Tomorrow will be my first time at a WEC race and at the Barcelona circuit. I have a few questions that I couldn't find answers to...

Is there a shuttle from Montmelo to the circuit? Google maps says I should take a bus to some station and then walk 30mins to the circuit.

Are food and drinks allowed inside?

I am planning to get there for the autograph session that starts at 9:35. Should I come earlier to queue up?

I know this sounds like "fork found in kitchen", but after watching all of LMH's onboard, I feel like the onboard looks really horrible. Its like watching a supercar going around karting track, where the cars spend most of the time coasting / braking.

LMH is definitely way more suited towards high speed tracks like spa / monza, or, hear me out, Le Mans

Verstappen Racing had a disappointing qualifying session in the GT World Challenge Europe (GTWC) season finale at Portimao, with the team's No.3 Mercedes set to start from 14th place. But how did it happen and can the team turn things around come the race?

WEC has now arrived in Spain for the penultimate race of the 2026 season. The last two races in Europe were not on the initial calendar, but the political and military situation in the Middle East, meant that WEC will finish the season in Barcelona and Monza.

This ‘Spotter Guide’ is for the 6-hour race, which takes place on Sunday 18 October.

Note that the programme for Saturday has a different running order because practice session 3 has been split between the two classes.
