Announcement Minor update WristGrid 1.3.1 and GW Bridge 1.1.3 are out: upgrade to Lifetime anytime, steadier sync
Hi everyone, Ferran here.
Thanks a lot for all the feedback after last week's post. Here's what's new.
WristGrid 1.3.1 (iPhone)
https://apps.apple.com/app/id6789644151
- Upgrade to Lifetime whenever you like. Started with the Monthly plan or the free trial? You can now go Lifetime straight from Settings > My Subscription, and WristGrid walks you through it so your Monthly plan stops renewing.
- Steadier watch sync. WristGrid reconnects to your watch after iOS restarts it in the background, and a new "Reconnect watch" button in How it works gets a stuck link going again.
- Optional watch data alerts. Off by default. Turn them on in Settings and you'll get one heads-up if your watch stops sending data for a while.
- Clearer help. The setup now names the exact messages your watch shows.
GW Bridge 1.1.3 (watch)
https://apps.garmin.com/apps/05aaf031-6136-4406-bc29-4353f77c8336
- When your iPhone doesn't confirm a send, the watch now shows "Sent, not confirmed" instead of "iPhone not responding". Your data has usually arrived anyway, so just open WristGrid on your iPhone to check.
- New watches: Approach S72 (43 and 47 mm) and Enduro 4. That's 115 Garmin models in total.
Both update on their own. To get them now: App Store > WristGrid > Update, and Connect IQ app on your iPhone > your watch > GW Bridge > Update.
If your watch doesn't sync
Restart the watch and turn Bluetooth off and on on the iPhone.
Open WristGrid, go to the Device screen and tap the sync button at the top right.
On the watch, open GW Bridge and press START.
Still stuck? Email [hello@gurfus.dev](mailto:hello@gurfus.dev) with your watch model and a screenshot of the Device screen, and I'll help you personally.
