Discussion Vic ending is not even terrible Spoiler

Hello

i saw the show a lot of years ago (i was a teen and im 25 now), and i had in mind a terrible and depressing ending, a pure corporate hell for our favorite corrupted cop who loves action, one of the most sad ending in my memories i ever seen

but, after a rewatch (ended just right now) ... it's kinda ok, 3 years for a corporate bullshit work, 65K years, no more hardcore anxiety, just a boring work, it's crazy how i would LOVE to have all that lmao

i don't know if it's because the context is different, or if it's because i got older and it's a fucking nightmare for finding a job in my field, but yeah, i find that situation kinda chill

i don't know if someone else feel the same way, just wanted to share that feeling i just got now, like yes, it's another "prison", losing everything, family and all the life style he had, but it's not terrible as i remembered.. he can restart everything, and paying 3 years, in a chill paid job seems pure victory, the real loss is the guilt of selling ronnie for no reasons (after the shane suicide) and the betrayal of Corinne

btw the rewatch made me love the show way more, one of my favorite of all time, hope the community is still active

If you had an opportunity to meet Michael Chiklis, David Rees Snell, Kenny Johnson and Walton Goggins. 'The Strike Team!' How would it go? For me, I'd be so nervous. Or 98% excited and 2% nervous. IDK! I'd probably gush all over David. I have a crush on him. I'd probably get into a fight with Walton! LOL! JK! Loved him on Justified. I actually saw Justified before The Shield. Anyways! Michael's the nicest guy. He could get along with anyone. Kenny's a good guy. He never would've burned the money. LOL!
