Hi! this might be dumb, but I have a quick question about the tower of terror if you guys know the answer
I noticed that during my ride during the 5th dimension after the eye on the left opens, there is video of guests on the ride in one shot, and then another zooming across the screen. how old is this video? is it from 30 years ago or the previous riders that passed by?
I have an attached video credit to LMG Vids on yt

I just got back two weeks ago and I realized that my next trip won’t be for another 5 years at least.
I wanna go whenever the magic kingdom expansions are complete and give them about a year or two to work out the bugs in everything but now I’m left here just kinda wondering well what do I do in the meantime I had an amazing vacation I conquered my fear of character meetings I did the Everest expedition!
But how do you personally deal with that sadness once you’ve gotten home and your vacation is over?

Raglan Road. Disney Springs, Florida
The craftsmanship and storefront look amazing. Are there any times to either avoid or dedicate to the place?

I read a lot of tips online but thought I'd share what worked for me. This was probably the highlight of my trip!!
You might need to ride multiple times to practice/get lucky with the bonus targets. I finally got this score on what was probably my 9th ride on my third MK visit. (And then I was able to do it again on my next and final time on buzz!) I was able to do multiple walk-ons during fireworks and during early entry. I also had LLs.
Take the gun out of the holster and use BOTH hands to aim. You'll be able to see your laser the whole time, make sure you know which is yours, it's important to aim directly at the center of the target. When you hit a target it will turn the color of your gun and you'll feel the feedback in the gun in your hands. There's a short practice time before the game starts.
Do NOT follow the advice online to keep holding the trigger down. If you do this the gun will only shoot every so often, you want to be pulling on that trigger to get in more shots.
Focus on the high value targets:
First room:
The inside of the left arm of the robot, although I was not able to confirm the value, it's a little harder because it's moving.
The claw on the top of the ceiling - this is 10K, so you should be able to leave the first room with over 100K
Second room:
Top 2 targets of the volcano
The eye of the spinning fish thing - this is 100K and imo is a MUST if you want galactic hero - you could reach this by shooting it 10 times alone. Try to get it when you first come into the room and then again as you come around, maneuver your cart to face it at all times.
You should be in the high 100ks when you exit.
Next room:
Bottom of Zurg ship (not sure the score)
The tunnel:
Start with the far right drone on the right side of the runners until it explodes, then the one to it's left, then focus on the alien head on the right side of the tunnel. Then turn yourself around and do it AGAIN, you should see at lease 2 drone sequences while you're in there.
Last room: get the bottom of Zurg's ship and the arm all the way to the right (value not confirmed)
Scan the rooms when you enter - look for the white targets which give you double points. But once you or someone else gets it (and it turns green or red), it won't be white anymore, move on. Try especially to get the targets that are high value AND white.
Look for the rainbow targets, you will probably only see one each ride. Instead of a white ring it will have a rainbow ring. If you hit this it will turn ALL the targets in the room sort of cracked white and shiny for about 10 seconds and they will all be worth more. Again, I would try to get the high value targets at this time as well but I'm not sure exactly how it affects the score. IMPORTANT: even if you are not the one to shoot the rainbow, the bonus has now been unlocked for EVERYONE so use it! If you're riding with other people (or not) I would even announce you see the rainbow and that someone should get it!
It's not over until it's over! Turn your seat to face rooms you left or the high targets and keep shooting! Supposedly you also get higher scores for further distances but I was not able to confirm.
Good luck! And don't forget to take a picture of your score and get your galactic hero sticker from the cast members in the exit store!
Pictured: my pure joy after finally making galactic hero! Literally all of my other pictures on the ride are me focusing seriously on shooting and one where I was forcing myself to smile lol.

Digging through some old family trip albums, my parents kept everything. Pictured is a brochure from July 1993. Pretty interesting pricing.

Does anyone have any experience with combining DVC hotel stays and the VISA Inspire to pay off room charges? We’re going in January and I was hoping to take advantage of this perk by charging all dining and merch purchases back to the room, then paying it off with the Inspire. Per the exact wording of the card, “folio charges” count, so this should work. But has anyone tried it yet and confirmed it? TIA!!

Hi everyone! My daughter (6), hubby and I are going to Disney for Halloween. We got tickets to the not so scary party which I’m looking forward to. I brought her last year for Columbus Day (no not so scary party) and was admittedly completely overwhelmed on what to do and where. I want to make the best of her/our trip. Are there any must do’s while we’re there? She’s a tall 6yr old but still easily spooked. We did primarily rides last time. Are there any shows you recommend? She loves Belle naturally. We do have a be our guest lunch booked. I have considered bippity boppity boutique but I’m not sure it will fit into our day on Halloween. Here is our itinerary- Halloween- Magic kingdom all day/night for the party, that Sunday, animal kingdom and that Monday, Hollywood studios. Please give me any suggestions you may have! TIA!

Hi all!!
We love Disneyland but have never made the (much longer for us) trip to Florida to go to Disneyworld. We are considering taking my son, who will be barely 2, at the beginning of December. The reason we’re thinking about Disneyworld instead of Disneyland is primarily Toy Story Land. He LOVES all things Toy Story and I think would love the experience. I have done some research online, but wanted to ask all you DW veterans: is Toy Story Land worth making the trip to FL instead of just going Disneyland? Are there other things you think are better for 2 year olds? He is about 36”, so still too little for big rides.
Any input is so appreciated!!!

First time Disney visit- Any idea how long does it take from Drury to Magic kingdom for early entry? The earliest shuttle from Drury is at 7.10 and from what i understand, shuttle will drop us at TTC , from where we need to take monorail. Is there any other way to reach MK faster?

Hello all just wanted to give a view into our VIP tour experience.
We were a party of 5. My husband (39M) and I (33F) have been multiple times to Disney over the years but it was a first trip for my BIL (45M) and neices (16F and 12F). We were also celebrating my husband's birthday. We are generally thrill seekers.
We opted for a 9 hour tour. We met our guide in Animal Kingdom. We were able to do 4 parks, 15 rides, quick service lunch, Starbucks, VIP merch shopping, and were dropped off for Fantasmic. We hit all of the headliner rides we wanted except Remy because it went down.
I think one of the biggest perks for me was being able to be present and enjoy the day instead of worrying about planning, booking, and directing everyone. I loved that we could easily get front/back row. We were able to reride if we wanted. Also our tour guide was great at engaging every person in the group. We got great pics cause she would tell us where all the cameras were. Also girl kept us hydrated all day!
I don't think we would do it every trip but would for sure do it again with a larger group or if we had little ones with us.
