Off-Topic This may be a long shot but if you were at the no frills on Howard and you gave me a compliment- please read 😅

Hi! I am the cashier you complimented- you said I was really pretty and my brain kind of short circuited and I didn’t know what to say, so I just kind of said thank you awkwardly. There was a line up behind you and I was kind of fumbling my words and I really wanted to say it back, and you had really pretty freckles. Please comment or DM me because I’d really like to talk to you more, I kind of wanted to run outside after you lol. I don’t even know if you’d be on here but I wanna take a chance 🤣

Ask Windsor Augustus 27 Wedding Venue – Pricing, Guest Count & Real Wedding Experiences?

I’m looking into Augustus 27 as a potential wedding venue and would love to hear from anyone who has gotten married there, attended a wedding there, or recently inquired about booking!

I’m trying to get a better idea of the overall cost and what the experience is actually like, beyond what’s shown on their website or social media.

If you’re comfortable sharing, I’d love to know:

  • Guest count: How many guests did you have, and did the venue feel spacious or crowded?
  • Venue pricing: What was the approximate cost? Was it a venue rental fee, a per-person package, or a combination of both?
  • What was included? Tables, chairs, linens, dinnerware, setup/teardown, décor, coordination, staffing, etc.
  • Cocktail hour: Where was it held? Was there a separate space from the reception, and did guests enjoy the flow between the two?
  • Food and bar: Did you use their catering/bar services? What were the costs like, and were you happy with the quality and options?
  • Ceremony location: Did you get married on-site? If so, where was the ceremony held, and was there a separate fee?
  • Overall budget: What did the venue and food/bar end up costing in total, if you’re comfortable sharing?
  • Additional fees: Were there any unexpected charges, minimum spend requirements, or restrictions?
  • Your overall experience: How was the staff, planning process, and day-of coordination? Is there anything you wish you had known beforehand?

I know pricing can vary depending on the date, guest count, and package, so even rough estimates would be incredibly helpful!

Thank you so much! 🥂💍

Ask Windsor PO Box/Mailbox Options

Hi, I'm in the US and enjoy collecting anime goods from Japan. Long story short, I'm pretty sure it's more economical for me to get an address in Windsor and have packages shipped there compared to shipping them directly to me. Due to our tariff/customs situation, the cheaper shipping options aren't available but they are available to Canada. Right now the UPS store on Huron Church & Totten seems to be the best bet in terms of hours/access, but I was wondering if anyone has other suggestions in the area. The Packaging Depot has more limited hours but the rental fee is so much lower.

Talk Windsor Celebs Coming to WIFF for Sydney vs Sean Premiere

I'm a Windsor born filmmaker and this is a film I directed starring Janel Parrish (Pretty Little Liars, Dancing With The Stars) and T.R. Knight (Grey's Anatomy). We've chosen to do our world premiere right here at home as part of WIFF - November 5th | 5:40PM.

Cast and crew will be in attendance and around the festival that day as well as appearing for a Q&A after the screening. Would love to see you come out and support our indie film and happy to be taking part in what I can attest to being one of the best film festivals out there.

Talk Windsor WIFF Promotes Harder Than Most Film Festivals

The Windsor International Film Festival has an excellent way of promoting some of the films playing each year. I was lucky enough to have my film SYDNEY VS SEAN be part of this poster and QR promo that they offer.

I've travelled to film festivals all over North America and internationally and I have to say that what we have right here at home is truly awesome.

SYDNEY VS SEAN stars:
JANEL PARRISH (Pretty Little Liars, "To All The Boys" Trilogy)
RYAN POWERS (She-Hulk, The Mandalorian)
T.R. KNIGHT (Grey's Anatomy, The Flight Attendant)
ARDEN MYRIN (The Righteous Gemstones, Shameless)

Premiering November 5th at the Windsor International Film Festival

Ask Windsor Trans people in windsor, do any of you know any voice coaching or training resources?

I've been wanting to transition my voice for a while but I struggle with online resources and also just prefer doing something like this in person where I have a much easier chance of not being found out by my family, and wanted to know if there's any classes or coaching in windsor? I've asked around to some people but they didn't have anything so im a bit at a loss.

Recommendations Maranatha School - Tuition and Opinion

Hello

I asked the Maranatha school admissions for the tuition amount but the question was dodged and instead I was invited for a school tour.

Does anyone know the tuition amount and/or what is your opinion of the school in 2026?

Thanks in advance.

Any recommendations for prenatal massage spots that accepts direct billing? I have my employer’s insurance, which I’d like to use it. And very confused if it is safe for massage at 13weeks pregnant? BTW, it is for my wife. TIA.

Talk Windsor People in Windsor are really, REALLY friendly

I’ve lived across 8 Canadian cities/now 4 provinces over the last 15 years and came to Windsor earlier this year, for context.

I still can’t get over how friendly they are here. TBH I am still almost shocked every time I visit my closest Italian deli and random neighbours invite me over. People smiling and asking how your day is? I know Windsor isn’t perfect but I do think it’s fair to give credit when credit is due, it’s been the friendliest place so far IMO.

(I get that some won’t agree, especially on Reddit, that’s ok too!)

Looking to feed 8-12 next week

bonus for "they're also a great small business story"

ideally they offer half and half options, and a veg option

Hi all-
So my daughter is in the early grades and really struggling with things like printing and reading. We work with her at home and have been working with her teacher as well who really has been great. I’ve found, though, thatI’m not teacher material and I want to get her some extra help. Anyone use any of the services above and have anything to say, either good or bad about them? Also any idea re:the cost of attending?
