SEASON 3 Does anyone else feel like CTU went along with this too easily?
It was a bit like "ohh Ryan has to die. Bummer. Anyways..." They didnt even consider staging his death or negotiating.

General/Other Milo Pressman
This name belongs to a character in two productions that star Kiefer Sutherland. Who knows the one besides 24, and which character it was?
Kiefer had to be involved in giving Eric Balfour’s character in 24 the same name, because it’s too coincidental.

SEASON 2 Re-Watching 2×15
I've seen S2 many times. I knew it was coming, but this time, when Jack tells Kim he is making the ultimate sacrifice, I teared up. Please tell me I am not the only one who got emotional during that scene.

REDEMPTION Rewatching 24: Redemption made me think... More 2 hour movies could have been done
"Downsizing isn't necessarily a bad thing", said a review of Redemption of the time.
And it's made me think... I've always had a hollow feeling about 24 since the end of the last season, just with the image of how it left Jack.
But it's been 12 years since, and I know there's ideas of a new series.
That aside, Redemption showed there were so many incredible ways to tell 24 in a two hour timeslot. I'm not talking "cinema release movie", just "Fox bringing back a special event".
Until we see more Jack, I love the idea that maybe there was a prisoners exchange in the years since 2014, and Jack has been free to be at home or be at work, and there's been a whole period where we could have put Jack into little situations that also update us on his life, but also give us 24 hours fun.
Long story short, if we could have had 3 x 2 hour special events over the last decade, that would have been a fun way to keep Jack's story going, without scaling up a whole procedural.

SEASON 3 Kyle Singer?
If Kyle Singer was the distraction, why did Tony, who was part of it, try to take him at the mall?

SEASON 3 One thing that bugged me about the hotel plot.
The virus in the hotel was one of the high points of season 3, but there is one thing that really bugged me: not allowing anyone in the hotel to contact anyone outside. It was bad enough that they couldn’t leave the hotel, but that was understandable because they needed to contain the virus. But not letting anyone contact any loved ones was just cruel. It just felt like a big cover up and even from that angle, it didn’t make sense. You can’t cover up that many deaths forever and lo and behold, hours later it was public knowledge.
I mean most of the people in the hotel were doomed to an agonizing death, the least they could have was a chance to connect with loved ones.

Meme/Fluff Would you have watched a 24/Glee crossover event in which Jack Bauer serves as a substitute Glee coach while Sue Sylvester becomes the new president?

SEASON 4 Does the fasten seatbelt sign not apply on Air Force One?
Rewatching Season 4, and I can’t understand why President Keeler and his son were just standing around on Air Force One when they knew a missile attack was imminent.
Wouldn’t the first thing you do in any aviation emergency be to strap into a seat? Especially with the Secret Service right there?
Considering the plane ultimately crash-landed rather than being completely destroyed midair, I wonder if wearing seatbelts could have significantly improved their chances of survival.

SEASON 3 I'm in the middle of season 3, I feel like a lot of it makes no sense
(discussing up to episode 14)
Yeah this shit is convoluted as all hell of course but even getting passed that, I still can't see why they had Ramon arrested and jailed. There's this whole undercover thing where Jack is acting like he's down with the Salazars but then he turns on Ramon and then frees him. What was the point of ever having him caught again?
Also, Jack is cool with Kim working at CTU...you know, that place that got bombed last season.
Another issue I have is that the actual villains aren't doing anything or having an effect on anything. Like the prison break out with all the prisoners being set free could have been a cool villain move but instead it's a convoluted thing Jack had to do (that seemed unnecessary to escaping). But like most of the wreckage and crap happening is from CTU/Jack versus the antagonists doing bad guy stuff.
I just finished episode 14 and Nina was just killed in a pretty dogshit way. I don't feel like she'd talk to Kim that way as it makes no sense.
I feel like in previous seasons I was always on President Palmer's side but in this season he's done a couple things that I don't agree with. The latest thing is not just firing his brother. Is it just me or is that just not a big deal? It feels like no stakes there to just go with it.
I also have a hard time feeling like this virus is real whereas in season 2, I somehow stated to buy into there being a nuke in LA from all the levels of conspiracy happening. Maybe you just can't top season 2's scenario of a nuke AND CTU headquarters being bombed.
Anyone else have any thoughts?

News/Updates If Jack's story continues, how do you think it'll continue given that Kiefer has already confirmed there to be a script presented to him which he would like to play?
So basically if we get a continuation of Jack's story, how will it likely go? Will it be a new season where Americans break Jack out of Russian prison, or a tv movie where Jack is broken out of Russian prison then followed by a new season with Jack at the helm? How do you think they will go about this?

General/Other Thoughts on Larry Moss
If I had to give an award for most underdeveloped character in 24, it would probably go to Larry Moss.
When I first finished season seven, I found myself quite annoyed at the character. I thought he was a knockoff Chappelle/Mason when it came to casting the next "annoying bureaucrat who hates Jack" character. Looking back, however, I think Moss fell victim to circumstances. Had he either been introduced earlier in the series or been allowed to remain in the show past season seven, I think he could have developed into one of the better law enforcement characters of the series. He had a lot of potential, but he just didn't get enough time to shine.
Thoughts on my assessment?
