Discussion Battered Bruin Syndrome survivors!

Those who have been suffering from Battered Bruin Syndrome are beginning to show recovery and emerge on Saturdays across the nation!

At a random suburban Costco in DENVER, got several “Go Bruins!” from fellow bruins! Three were donning their best UCLA gear.

Bruin Nation is starting to heal. Let’s keep it rolling!

Go Bruins!!

News [Pete Thamel] Sources: Michigan State starting quarterback Alessio Milivojevic (undisclosed) is not expected top play at No. 9 UCLA today. With back-up Cam Fancher out, true freshman Kayd Coffman is in line for his first career start. He’ll face UCLA back-up Ty Dieffenbach.

Not the AP Poll but Josh Pate’s show is the most watched college football show so it’s nice to have him backing us as the playoff committee definitely watches his show.

Failing NFL franchises in THIS area are looking to add a shot of adrenaline with a head coach change and He's the hottest Coach with the most respect in LA right now... they better double down on him quickly

i think a better analogy to this situation is when the Redskins made the swap from RG3 to Kirk Cousins. RG3 had super high upside, shown splashes in a few games, was the #2 overall pick but also wasn't a polished passer. After spotty play and an eventual injury, Cousins got the start and similarly gave the team more consistent QB play. Look at the two careers since and perhaps likely what happens here.

Wondering a) if it’s legit, b) when it’s from, and c) if the elastic cuffs mean anything. Regardless, fun $8 piece to now own as an alum. Thanks!

The Bruins, picked 12th in Cleveland.com’s preseason Big Ten poll, are the last unbeaten team in a conference that’s won three consecutive national championships. They’re allowing 16.2 points per game, have forced 19 turnovers and hold opponents to 26.6 percent on third down. TruMedia ranks UCLA 33rd in pressure rate despite blitzing at the 58th-highest rate. Running back Wayne Knight has scored 12 touchdowns.

Discussion Should we root for USC?

Hear me out. In the upcoming Wisconsin vs USC match, originally it made more sense to root for Wisconsin since their easier schedule lends itself to them having a higher chance of being ranked at the end of the season, thus boosting our resume. BUT, if Ohio State’s quarterback is still injured by the time the USC Ohio State game starts, then we might want to root for USC since they can still be ranked with a win vs Ohio State and a loss to Indiana. If we add to that scenario the [horrible and unlikely] possibility that USC beats us, that would be a quality ranked loss. If Wisconsin wins this week, our hypothetic loss to USC would be a low quality unranked loss likely knocking us out of the playoff picture. I think there’s a good chance of USC beating Ohio State because USC is getting healthy + Ohio State said Julian Sayin will be injured for several weeks. Now of course they still have to defend Jeremiah Smith but Ohio State’s short backup QB looked pretty bad at the end of that Indiana game. So what do ya’ll think who should be sacrificed for the greater good of our resume? I know I’m overthinking but I’m just so fucking hyped and dialed in to this season haha
