My mum got a TV PLAY box on Thursday. I was doing the setup process and it got to this screen that it was saying it couldn't the account.

She has an account that has an account number and i made her another account for her because I thought it would be helpful. I used her mobile phone number to make the account. now im thinking because I made the other account that thats the reason why its not finding the account.

today, I unplugged the power unit, plugged it back in, turned the box on and its been doing maintenance for almost an hour.

I need help, I don't know what to do.

For six days now, we've had a complete internet (cable) outage in our apartment in Germany because someone apparently cut a cable by accident in our area... Vodafone's website says they have no idea when the problem will be fixed. When I researched a little further, I read about Vodafone's AlwaysOn program, which among other things says it can be possible to get a hotspot to cover the period of the outage.

However, on the three different occasions my roommate (the actual Vodafone customer) has called Vodafone customer service, they mentioned nothing about this and even said a hotspot was out of the question.

This brings me to my question: Just how bad does the outage need to get before Vodafone finally gives us something to cover the outage? It's absolutely absurd how Vodafone keeps dragging their heels on the repair and at the same time seems to be unwilling to give us any actual help.

I had a sim card of MTS, I guess you know the brand. Then I ported it from MTS to AirTel (due to the discontinuation of MTS in India). I had a good memory with it. It gave me at around 800MBPS data speed with AirTel 5G connection. But I am now in a govt. college and in my college the connection of AirTel 5G very poor and its around "-110". So today I went to a store to port the sim card operator from AirTel to Jio, because Jio is great at the location of my college. I want high speed data speed. Am I doing right? Because there was Vi also at that area, but I chose Jio.

Hi everyone.

I placed a pre-order for the iPhone 18 Pro Max on 12 September, including trading in my 17 Pro Max through the Xchange programme. The new Airtime plan commenced on 17 September and the new phone was delivered on 18 September. I then took my trade-in to my local store on 26 September (ie well within the window) as I have had issues previously with trading in via post.

I received a message this week to say my trade-in has been cancelled as they have not received it at the warehouse. I am continuing to pay £50+ a month for a phone that has been in Vodafone’s possession for several weeks. I truly am at a loss for what to do here - I have complained via live chat, via 191 and nobody with any competence is available to assist me.

I’ve been assured that they’ll send the phone back to me once received, but there is very little chance of that in my view as it’s been with Vodafone for 3 weeks now. I am out of pocket for £50+ a month for a phone that I no longer have.

Does anyone have any advice on how to proceed here?

We have been using vodafone since the beginning of this year and have moved to a new apartment since 2 weeks ago (in the same city). And as you can guess, there has been no internet at all since the move. Vodafone has confirmed my move request before our moving day. And multiple appointments have been made to have a technician come to our apartment but still no internet. And it is highly likely that we won't have internet until the end of next week.
Since my husband works from home, he bought several internet packages. So I would like to know if anyone has had similar experience and has been compensated by vodafone?
This has been very frustrating since vodafone forces us to contact their other company ourselves to have things sorted. And of course, no one takes out calls.

is it just me but i dont have mobile data for the past week, also cant seem to log in to my vodafone app. SMS code is not being sent. Any advice? tried contacting vodafone and i just get a generic robot response. Seems everything there is ran by bots...

Firmly recommend against using it - it sends your password and username in a plain-text request.

Hi, like in the title. I can make calls and use the network without problems, but no one can call me. It says I am unavailable. I have a monthly plan , paid. I have checked most of the options. The phone is pixel 9proxl. Thanks for your help.

The router at home has been flashing red and the open reach box suddenly dropped all lights at the weekend. Unfortunately I had been taken to hospital so couldn’t get any ball rolling till last night. I can see no lights in the open reach hub apart from power and a flashing red in the WiFi 7 router. I have logged a job with Vodafone, I did try from hospital days ago but it just wanted me to be at home with the router so I gave up. It’s been off about 4-5 days now so a definite fault.
I have tried a few different power on off checked cables etc but no dice I think it must be external. I did try openreach but they just say sod off to your supplier even if it is our box.
How long does this normally take to fix any ideas? I do have a SIM card backup thing somewhere, I think it’s still in the box tbh. I’m coping fine without internet lol but the girls are not amused.
I had some weird message also on the Vodafone app saying subscription no longer available for this router has to be a glitch as they snaffle the monthly fee from my bank without a glitch each month including a few days back.

suddenly, I had all my contacts deleted from my phone but they still exist in my google account and I can see them through https://contacts.google.com/

I tried to export my contacts then import them to my phone but the import is always stuck at some percentage.

then I tried to manually sync the contacts but it says that the sync is current experience problems.

and my calls history isn't being updated with my recent calls, I tried to clear the app's data so the all my calls history is deleted now but it didn't fix the issue.

I handed my iPhone 15 Pro Max to Vodafone for a battery replacement on 26 September. On 29 September, I received an update saying Vodafone had handed the phone over to DHL, with delivery scheduled for 30 September.

On 1 October, I checked the tracking and found that the parcel was delayed. It is now 13 October, and the tracking still hasn’t changed. I still don’t have my phone.

I contacted DHL a few days ago, and they told me that because the delay had exceeded five days, I needed to contact the sender, Vodafone, to investigate. To me, this strongly suggests that DHL cannot resolve the issue directly with me and that the parcel may have been lost.

I called Vodafone on Sunday, and customer service told me to call back on Monday because DHL was closed and they couldn’t check anything.

So I called again on Monday, only to be told that it wasn’t Vodafone’s responsibility and that I should contact DHL.

DHL told me to contact Vodafone, and Vodafone told me to contact DHL. Meanwhile, I’m the one left without my phone.

What’s even more frustrating is that Vodafone initially refused to open an investigation. I had to mention escalating my complaint to the Ombudsman before they finally agreed to open a case.

I understand that delivery issues can happen, but Vodafone arranged the return delivery. I don’t think it’s acceptable to leave a customer chasing two companies back and forth while neither seems willing to take ownership of the problem.

It’s been nearly two weeks since Vodafone handed my phone to DHL, and I still have no idea where it is.

Has anyone experienced something similar with Vodafone? If DHL has lost your phone during a return delivery, did Vodafone replace it or compensate you? And what would you recommend I do next?

Honestly, this experience has completely put me off Vodafone. Never again.

Problem is that when the voicemails get to a certain amount, no more voicemails can be left, which can be bad for business.

Has anyone found a way for the voicemails to auto delete when they get to a certain number?
