FORM CHECK Backflip: 6 months ago vs now (only ~5 sessions in between)
What surprised me is that I only had about 4-5 actual training sessions between these two clips. Most of the improvement in my opinion came from training plyometrics in the gym.
Height, rotational speed and control all feel way better, and I’m pretty sure it’s the explosive power.
Feedback is still welcome please! What can i improve to cleanup my flip?

FORM CHECK Struggling with hip extension and air awareness during backflips - any tips?
Hi Team, here's my second video of my standing back tuck!
My coach mentioned that I'm not fully extending my arms overhead (pulling them back past my ears) and that I'm throwing my hips forward instead of upward.
I can jump relatively high, but I struggle to drive my hips up and fully extend them during takeoff. My air awareness isn't great either.
Anyone experienced something similar? Would appreciate any feedback, tips, or drills to improve.
Thank you!

FORM CHECK How to improve the backflip
Looking for feedback on my backflip technique.
- Pre-bounce (as seen in the last 2 YouTube videos): Before takeoff, am I supposed to do a small pre-bounce on the mat with my feet like I see some people do? Or should I just load and jump?
- Lean-back: I know I'm supposed to swing my arms up and leave it there to catch your hands instead of swinging it down but when I bring my hips up my torso is leaning way back instead of staying upright. Once I start rotating, it feels like I'll never get my legs around to my hands
- Fear: I don't dare jump straight up because I've stalled three times, going up and then dropping and landing on my head
What do you think I can do to improve to be as good as you guys! Thank you so much!

QUESTION Back to BackHandsprings
Hello everyone, trying to get back to tumbling after 10 years no training, this time I will learn from my past mistakes and I will train it slow, now just learning handstand, handwalk and macacco flip, untill i feel comfortable enough to jump back again, so this is the smalls steps up towards backhandsprings that i have learned back in the day, but maybe do you have any other secret cheat codes to get used into backhandsprings ? Like maybe i should go downhills on sand or grass? Maybe i should do it on trampoline? ( i hate trampolines , since its so different from ground) . So guys tell me everything you know and that could help me relearn everything all by myself! Thx for reading 😉
ALSO Right now i care only about backhandsprings no back tucks or Round offs, since backhand springs i think is the most important trick to get into flow and feeling of tumbling

QUESTION How to improve my back tuck
Hey there,
Is there something I can do to improve my back tuck?
As shown in the vid I can do a back tuck but it is not cosistent (landing maybe 2/10 attempts). I guess this was one of the lucky attemps, where I was able to land it. Nevertheless I think it is a good representation of my technique. Any advice on how to improve this? A lot of people told my that I have to tuck better but I don't know on what to focus?
Are there some exercises which could help me to get a better tuck?
I would appreciate any kind of information.

QUESTION Crash mat recommendations for double backflip?
I posted this in the trampoline sub not much luck maybe I’ll have some here.
So I Bought a tramp again finally amd I’m looking to start training toward a double backflip and want to invest in a mat for safety while practicing progressions..
Always just sent it as a kid but having not done it in MANY years I’m def a little anxious/nervous.
For those of you who have trained them or similar advanced moves what crash mats do you use or recommend?
Ofc if it’s budget friendly that’s a plus but I understand that my safety is worth any type of money can buy.
