PC Mod WWE SvR 2009 PC Port - Online Support
This is like a fork of the native PC port of WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2009; original project here: https://github.com/nefariousjosiah/WWE-SVR2009-RECOMP
We’ve added online support on top of it. The game’s Xbox LIVE menu works again through our own server: you can play ranked 1v1 matches, player matches, and tag team, triple threat and fatal 4-way rooms. You don’t need to open any ports or use a VPN.
Leaderboards, match history and the setup guide are here: https://nobkonline.com/svr09/how-to-play/
You need your own copy of the game (.iso), since no game files are included.

Screenshots Evolution: Kendal Grey vs Lyra Valkryia & Lola Vice vs Lady Shani - Reina De Reinas Championship
The NXT Showcase is next as Kendal Grey goes one on one with Lyra Valkyria. Things begin with a show of respect as both women shake hands before getting down to business. Once the action begins, the two put on an absolute masterclass, trading technical holds, springboard maneuvers, high risk offense, and brutal strong style strikes. Neither woman backs down, pushing the other to her limits in an impressive display of skill and athleticism. A fisherman buster nearly wins it for Lyra, and an elbow from Kendal nearly puts it away for her. In the end, Kendal finds her opening and connects with Shades of Grey, putting Lyra away to secure an impressive victory!
Lola Vice defends her Reina De Reinas Championship next against the returning Lady Shani. Shani explodes out of the gate, taking Lola down and establishing control early. However, the champion shifts the momentum with a massive head kick before unleashing a barrage of ground and pound offense. Shani fights back into the match, knocking Lola off the top rope before following up with a devastating kick to the face. As Shani pursues her advantage, Vice rolls out of the ring, only to catch her with a perfectly timed axe kick when she follows. Back inside the ring, Lola strings together a series of devastating attacks in the corner, leaving Shani in serious trouble. Sensing the opportunity to put the match away, Vice brings Shani to her feet and connects with the Spinning Backfist! The devastating strike ends the contest, allowing Lola Vice to defeat Lady Shani and successfully retain the Reina De Reinas Championship.

PC Mod Made a mod that makes the referees not braindead
I hate the referees in these games, they don't fucking do anything. So I fixed that, now they move around more, they check on you when you're down, they're more animated, they don't run a full circle around a pin before they get into position like a dog trying to get comfortable in bed, they check on the loser of the match instead of just standing there staring at nothing, they follow you to the outside and try to break up the fight before starting the 10 count, and I added sliders for count speed for both pins and count outs, and each referee has their own sliders for that so you can make some referees faster than others. I did that because I noticed that Earl Hebner always had a faster count than anyone else. It's not perfect, several things are constantly fighting against each other, like for example I made a rule that they have to avoid blocking the hard cam, but overall I'm pretty happy with it, I think it's way better than vanilla.
I haven't posted anything in a while, this is why, this took a while. I've also been working on the wrestlers ai as well, you may notice they play a little different in this video than in matches you might have had. There's a lot that goes into all that and I don't wanna go into that much detail right now, and it's hard to explain anyways, you'll just kinda have to play it for yourself when I release this. I'm working on one big ass project that has several mods in it and it includes its own modding tool to load all of them, you can load other mods with it as well and also use it to export/import models, textures, etc. It also lets you easily add music and call names, set any wrestler to referee or manager (that's how I have the custom referee in this video), import movesets from 2k25, change wrestlers height, give them unique animations that only certain wrestlers in the game have, and more. And it'll all be free. Don't know when I'm gonna be releasing all this, just stay tuned.

Discussion How do you decide your Champions in Exhibition mode?
Back in the SD vs. Raw 2006 and 2007 days, I kinda went with the matching my game's champions to the real life champions idea at first. Even if I didn't like WWE's booking decisions. I had Edge as my WWE champion for 3 weeks and RVD for a short period as well before giving it back to Cena, for example.
Eventually I decided to scrap that and just usually went with whomever I wanted as champion. Last time I played those games, I think half of my champions were CAWs.
In the 2k games, it depends. There's some championships that would just feel "off" to not give to a certain person. The Smoking Skull wouldn't fit anyone else but Austin, and The Brahma Bull wouldn't fit anyone other than The Rock either.
And then there's also belts that fit certain people, in my eyes, even though they're from a different generation than those belts. I think the Divas championship fits Alexa Bliss perfectly and the 98-10 Women's Championship also fits Asuka perfectly; for example. I also like making The Boogeyman the 24/7 champion.
The European Championship? WWE has had more European wrestlers than ever within the last decade. Adding CAWs to the mix, including my own, I "build" a good division around that belt.

Help/Question Smackdown Shut Your Mouth Season Mode question
I’m currently the Undisputed Champ but for some reason I wasn’t given a match for the Royal Rumble. Is this normal to be left off the card even as champ?

Help/Question Heel Cody Rhodes
I'm about to turn Cody Rhodes heel in universe mode and want to change his entrance from his generic babyface shtick to something more fitting. For some added context he's going to be in a modern-day Evolution inspired faction in the Triple H role. Does anybody have some ideas on what entrance motion and music to use? Any feedback would be appreciated 🙏🏼.
*EDIT: I'm still on 2K25 if that's relevant.

Discussion 10 years since WWE 2K17! Did anyone else really like this game?
I actually really liked MyCareer in that it was essentially just built off of Universe, with contextual cutscenes, a grind for each championship, the first promo engine, more variation in each rivalry you started, t-shirt sales for extra VC (you could play any mode to unlock every superstar in the game) as well as the Heyman Guy Challenge where upon completion, you would be advocated by Heyman who would give you twice the VC as well as do your promos with his own special options.
The only issue with this game for me is that it was released like 6 months too early and was really broken at launch, not 2K20 levels but still unacceptable at the time. I remember leaving the game after 2 weeks before returning in January where the only bugs left were progression-based. Certain rivalries would never end, the IC title once you reached rank 4 would internally reset your progress in that ranking and would take you twice the amount of time of any other title…but beneath all that was a game with a really good foundation and could’ve been so much more had they been given more time. Maybe they could’ve even kept in the Special Rivalries that 2K16 had…besides that tho it was a step-up in every area and as long as you keep your save backed up in-between rivalries, you were able to avoid most bugs in the game. Graphics were a big step-up as well as animations, laying the foundation which would eventually become the peak of the Yukes/2K era, 2K19. The control scheme was way better here, more intuitive and is a big reason as to why I really don’t mind the grind up each ranking, because the game is just FUN. I’ve put more hours into this game within the last two months than I ever did 2K22-26…
YouTube content was also a lot better here, the Career being barebones allowed a lot of people to kind of make their own stories and along with 2K16 would bring us prime DenkOps, BDE etc. they all started with this style of Career and I think with 2K18 onwards into the story modes we’ve had since with MyRISE, I feel we’ve lost a lot of that creative magic. Superstar Mode isn’t a good enough substitute, I appreciate having stories but i remember SvR 2009/2010 having both.
I always return to this game and despite its many flaws, it’s certainly one of my favourites.
