Discussion What is the most fun track less to you?
Just for curiosity sake, what do people in the community think is the most fun way to play? I have my own thoughts, but let's see what everyone thinks.

Question Question for Toon-Up Less toons
I’m considering making my next toon Toon-Up less, to those with tu-less does it make finding groups any harder? Are people rude about it in your experience? How do Field Offices tend to go? Any tips? I must know the secrets.

Feels impossible to get a silver star
I've been online for over 3 hours now trying for a silver star. Every time I'm on the last building I need, one or more of my buildings get taken over by cogs! I keep bouncing between 15-25 floors - never keeping buildings long enough to break 30+
How quickly are building taken back over? I am using ToonHQ to quickly join groups and making sure I always am in the same district, but it feels impossible with the sheer speed I buildings are re-taken

Screenshot TTR-Offline running natively on iOS
Working on a personal project to get my kids more involved with the game. We don’t all have laptops but they certainly all have an iPad. Runs really well on my phone.
I want to clarify that this isn’t going to be released without express permission from the repo owner, as of now it’s just a fun little project for me and my kids.
Edit:
After talking with RegDogg, it looks like we could possibly be looking at a mobile release!
The release would not be affiliated with official Toontown: Rewritten however it would he based on TTR-Offline’s source code.
More to come

Discussion Reminder, you have 6 hours from this post to finish Cartoonival!
You have 6 hours to make sure you get all the accessories, go to any parades, and make sure to get as long as a gag multiplier you can, as they last the full amount once it's finished and WON'T go away when cartoonival ends.

TTR communities…
Hey all, I returned to TTR after 5 years and by chance decided to check reddit and found this community.
I wonder, are there any other niche or general TTR related communities in Reddit? I know our population is smaller than it used to be but I feel like I’m missing a trick

Discussion Toontown Rewritten Dream I had.
So the dream description is actually pretty short I think ( it might end up longer when I write it out, and I am leaving out unrelated to ttr details ), but it got me thinking about it and I wanted to know what people would think of the concept.
So the dream was fairly simple. There was a TTR event going on that was lore based. Me and a former friend ( which is why the dream is memorable to me ) went through this tunnel from TTC to Brrgh that was only around for the event. It puts us in our highest level cog suit ( in the dream mine was my hollywood 50 suit and hers was a lawbot suit ), and the game showed us a cutscene that was like a forward camera move across the street. "Cogs" were walking in packs of 4, but one of the gladhanders heads popped off revealing a black cat toon ( so, these were toons disguised as cogs, maybe some of the cogs were cogs but it was mostly toons in FULL disguises ) and then the whisper notifications were explaining the lore.
The lore is actually what's short because I don't remember it word for word, but, the gist that I remember is that the cogs were now going to be infiltrating estates and turning houses into "Moneybag Homes" which. Funny enough, they're just banks. Like, the cogs do not live in them, The appearance looks like the sandbag gag but big, with cognation plastered on it, and the cashbot logo.
I never actually figured this part out, but I *ASSUME* that it's supposed to be the "Cashbot field office". IDK why they were in estates though. Cogs did not roam the estate when there was a Moneybags bank,
Obviously this would not be a good idea one to one. It would lock out whatever toon assigned to that house from being able to be played.
However the concept itself, with the moneybag banks like a new kind of field office I think is interesting. I know they were planning legal eagle ones in the old TTO days, as we can see the files for the Eagle ones I think.... IDK if any reconstructions of the mechanics are fan made or taken from tto code so I won't say how much was in development there. But like, I thought i heard that Moneybags and Corporate Raiders would have been the likely Bossbot and cashbot equivalents (not 100% on CRs but I knwo I've heard moneybags before).
My dream did not show the gameplay specifics inside the banks. I think it would have if I didn't wake up, but oh well. What do you think it would be like, gameplay wise? I'd love to hear ideas if any come to mind; I've never given a lot of thought to this personally but I thought my dream would bring interesting conversation.
Anyways thanks for reading.

Question Are the Promotion Multipliers still a thing at Cartoonival? Or is it just the Gag XP now?
See title?

Was Shockley (Former TTR team member) Freckleslam?
Hello, making a post in here as someone seeking out the truth behind the story of Freckleslam. I've spent the last few days researching the subject and for nearly a decade there has been a rumour that CFSWorks, Shockley, who was once magic cat was ALSO Freckleslam.
This has been floated around in several posts and forums I've found where the story is essentially 'the person who popularized hacking in toontown was the same to bring it to an end'. It's an interesting story, but I've found people claiming that they were told that freckleslam was shockley, and also people claim that they were told they weren't.
Has there ever been a concrete statement anywhere? I find the lore and urban legend of freckeslam to be a really interesting part of toon town's history.
On this note, I noticed they're not active on reddit or on mmo central forums so I'm not sure if there is a way to ask them directly.
