I get the feeling that the board want to go in another direction, particularly with their recent move into women's football. The core of their business is the club and pokies. They don't seem to be interested in winning another NRL premiership.

Why couldn't they give the team back to the members, the people that support the team week in week out. I did a rough estimate of the numbers and its possible for a members run club to be self sustainable without pokies or a business propping them up

I just get the impression the board are just a bunch of dinosaurs trying to stroke their own ego and are putting the team second. In the meantime we are stuck with a mediocre organisation who just keeping on failing. Why should I waste another $300 on a Tigers membership for the same fucking shit. Its rinse and repeat with this team.

After the talks about protesting, being on the news, board changes and sackings.. nothing has changed. Thankfully my son supports a different team as I would hate for him to endure a lifetime was incompetence.

why are you so against letting Wests Tigers proliferate into Campbelltown, always such angst from the inner west about this club. Balmain hasn't been working class since the 80s.

The redevelopment at Leichardt is ludicrous, and should have always been an upgrade to Campbelltown stadium.

Awesome to see the turnaround in the Knights in just one year and starting strong today against Auckland. However, why is that every team can get off the canvas except for the tigers? I have zero doubts that the Dragons will finish above Wests next year. Why are the tigers so cursed?

Obviously following the action closely from Melbourne....

So I got my renewal email the other day.
$675 for gold membership which is $50 less than last year due to no Leichhardt.
If I was a new member looking at a gold membership it would be $799, which I think is stupidly expensive.
I have a friend who is a Panthers member & is renewing his equivalent membership and that is $600.
How can Tigers think that such a high price is acceptable?

Friday night, no NRL happening, Wests Tigers NRLW side playing a final against the Raiders! Let's get behind them and get down to Campbelltown. The men's side served up dogshit all year, let's get with the strength - Wests Tigers NRLW!

don’t want him anywhere near the Tigers. His record at the Dragons was awful yet apparently we’re all supposed to pretend he’s suddenly some massive get?

Do they think everyone is an idiot? It’s so obviously Moses pushing his client through the media. Every second article is Flanagan this, Flanagan that. Give it a rest.

He won a premiership 10 years ago. Cool. What has he actually done recently to warrant this carry on?

Please just find someone who suits the young roster we’re building and stop recycling the same bloody coaches.

Was reflecting today on the season, and our lack of depth with injuries. One thing that stood out was not many fringe players cemented themselves as genuine starters in our best 17 next year. There were plenty of chances for some players to really become household names.Off the top of my head: Roberts, Madden, Tavana had glimpses and Saukuru at the end all showed they can play in the 17, but, even they may not get a run round 1 if we are full strength, plus signings.
I am sure I am forgetting some or missed a glaring one, and happy to have someone change my mind. What are your thoughts? Some of your opinions are probably a lot more qualified then mine.

With Luai set to play his last game for the club this week, what would you rate his time at the club here? Taking both onfield and off field into account.

With Luai out the door, and some new faces coming in how would you line up the tigers for next year?

What does everyone rate our chances against the panthers this weekend. Do you think they’ll be looking to rest some players before the finals and we’ll have a chance of an upset for our last game of the season.

Leading the Dogs 18-4 at halftime and finals bound.

Full time 44–14 Tigers biggest NRLW win.

I personally think we were robbed, man this sucks…

But man it’s hard watching the Tigers get buried by it so often.

Raecene McGregor kicks Wests Tigers to vital win

The experience and leadership of Wests Tigers half-back Raecene McGregor saw her snatch a 27-26 victory over the Newcastle Knights in Round 8 of the Telstra Women's Premiership today.
McGregor, the Kiwi Test half-back, landed a 15 metre field goal two minutes from full-time to give the Tigers victory at McDonald Jones Stadium after the Knights fought back from a 26-6 deficit after 38 minutes.

The Tigers dominated the first half to race in four tries in 20 minutes to lead 20-6 at the break before the Knights rallied strongly to almost claim victory until McGregor's match-winning field goal.
It was Wests Tigers' sixth win of the season and leaves them in third place with three rounds remaining before the finals.
