USL HQ Community Poll: Should r/USLPro Update Its Branding to Match the USL’s New Look?
With HQ officially unveiling its new branding and visual identity earlier this week, I was wondering if r/USLPro should rebrand as well.
Should we update the subreddit’s appearance to reflect the USL’s new branding, or keep our current look?
A rebrand would primarily involve updating our community icon, banner, colors, and other visual elements to better align with the league’s new identity. To be clear, this would not change the subreddit’s name, rules, or overall purpose.
Please cast your vote and feel free to share your thoughts or suggestions in the comments!

Championship “For of all sad words of tongue or pen, the saddest are these: 'It might have been!'" J G Whittier
“There’s always next year”
With a final League game against Tampa, the only thing Sporting Jax are guaranteed to win this season is the dreaded wooden spoon. Across the Championship and League 1, year one expansion success is a tough nut to crack and has often been hit and miss.
For Jax, having the sons of two Premier League veterans in the team, almost exclusively gave commentators something positive to write about and expectations were high. Sadly, they didn’t live up to those expectations in a big way.
I don’t want any club in the USL to fail. I like good competitive football with down-to-the-wire excitement. At the risk of eliciting rival club and Armada fan banter which, although I welcome, doesn’t answer the more serious question which is, what did Jax do wrong, on and off the field, and how can they make next season better?

Championship Nate Dossantos on United Soccer Lounge: Second Players’ Shield, the move to Tampa, and defending in the Championship
New United Soccer Lounge with Nate dos Santos, captain of the Tampa Bay Rowdies.
He won the Players’ Shield with Pittsburgh in 2023, spent two seasons in Charleston, and just claimed his second Shield with Tampa as the top seed in the East. He talks about celebrating the trophy without losing focus, the HARDEST places to play in USL Championship, why the move to Tampa made sense, growing up in Oakville, and what it’s actually like to defend the league’s best forwards.

Other With the new Rebrand and Soccer Pyramid, USL should really try to negotiate video gaming rights again.
For those who don’t know, eFootball had USL rights for a couple of years. Although EAFC has MLS already it seems unlikely that they would include USL.
However I think them negotiating with Konami or another developer would be super advantageous for both the company to have legitimate licenses and for the USL to give more brand recognition to gamers and youth.

US Open Cup Should Open Cup be held at a neutral site like a “National” stadium for US Soccer?
With the Open Cup final today I heard on the Morning Kickaround their discussion of the idea of a national stadium for US Open Cup. Jason suggested St Louis to have hosting because of the cities Soccer history and Rob suggested a Florida site since going forward the open Cup final may be played in December.
For me personally I am fine with the Host team being selected by lottery as it is currently. We don’t have a Wembley Stadium that kids dream to play in someday for our country. for the sake of discussion where would you suggest a neutral site Open Cup Final be held and why?
I think a good place would be Dallas to host as it is Central and has a warmer winter climate plus a large international airport which would make for easier travel for fans. Start in FC Dallas stadium with the Soccer Hall of fame area and if needed because of demand in the future use Dallas Cowboy stadium or the Cotton Bowl.

Championship Championship Chance Creation and Contribution
2026 Season Stats
Criteria: Minimum 500 minutes played and at least one goal or assist.
Dot colors represent teams, and larger dots indicate more big chances created.
I excluded players with zero goals and assists to reduce crowding along the left edge and make the graph easier to read.
Among the excluded players, Alfredo Midence had the highest chance-creation rate: 1.50 chances per 90 minutes. Lucas Stauffer created the most total chances, with 20.
