no pondrá los candados del asterisco.

Paso 3 (El Canje Regional en la Consola):
Voy a entrar a la configuración de la Xbox. Cambiaré la ubicación nativa de la consola a Estados Unidos y dejaré que se reinicie sola, sin usar VPN en la TV.
Voy a entrar a la cuenta nueva secundaria.
Voy a abrir la Microsoft Store. Iré a la sección de "Canjear" y usaré la app oficial de Xbox en mi iPhone como teclado remoto. Así podré copiar y pegar el código de 25 letras de Amazon sin errores al escribirlo. La cuenta nueva tendrá 12 meses de Core oficiales.
Sin cambiar la región de EE. UU., pondré en esa misma cuenta nueva las 25 letras del código de regalo de la caja de mi GameSir G7 Pro.

Paso 4 (La Conversión Automática 3:2): El sistema operativo de la Xbox mostrará el aviso oficial de Microsoft. Este aviso confirma que toda la suscripción se va a juntar bajo la tasa de conversión actual. Si aceptas, los 12 meses de Core y el mes de regalo se convertirán de forma automática en 8 meses oficiales de Xbox Game Pass Ultimate seguidos. Estos vencerán el 27 de julio de 2027.

Paso 5 (El Puente Familiar Satelital): Cuando la cuenta nueva ya tenga el Ultimate dorado activo, iré a los ajustes de perfil y escogeré la opción "Hacer esta mi Xbox principal". Después, volveré a poner la consola en mi región comercial de siempre, que es Chile.
Al cerrar la cuenta nueva y entrar a mi cuenta de siempre, el beneficio del Game Pass Ultimate se enviará a mi perfil personal. Podré jugar todo el catálogo completo en cooperativo en la sala con mi hermana. Usaré mi gamertag de siempre, mis amigos y mis partidas guardadas seguirán igual. Solo habré invertido los RD$ 2,450 (~$40 USD) de Amazon.

Mis preguntas para los expertos de Reddit:
¿El código de Amazon Core comercial estándar tiene alguna restricción para ser canjeado en perfiles nuevos? Creo que no, pero quiero confirmar.
¿Alguien ha tenido problemas recientes con la pasarela de Amazon al usar tarjetas Visa prepago del extranjero con dirección de facturación en Florida?
¿Me pueden confirmar si la tasa de conversión 3:2 todavía aplica exactamente 8 meses completos al agregar 1 mes de Ultimate sobre 12 de Core?

Je l'ai donc acheté, mais après l'achat on me dit d'acheter le game pass ?

Je trouve pas ça normal si ? Les jeux qu'on achète c'est pas comme si on avait le dvd ?

I am writing to file an official complaint regarding the complete failure of the Xbox Store licensing system and its customer service. On April 15, 2025, I digitally purchased Dead Space 1, 2, and 3. Recently, I subscribed to a basic Xbox Game Pass tier. Since then, the console blocks my personally owned games with an EA Play banner, demanding a subscription upgrade and throwing Error 0x803f8001.

Xbox Support confirmed that my personal digital licenses are active on the servers, but stated that support has no tools to sync them to my console. I was forced to waste hours performing factory resets, removing my profile, and dealing with regional website workarounds, yet the games still won't launch. Microsoft has restricted access to a product I legally paid for, and the system is unable to resolve its own internal software bug.

I am completely exhausted and done fighting for the games I legally bought. However, this terrible experience has made me seriously question whether I should ever purchase any games on the Xbox platform in the future.

I’ve been dying for some good melee-magic combat and combining that with my recently acquired unhealthy obsession with a certain 500 year old masked man (Capitano) I also want some form of ice magic

The types of games I prefer are real time combat like Yakuza or Avowed and I also enjoy 3rd person camera placement over 1st but it really doesn’t matter when it comes down to it. Also story is negligible, I don’t really care for a good story just gameplay

Here are the games leaving at the end of the month.

Interesting to see the Day of the Tentacles and Full Throttle leaving (might be related to Double Fine is no longer owned by Microsoft). Will play both if I have the time.

I have both Japanese and USA gift cards from the Microsoft Rewards.

RN the USA store has a sales for the DLCs but it has (english), does that mean it’s region locked to USA? because the japanese has no in parentheses but it’s not on sale.

I finished the Zelda's (Bot +Totk) - and somehow rarely find another game that gives me that same feeling or pulls me in in that way as the Fable games did and still do, eagerly have been awaiting a new game, even bought a new xbox in 2020 because "it was coming"... Then got a nintendo because a lot of people were recommending Zelda and they were right to do so, now also in my top tier...

So many other games i tried, and they just seem to not really pull me in, Mario Odyssee is an exception as well as Dragon Quest and some totally different games like Spirit Farer, or Twopoint / Tycoon / Build games -

Is it me or is Fable really that special or different?

I want to say before I start, I am NOT looking for support on this just wanted to give my thoughts and start a discussion. My game pass is completely fine!

I was just looking at buying the premium gamepass cause it had a game i wanted to play on it.
I looked at the price of the gamepass and saw that it was showing 14 days and then automatically renews for monthly payment instead. Except the 14 days is the same price as the monthly price, making it twice the price?
There is an option to just start out on a monthly payment, but the 14 day payment is automatically selected, making it more likely that people might just rush through and pay the same amount of money for less time with game pass?!
I understand that they do special offers on the 14 days, but if those offers aren't active i would've thought it would be around/exactly half the price of a month since you're only getting half the play time.
Just a bit weird, thought I would see if anyone has any thoughts on this.

so me and my brother just hit 5000 subscribers on youtube and we decided to do a challange against each other.. who can get the most mythics (100%) on gamepass games within 30 days on a new account .. the challange starts tomorrow and im looking for easy suggestions so i can start downloading them

I finally got a proper gaming PC and bought Claire Obscure on steam to play without stream lag and went to game pass to launch Claire Obscure to grab my 40h save file just to find it was removed from game pass 3 days ago? Talk about lucky.

Does anyone have any experience with navigating this? 40h is a solid save file but there doesn't seem to be a way to launch the game for 5min to get my save without buying the game for a second time at full price ($49.99).

I was thinking about buying it, grabbing the save, and then refunding the game but it seems like Microsoft would look at the 40h and say lol no. Has anyone tried that? It seems odd to me that long time consumers of game pass just brick themselves out of refunds. What if the game was removed and I wanted to try and play it locally but my machine wasn't good enough so I need to refund?

Any advice would be great

I like games like Pragmata, animal crossing, Zelda, spider-man 2, Kena. Just any game that's fun and not repetitive or too dark and easy to get into, like the once mentioned above. (First person games, like Minecraft make me dizzy, although ego shooters like cod don't somehow).

So the game is no longer available on cloud, it's a shame, it's a great game, couldn't finish it, anyway if you could recommend games that have the same style.

I got 3 months of Xbox Game Pass for free along with my laptop, but there's a problem: it asks for a credit or debit card, and I don't have either. Is there any other way to get it?

I was thinking about this and the restrictions that Microsoft is going to put on cloud gaming. My use case is basically cloud gaming I do have an Xbox series x but I don't actually game a lot on it I do lots of streaming I'm here in the United States

. My thought process is that if I get the $10 pro tier then I get 100 hours a month. I don't go through that much in the month but I know I go more than 17 hours a month. And paying $10 extra on top of ultimate seems to be the better deal depending on what they do for overages above the 17 hours a month. Has anybody else thought about that? TIA

Does anyone know when the next batch of games leaving Xbox Game Pass will be announced? I’m looking for the games leaving at the end of October 2026.
