Swift success…hopefully

Photos are 2025 vs today. I’ve been battling this stupid verruca cluster most of my adult life (easily 35 years) and nothing really touched it. Other smaller ones I’ve had have cleared up with nail polish, freezing etc. I still have a small amount of the smaller/lower one under the bigger one to go (will get back to freezing it in a couple of weeks) but the big one is looking markedly improved. I had 8 Swift treatments and then a few months off.

I’d definitely give Swift a go if you’re in a similar position to me and living with these stupid warts for a long time. It is expensive, but I maintained throughout the treatment that if it goes away then the cost was worth it. Fingers crossed the podiatrist gives me the all clear when I go back in a couple of weeks.

I think I had a blister that was under my wart so when I poked it and try to remove the dead skin the blister popped and this yellow goo came out, but have I removed most of the warts now that I don't see anything?

I am wondering how I should treat these warts at home, Ive asked Gemini about treating warts near the nails and Ive found that Salicylic acid was not recommended for this treatment, please if anyone can recommend treatment for treating these it would be highly appreciated, for the record I do not want my nail to get cauterised and I hate needles as well, thank you🙏

Keep attacking with SA or give it a rest?

After treating with SA for about a month, last night I filed down my wart, and it started to bleed. It’s my first wart so I’m new to treating them. I didn’t put SA on yesterday because I didn’t think I could bare the pain of putting it on raw skin. It doesn’t seem quite as raw as last night. Should I continue or give it a break? Can anyone please let me know how far away I am from the end? It was about 2mm to start with.

Two treatments of cantharidin later (third pic is post second application) and there’s zero pain and the skin is completely flat. Can’t help thinking the second one still looks kind of suspicious still, but it could be normal healing. How paranoid am I being?

I think I’m ready to give up

I’m at the two year anniversary of treating a common wart on my thumb and it seems like nothing is working. Salicylic, freezing, imiquimod, I’ve seen five different providers for this already and I’m still doing this shit every few weeks. I’ve started doing the Candida with my current one but still looks the same after one shot. She also has me applying fluorouracil nightly but it has not responded at all. I’ve gotten to the point where I’m thinking it would be preferable to accept that this is forever. I have to move on with my life. I’ve been looking for a job in a new area and this has gotten in the way of it considering nobody’s gonna want to hire me if I tell them “by the way I need to take a day off every three weeks to freeze off a stingy wart.” I used to love painting my nails but can’t do that now that my nail is severely discolored. Applying the topical nightly has caused me to develop insomnia. To be truthful I would’ve left this alone entirely if I wasn’t trying to improve my sex life, but I think even that I’m dropping as a goal. And no I am not experiencing a mental health crisis if it sounds like that to any of you. I’m just thinking it may no longer be worth it to keep going through all these treatments and copays just for nothing to happen.

Facial wart gone!

Posting this mostly for my own records, but hoping it helps anyone else looking for a slow, steady, scar-free solution for facial warts!

My 10-year-old had a large, cauliflower-looking wart on her jawline. Usually, we use H-Warts Formula ( https://amoils.com/products/warts?srsltid=AYCX9vINKKVXsh0tr77mmuVI1ZoqPwruQFwBfhP9hpQOX3vdP3q1h29r ) because it worked perfectly on her feet, but it didn't budge on this facial one. I briefly thought it might be molluscum, but after molluscum treatments failed, I realized this was likely just a different, more stubborn type of viral wart. Because it was on her face, I wanted to avoid the dermatologist's freezing methods due to the risk of permanent scarring.

It required 73 days of strict consistency and lots of patience, but her jawline is finally completely flat! The skin still needs some time to fully heal, but the wart is officially gone.

Here is the exact protocol we followed:

Twice Daily Wash: We applied Angel Skin Solutions Anti-Wart Soap morning and night. We never skipped this step, even on rest days. It’s very gentle. https://angelskinsolutions.com/products/wart-soap?srsltid=AYCX9vIgWJ9YokI9KCm9gkSh2zlAU4eprFU-h21mEeDDu_Fh7veGwpaa

Nightly Medicated Patches: I took the medicated dots from the Compound W One Step Pads and secured them over the area using PATCH Bamboo Bandages. The product packaging says not to use it on the face, so we were very careful—we only applied it at night to break the wart down. We started out using it every night, but transitioned to every other night whenever her surrounding skin got red. We kept this up until it grew irritated and clearly started shrinking. During the final few weeks, her skin became really irritated at the end, so I stopped using the Compound W completely.

Off-Night Hydration: On the nights we rested from Compound W, I applied Third Layer Organic Castor Oil with Frankincense to help soothe and support the skin barrier. https://a.co/d/06wkmJ3r

Managing Irritation:
Whenever her skin looked overly raw or angry, I let the area rest overnight from active treatments but kept up with the soap. When the spot began to look a little "oozy" last week, I paused the actives completely (aside from the soap) and applied Good Natured Medical Grade Manuka Honey (MGO 850+) https://a.co/d/07EokjA8 under a bandage for a few days. Once the skin calmed down, we transitioned back to the castor oil. She woke up today (day 73) and the wart is gone! The skin still has a little pigmentation and needs a little time to heal, but it’s flat and no sign of that stubborn wart!

Is it dead? Do i continue with ACV?

Post image

Used ACV solidly for 48 hours, killed all the infected skin and turned black. Debrided all the dead part and was left with this gnarly hole in my finger. Im worried i can kinda see a little circle in the middle where its growing again. Past 24 hours ive just covered it, no treatment. Where do i go from here?

Pain Has Returned at the Same Spot One Month After Corn Removal Surgery – Could It Be Coming Back?

Hi everyone,

I had a corn on the heel area of my foot, which was removed through a surgical procedure. After the surgery, I was free from pain for about a month.

However, as the skin started growing back and healing, the pain returned at exactly the same spot where the surgery was performed. I'm worried that the corn might be growing back.

Photo 1: Shows the surgical site after the procedure, with stitches.

Photo 2: Shows the current condition of the affected area.

I have also started applying salicylic acid to the area because I suspect the corn may have returned

I would really appreciate any advice or experiences from people who have gone through something similar.

Thank you!

I've used compound w gel for around a week and a half but there is still the wart in the centre. I always cover with bandaid as well. Would I keep applying the compound w despite my finger looking like this?

I’ve been using salicylic acid plantar wart remover for about 2 weeks. Pain is mostly gone now. Do I keep using pads or stop/let it try out?

Is this a wart?

I have these two growths on my hairline are they warts? I’ve had the larger one for over 9 months and it’s been growing, it was the same size of the one further in my hair when it started. The smaller one showed up about 3 months ago. Are these warts and should these be treated by a dermatologist or are there any home remedies?

My experience with warts

I haven’t had warts for a while and I just want to say that the only thing that truly made them disappear permanently was cutting them off myself. Hurts and may take a bit to heal but has always been worth it to me. Idk just felt like sharing lol

I’ve been using 5-fluorocracil and 20% SA are my huge plantar warts on my toe. I feel like I’m finally getting some where.

I’ve been using it for almost 4 weeks and I’m going to debride the white skin tonight.

However, is the pink skin around the white skin normal? Any insight would help

With love,
My fucked up big toe

Skin cancer or wart

The first one popped up a couple months ago and now the others are spreading over my right (1-3) and left (4) hand. I have a history of dermatological issues but otherwise don't get much sun exposure and I'm dark haired. I'm probably just overreacting but does anyone mind sharing their thoughts on this?
