Im looking to get German versions of machine games made games for sake of curiosity and maybe achievements on steam. I live in EU, but not in Germany, are there any ways i can buy games, or keys for them and they will activate?

Like theres no indicator of if the enemy can see you or not, and to me a system more like far crys stealth would be a big upgrade from the system we have now, were instead of the enemy immediately shooting the moment they catch a whiff of you it would take a sec for them to see you, would be a big upgrade from the system we have now.

About to start the last achievement. I had some questions, though. Should I plan on running it again on IADI difficulty to try and map out enemy pathing and routes? What specific YT guides helped some of you net this achievement?

I remember trying this only once before, and I got all the way to the subterranean metro. While I was trying to cheese the elevator lift to negate the two uber soldaten, my ass fell off a ledge. It sucked, but its to be expected on the first run lol.

I know of two commonly known friction points. One being the court room, and the Ausmerzer 2 deck with the Uber pods. What others did yall come across that can be lethal if you fuck it up?

I am NOT looking forward to these inevitable cutscenes..

I picked up the whole collection a while ago on a steam sale. Played through New Order, Old Blood and now I'm trying my best to go through New Colossus - problem is (as I've heard happens a lot) it's crashing repeatedly in various ways.

I've tried everything I could find on the web - turned off every setting that was told of me (changing AA, etc) and all sorts of other things - but can't get the game to not crash on Manhatten: Ruins District (I think) where the huge mech is just introduced.

I really wanna play this game but if there's no solution I'll just have to just give up and not to, which is a bummer since I wanted to play it since I started New Order...

Any help anyone can give me would be so appreciated <3

Hello everyone, this is a side project that I have been working on for a couple of months. I am a huge wolfenstein and doom fan, and wanted to make one of the originals myself! You can play it by cloning https://github.com/atifcodesalot/pyWolf3D and following the instructions on README.md. It currently only supports Episode 1 (the shareware version), but I plan on implementing every other episode, including Spear of Destiny. I actually got the map files by running the shareware version of the game in DOSbox, the repo even has teh original readme file of the shareware version!

Now, I want to say that this clone is very similar to the original in terms of rendering: it truly uses raycasting unlike other later openGL implementations. It was truly a different experience writing something that is so familiar, because I thought it was familiar but it is not really what it seems... Did you know that it is possible to do 0 damage even if you sucessfully hit an NPC? Yes, the damage you do is random (not entirely but ultimately it is). You can even miss if you aim right if the NPC is further away. Also, the NPC's don't have path finding, and they can just give up while trying to search you, if every direction they try to go is blocked. The sound propagation is very smartly done as well, any door you open connects areas that are preprocessed, and when you shoot every actor gets alerted in the areas that are connected to you. Also did I mention that every map is just a 64 x 64 grid and gets constructed on the fly everytime you begin an episode? Ok, sorry for nerding out; all in all it was a very fun experience I wanted to share with the community. The roots of this franchise seems very humble today, but for its time, and even for today, it is a technological wonder. Carmack was truly a genius. Also I might also rewrite DOOM in the future :D enjoy!

Here we have the concept art for the final level of Wolfenstein: The Old Blood. As you can see, it's not very different from what we ended up seeing in the game. In fact, the game's director, Jens Matthies, imagined that the last level in the medieval catacombs should feel like stepping right into an Indiana Jones movie where the SS is sticking their noses where they really shouldn't be. What the design team really wanted was for players to feel, the further they progressed through the story and the level, that they shouldn't be there at all like with every step forward, they were getting closer to the devil himself. It's the kind of thing where only the SS would be crazy enough to poke around in something so macabre and terrifying, just like in the Indiana Jones movies, where Hitler and Himmler's obsession with the dark arts and the occult leads their agents to the most horrific and gruesome deaths for playing with forces they shouldn't be messing with.

Playing the New Colossal and its gonna be the last one, already played youngblood and now I'm looking for more similar games. Played all the CODs and most of BFs and other popular FPS. Recommend something like this that is a hidden gem. Thanks

While not being a FPS this game this game is enjoyable (aside from some technical issues) and I find it interesting how it reminded me of the recent Wolfenstein entries, especially The New Order. From the portrayal of the nazis, weird vehicle and weapons designs and even the loading screens with a similar style. I'm wondering if MachineGames took inspirations from this game. Also, this came out in the same year of Wolfenstein 2009.

Change my mind!!!

I know the new one can 1 shot an enemy by vaporizing em to ashes and melt through steel walls, but the old one has good upgrades like like the Targeting Scope can do tracking, targeting and firing at several enemies simultaneously. Using the targeting scope depletes the LaserKraftWerk's battery power. But in a fully-charged shot with the scope can destroy a Super Soldier, but will cost an entire battery. I don't know maybe it's because I like the firing sound it makes

Does someone have a backup of the missing tracks of the game, like New Orleans Riot or the We're Not Gonna Take It cover? The unreleased tracks were on YouTube, but the channel that uploaded was blasted to kingdom come by the evil Susan Wetwinky!
