I'm personally going to see The gig on at The Marrs Bar on Sunday 25th as I've seen all 3 original bands before & 2 of them started out at jam nights!

So if you like Indie/ Alt Rock and like a bargain of 3 bands for a tenner ( plus its an extra hour in bed, half term week & the doors open earlier at 7.30pm & the gig finishes earlier ) it's a no brainer to go support grassroots music in our premier grassroots venue

Hope to see some new faces!! Oh & they're apparently inviting people to turn up wearing Halloween costumes 😁

Being fairly new to Reddit & exploring its communities, I am surprised, or maybe I'm not, at the serious lack of mentioning anything to do with the live music that happens in our city on a weekly basis. Especially there's a noticible lack of the under 40s attending any live music happening here.

I see the same regular faces supporting the scene week in , week out. Excellent visiting artists suffer poor ticket sales or cancellations, yet have sell outs in the surrounding areas.

Are Worcester people killing off their own live music scene & why?

We embarrassingly don't even have a rehearsal space anymore!

Hi - I am looking for some medal holder display pieces to be 3d printed (similar to the ones pictured - but happy with a circle/square or rectangle) with associated hooks for them to be hung on a brick wall. I’m not looking for fancy colours etc.

4 of the medals are 15cm circles.

The other 5 all have slightly different sizes as below;

1 - 16cm High x 13.5cm width
1 - 16cm High x 14.5cm width
1 - 17.5cm High x 15.5cm width
1 - 17cm High x 12.5cm width
1 - 34.5cm width x 8cm high (it’s a lightening bolt so it’s more long and thin)

Is there any local hobbyist who could help with this? Happy to pay for materials and time.

I started filming and posting videos on YouTube as a hobby, mainly around self-improvement, journaling and everyday life. I’m still fairly new to it, but I’ve really been getting into it and seeing where it might take me (this is something very far removed from my career btw)

I’m wondering, are there any other people around Worcester doing something similar, making YouTube videos, filming content for social media or just getting into videography in general?

Does anyone know if there’s already a local group or community for people doing this sort of thing? I have no idea where to even start looking

If not…would anyone be interested in starting something informal? Just somewhere to swap ideas, share what we’re learning, moan about editing and even celebrate some wins… I dunno is this even a thing on a local scale?

Hi all. I'm moving to Worcester in just over a week and would love to hear your recommendation for places to get food and go for a drink!

I’ve just moved and my commute to work includes this road so I don’t want to continue getting it wrong if I am as I get cut up and pushed out of what I thought was my lane every day here so I’m starting to think I must be the problem but I can’t tell by looking at the road markings.

From Croft Road to Dolday there are 2 lanes that turn into 4 lanes. I assumed the left lane fed the left two lanes and the right lane feeds the right two lanes. I usually drive from the right lane to the third lane across, and almost always get pushed out by people coming from the left lane.

On the picture I’ve drawn what I’ve been doing in pink and what everyone else seems to do in blue. Am I wrong? I’m starting to think I am because the floor markings on the left lane say east & west but the left two lanes out of the four are only east.

Hi! Recently moved back to Worcester and desperately need a haircut! I have a very grown out wolfcut and would be looking for someone who does a good cut of this type :)

It's been literally WEEKS and we've not had any post or even seen any kind of postie.

My wife placed an order with a UK company that ships Stamps first class over 2 weeks ago and we've not even seen that yet!

The service is becoming an utter joke currently, hell I'm even starting to miss junk mail at this point 😂🙈.

Why has the government not stepped in yet and reclaimed control back, it clearly isn't working as a private company anymore and will eventually fizzle out as people lose trust (and not be able to afford the insane price increases).

Is anyone even digging into this? Doesn't really feel like it. I dread to think if anyone's "priority/tracked" post is even getting where it needs to be.

I'd like to print these scaling guides I've circled first so I can make sure the helmet itself is scaled correctly beforehand - as the helmet itself is 261mm x 329mm x 287mm and i'm sure it can be shrinked down a bit. Potentially it could be split too, to reduce print times.

I'm eager to do it locally as the scaling guides could potentially need a few attempts.

Would there be any hobbyists with a 3D printer just sitting in their garage fancy giving this a go with me?
