What is this food? Does anyone remember these almost-black chocolate walnut/pecan cookies sold at Big Lots in the early 2000s?
I’m trying to identify cookies my family used to buy at Big Lots in California (although I’m sure they were in other states), during the early 2000s.
They were sold there for YEARS, and I haven’t been able to find anything like them since.
Here’s what I remember:
The cookies were round, slightly bumpy, and crunchy.
They were extremely dark, almost BLACK like Oreos, and chocolate throughout.
They contained pieces of walnuts or pecans mixed into the dough.
They were actual cookies, NOT wafers, sandwich cookies, or chocolate-chip cookies.
They came in a cardboard box with a completely plain silver metallic bag inside.
The cookies were loose inside the bag, not stacked or individually wrapped.
They were sold in the regular cookie aisle at Big Lots.
I’ve searched for years and would love to find the original brand or even a picture of the box.
Does anyone remember these?

What is this food? Can someone tell me what this seasoning is??
My dad and I went to this Chinese fried chicken place a couple years ago and it was served along side these packets of red seasoning. I didn’t order fried chicken so I didn’t get to taste it but it smelled kinda like mala? The color was the same as like paprika or just generally red. I would go back to the chicken place to actually find what it was but it shut down a while back.
He’s been looking for this seasoning for a while and I thought I might as well help. If anyone knows the name and where I can find it, it would be a huge help!

Solved! What is this Chinese fried snack?
The label on the package says "deep fried savoury triangles". Aside from not being triangles it doesn't explain much. The texture on the inside is similar to mochi with [what I assume is] pork in the center. I love these things and would really like to know what they're called.

Solved! Biscuit my friend gave me with milk
They came in different cool shapes (illustrations?) but all rectangle-ish, only have one pic though. They were really tasty, spiced with something. I'm honestly so bad at describing flavors so I have no idea what they tasted like. Honestly I'm not very optimistic about this

Solved! Can anyone identify this candy?
I got it at a hot pot restaurant in Toronto. The candy is hoop shaped either way bumps, like a bumpy life saver. The flavour is best described as orange mint

What is this food? Chicken chips from years ago, before the protein craze
There's all kinds of "protein chips" now, but there was one like 5+ years ago that I used to pick up all the time. I remember them being made with chicken, and the only place I ever saw them was the single Plaid Pantry gas station in Seattle.
I was addicted to a buffalo flavor they had, and have no idea if they still exist.

Solved! Need help identifying a viral dessert recipe from a few years ago
My coworker and I both remember what we thought was a “milk bar pie” recipe that was very popular on Tiktok around Thanksgiving maybe 2-4 years ago. However I googled the famous Milk Bar Pie and it is most definitely NOT that.
The mystery dessert in question went viral for being complicated to make, with many different ingredients and a lot of steps. But the general notion was that this dessert was so delicious that it was well worth the work, especially for a special occasion like Thanksgiving.
I remember it having a chocolate ganache, some sort of white topping like a whipped cream or merengue, maybe peanut butter? And maybe a cookie crust or something like that.

I would really like to know the name of that green fruit that looks like it's clenching its cheeks.
I can see it in my mind's eye and it's very frustrating.
Does anyone know what I mean??

What is this food? What bread is this
My friends and I went hiking and a wonderful Asian family shared some of their food with us and they gave us this delicious bread. It tasted and smell like pizza. It had corn, ham, carrots, cheese and peppers in it. They said they got it from a bakery, the bread was so soft, doughy, and Chewy, but it was fully cooked. I mentioned them being Asian in case it might be an Asian bread or cuisine. But I have never seen or tasted this before and it’s been on my mind for months please help!

What is this food? chinese green pea flavored crackers (image looks similar but is not the same product)
i'm trying to find a snack cracker that my chinese friend used to give me. it came in a single serving packet of 4 or so crackers, the packet itself was green or possibly green and cream colored. the crackers had scalloped edges like the image and little green bits of crunchy pea baked in. the flavor was mild with the taste of roasted peas. while they looked similar to the green onion crackers in the image there was no onion flavor.

What is this food? Rice dish with crispy bottom
I went to a pan Asian restaurant so I’m looking for the name of this dish. It was chicken a sauce but essentially the soft rice got crispy on the bottom of the dish and I want to know what to ask for. Are there different cuisines that do similar things? I don’t know particularly which culture it was from so if there’s a few different names for it I’d love to know.

What is this food? What is this melon I ate in Istanbul at the beginning of September?
Hi,
This is the most amazing melon I have ever tasted in my life and I have not stopped thinking about it.
Can anyone tell me what this local melon in Istanbul might be?
