I haven't seen any new Worm Isekei fics in a while. Any I've missed? Preferably played straight with canon knowledge and no weird memory problems. CYOA OK but preferably less OP. "Going Native" level would be perfect.

A well written fic with a palatable MC (not evil or unhinged or stupid) that takes the perk that destroys the Endbringers and the Entites as soon as he/she wakes up in Earth Bet.

You remember Fortress Construction? Coil's shell company that he built his base with? Doesn't exist. Not a mention of the name in canon. I'm not sure where it came from originally, but it's weird to see things like that become such an accepted part of fanon like that. Any of your personal favourite (or least favourite) fanon things that feel like canon you'd be willing to share?

I cannot for the life of me find this one fic where the main character was an si and he had filled a worm cyoa template and his power seemed to either be copying or stealing other capes power. The other unique elements was he had fan service which made him very attractive, he started dating someone there and he would go on a rant about capitalism/communism. Think it was on spacebattles.

So, I understand that Scion and Eden are made up of thousands of fragments, and they release those fragments into humans, granting them their powers. This is because each fragment has a specific function—kind of like a colonial organism.

The thing is, in several fanfics, I’ve seen the powers referred to as technology or physical aspects of reality that humanity simply hasn’t discovered yet. That, in reality, each fragment is a “power” that the host species of the previous cycle discovered on its own, and the entities took advantage of that to replicate it and integrate it into the next cycle—that’s what I understood

For example, let’s say that the host species from the cycle preceding humans invented a technology based on certain physical principles that allowed it to create a shadow capable of impairing various senses, such as sight, smell, etc. The entities saw Grue’s power, copied it, and decided to incorporate it into the next cycle

The same goes for the Tinkers, except that they are given the knowledge to create that technology rather than simply replicating its effects.

That’s what I understood—correct me if I’m wrong.

We all know about alternate-power fanfics—it’s almost always Taylor who gets the alternate power, but… what about other characters?

There are millions of fanfics where Taylor is a Warhammer Primarch, controls the Tyranid fleet, has the Omnitrix or a power ring, etc. But, again, I haven’t come across many crossover fanfics where the powers go to another character…

I don’t know, I want to read a story where Jack Slash is chosen by the Indigo Lantern Corps, where Grue teams up with a Klyntar symbiote, where Alexandria teams up with the Absolute Martian Manhunter, and so on.

So, do you know of any fanfics where the crossover element is paired with a character other than Taylor?

I was looking at Reddit once and saw an fic where Taylor got some sort of general in her head from Star wars. Can't remember who it is exactly but I think the name (of the general) starts with the letter T

I'm thinking of writing something and it would be nice to have some specific knowledge. Namely timeline between Taylor trigger and start of canon, general population numbers for Brocton Bay and surroundings and where exactly is it - I'm not from USA so it's not instinctual.

I'm always thinking about that part in Worm where Taylor gets mad about how useful Amy's power would be if only she had it. So I'm interested in fics where she has Panacea's powers and uses them in unique ways. Bonus points if Amy is there with Skitter's powers and she totally sucks at it

Are there any other good stories like "Tertiary" by Visual Pun or "A Show of Force" by UnwelcomeStorm where the Trio start to get a taste of their own medicine?

Something like Cyclone 's "Tinker Taylor Cyberspy" qlso works where the Trio get exposed, then suddenly find themselves in Taylor's place at school.

Sadly all three of those mentioned stories are incomplete and abandoned for years back in B.C.

Oh, almost forgot that Madison gets a taste of what it was like to be in Taylor's place before her redemption in "The Weaver's Web" by Fabius Maximus

As in the title, I remember reading a fic like this. The PRT is rounding up capes with robots. Taylor and Sophia run away from them after a search in Winslow is conducted and Sophia ditches Taylor right after. Other parts I remember is that the S9 are good people here and Taylor is actively acknowledged that she’s got QA and is given command of a team of capes all recently rescued from Brockton Bay.

Looking for fics where Taylor’s thing as a cape is a ’batman’ approach, with a focus on a varied gear, and preparation against her opponents. It’s kind of the vibe i got from The Weaver’s Web
