Hello,
I’m looking at registration for Spring 2027. I was wondering if anyone had taken BIOL414 or 614 (same class) with Phillip Farabaugh recently? His Rate My Professor has no reviews since 2011. I’m wondering what recent students have thought about him and the class.

Thank you!

if you log out of blackboard or myUMBC you won't be able to log in atleast for now.

Hey guys what’s POLI100 with Tom Schaller like? I have to take it for a SW gen ed as a junior BSW student

Hey people is the ENME 110 discussion really required? Cuz I don’t ever see them actually taking attendance

Any recommendations on which professor to take for IS 202 next semester? Currently, the options are Shiva Sharma, Margaret Kahl, and Meagan Zinnert. Reviews are pretty bad for the first two, but I can't find any for Meagan Zinnert.

I fking hate these classes. Like if the other students in your group dont know what theyre doing how is us figuring it out together going to be effective. The calc discussion sessions are set up way better than this.

For someone who hasnt done coding in their entire life but is a stat major, which class should I start with? (asking for a friend)

So I have a cell bio exam 2 under Feeser, and im thinking about doing the makeup exam. I'm a bit concerned though as the syllabus says "Make-ups may be in short-answer or essay format...", is that just a scare tactic, or is it actually harder then the normal exam?

lost it Friday. If u accidentally picked it up lmk I need it 😭

Succulent and aloe plant cuttings. Freshly cut tonight! I'm bringing them to campus tomorrow at around 9am in the fine arts building(no dirt, no pots, just cuttings in these containers shown so the rest is up to you). Someone take them off me! :)

I'm applying in January after doing music production as a hobby for the past 4 years, and I'm so confused 😭😭 Do they prefer certain genres or DAW's or anything? I'm basically trying to produce as much original well-made music as I can over next 2 months

My parents just threatened to kick me out and I am looking for a room to rent ASAP!! I know it’s in the middle of the school year but if anyone knows anyone pls help a girl out 💔 I’ll take anything

hii guys

I've finished studying (prof messed, cyber craft, American institute, exam compass, and udemy) and done 7 practice exams, but my exam anxiety is real and I keep putting off booking it. I already paid for the retake, so I have a safety net. I just need to lock in and actually take it.

Looking for a few people to keep me accountable through November. Quick check-ins, sharing scores, and a push when I start making excuses.

If you're testing soon too, or you've passed and want to cheer people on, comment or DM me!

In case you weren't aware, there's a petition to remove the Flock cameras on UMBC's campus. If you would like to help back the petition, you can sign it at the attached link (openpetition.org/hrsfm). Thanks for your support!!

Hey guys so for one of my classes I can choose between Katherine Spinney or Ashley Prowell. Who should I choose since there’s no reviews on gritview? Also has anyone had Conial Caldwell? They are the only option for one of my classes and again no reviews

Hey guys! I have a virtual audition for Jubilee Singers as a spring transfer next Thursday. I’m trying to figure out what I should sing. I’m a mezzo but on the soprano end and would love your suggestions!

Hey guys, I lost a ring today if anyone could please be on the lookout that’d be great. I lost it somewhere between the Meyehoff building and the path to the Library. So if anyone happens to find it please let me know, thank you!

Hi everyone, I have two tickets to the Quadeca concert in DC on Sunday night that I’m most likely not going to be able to make it to anymore. I know there are quite a few Quadeca fans on campus so I wanted to post here and see if anyone would want to purchase them off of me for $75 total. Each ticket was $47 when I originally purchased them during presale.

I don't know why reddit filters keep rejecting this post. All I want to know is whether the Online MS (Information Systems) lectures are held Asynchronously (Pre-recorded) or do the students meet with the professor (online) at a specific date/time?
