Has anyone tried putting a small hole on their desk for wired keyboards?

I am thinking of drilling a hole on the X mark for cleaner look.

I went to a park with a beach chair, a 5mm wooden board on top of the armrest. It is quite comfortable although it should raise the laptop. The mouse works without a mouse pad

Has anyone in Mumbai or elsewhere in India built their own compact, soundproof work pod at home or rented a tiny private cabin (around 5×5 ft) for personal use?
I need a small, private space for working and making calls. Commercial pods cost around ₹1 lakh, which is way out of my budget. I’m looking to DIY one for under ₹10,000 or find a tiny cabin to rent.
Would appreciate any suggestions or experiences.

I keep seeing setups with the desk pushed up against a wall. Makes sense for cables, but I've always wondered if facing into the room would feel better.

Anyone here tried both? Which one did you end up sticking with?

Just curious, what little things have made your desk more comfortable or easier to use?

For me, it’s cable ties and a phone stand. My desk feels like a mess without them 😂 what about you?

This is kind of a weird and specific question, but I was wanting a chair-mounted desk attachment, kind of like what Flexispot chairs use (the CD1 to be exact) for my Steelcase leap v2. It does look like it might be able to fit on the armrest of it but I have several doubts about it, and before I made the choice to buy one, I wanted to ask if anyone else had one they recommended. I looked at a couple others online like the Vivo one that gripped it to the gas cylinder and a couple others that looked iffy, but if anyone else bought something like this or has used a similar solution and likes it, let me know!

Hey everyone! This is my current workspace. I like the warm, cozy vibe, but I feel like the wall above my desk is missing something.
I’m thinking of putting up a poster or some artwork, but I’m not sure what would suit the space.
What would you suggest? Minimalist art, an architectural print, a design-inspired poster, or something else entirely?
I’d also love any suggestions to improve the overall setup. Open to ideas! :)
