The Last Jedi Would Rey Skywalker have survived the clone wars?
If she had been Anakin's age how would she have faired in the clone wars? I have a bad feeling she wouldnt have made it.

So I was just looking at some of the comments in the main Star Wars subreddit, r/StarWars, and I am surprised, no, actually pretty shocked, that people are STILL criticizing the Star Wars Sequel Trilogy nearly 7 years after it concluded. I totally understand that differences of opinions exist, but this is exactly why the Star Wars fanbase online gets a bad rap, for almost never meeting certain things halfway. They act like things are either truly great or the worst ever. And because the Sequel Trilogy didn’t exactly meet their own expectations, they still continuously act like they are bad, despite the nature of how people treat heavily criticized movies over the passage of time. If the Star Wars fans are mature enough to accept the fact that people do genuinely like them and don’t agree with their criticisms, I hope we all can have an easier time coming to terms with them as they were made. I don’t believe that any film or series deserves to be endlessly criticized forever. Do you really think that the exact same criticisms and complaints and grievances should be harped on for all eternity without nuanced discussions? Maybe if you learned to embrace movies like them for what they are we wouldn’t be having such heated debates in them? Just something to think about. Let me know exactly what we can do to encourage more healthy discussions on them.

Every time one of these new issues drops, Hux is getting ever so closer to calling up the Resistance to put a stop to his constant humiliations at the hands of Kylo and now Pryde. Unfortunately we don't get to see Kylo's reaction to Hux being out on the field, might be the only time we'd ever get a genuine smile out of him.

As it's been already a year since Adam Driver dropped a huge reveal, I wanted to take a moment to reflect on it.
I'm not going to go into territory how ridiculous was the decision by Disney to axe this film, because we all know that. The fact that Adam Driver, Steven Soderbergh and Lucasfilm had a vision with ready script, some concept art and we're ready to shot this movie about Ben's return, likely going heavily into mysticism of the Force sounds amazing...
I wanted to focus more on some positive aspects that came out of this news, to give a bit of hope...
First of all it's lovely to see Sequel Trilogy fans being more present and bolder on the Internet. Their voice has been present all over the Sequel Era related videos & posts, especially on official SW pages this past year. Heartwarming to see people standing up for their favorite characters and by that giving a clear message to the world that we need more stories with these characters.
Second, there is no way now that Lucasfilm or Disney could doubt the popularity of Ben's or Rey's character with all the fan campaigns going around to this day. Funny that the news itself created more movement on the Internet with bigger press coverage than the new SW movie that released this year. Same goes for The Love Hypothesis movie, based on the dynamic of Ben and Rey :D
Lastly, hopefully the project isn't really gone and some behind the scenes talks for bringing it back are happening. If not in the original form then perhaps with overall story bits for the next SW trilogy. Interestingly Adam Driver didn't say anything about THFBS since his interview with AP and Steven Soderbergh last commented the matter in April, quiet since.
For me Kylo/Ben & Rey's dynamic was the heart of Sequel Trilogy and honestly, knowing now that THFBS was suppose to happen I can't imagine future SW stories after Episode IX without Ben Solo...

I 💛 Rey!!! ✨
I recently rewatched the sequels and it brought up a lot of emotions & love I have for the character. I started getting into Star Wars when Ahsoka was introduced. But I think when it really clicked was when I got to see Rey. She’s a main character who didn’t think she was special, yet becomes a hero. She’s strong and powerful and I looked up to her. My dad handmade me a Rey cosplay when I was 15 & when I was 17 he painted me this Rey painting for me (I still have it in my bedroom☺️)!
Love you forever Rey💛

I came across this post on Instagram and was really touched by this fan's story about what Rey means to her. With her permission, I'm sharing it here because I think it's a lovely reminder of how much a character can mean to someone and that these stories matter.
Whatever our favorite characters or films might be, I think there's something special about seeing people find meaning, inspiration, and happiness in the stories they love... especially when its ST related lol.
Thank you for sharing your story with us! If you'd like to show your appreciation, feel free to leave some kind words on her original post as well!

So I know the new Rey movie is going to be about her being a master and having her own academy. I think thats ok but now that Rey is the face of Star Wars why not start giving us prequels instead so we can see Rey as a child barely controlling her force powers. Kind of like Anakin in episode 1, 2 and 3.

so for me its just that theres a new star wars movie coming out soon i guess.

Hello All!
The quest for a Fall banner is finally complete. u/OutrageousShare9693 was kind enough to create this lovely piece of artwork to compliment the new sub icon (btw they are taking commissions)! Rey and BB-8 are (after a grueling and chaotic training session no doubt) taking in the changing leaves and rolling mountain ridges of Ajan Kloss during the fall. I think their pixel style is really unique and creates a really cool vibe for the sub!

And they were kind enough to make a mobile variant as well!

Thanks to u/OutrageousShare9693 once again for creating this amazing artwork, and please let me know if you all enjoy this seasonal theming idea! As I said before, its something I'd like to play with for Fall and Winter as well. Thanks for reading and may the force be with you!

Source: Preview for next week's The Fall of Kylo Ren #3
Between being betrayed and abandoned by Kylo in Legacy of Vader and the way Kylo essentially tortures them here it's no wonder why they showed up on Exegol solely to whoop him.

To be clear, I was not a day one Reylo shipper. I'm not really a fan of a lot of the fandom content around Reylo either. By that I mean the bajillion AUs etc lol--I like my fics firmly rooted in canon. Also (NSFW)I'm not a fan of the smut fics that are hardcore pushing Kylo/Ben as some brooding dominant force and Rey as a victim/submissive. It really bothers me as a #1 Rey fan to see her character reduced to that.
I've felt compelled to start writing my own Reylo fics just so that I can explore the relationship and characters myself. Which has got me thinking about it in general.
Canonically, Reylo is pretty tragic.
They start off as enemies in TFA. They form an emotional bond in TLJ but Kylo refuses to join Rey in the light. It's only until Leia reaches out toward him in TROS and Rey admits that she wanted to be with him as Ben that he realizes he has people who care for him.
By then it's pretty much too late. He helps Rey defeat Palpatine and saves her life, sacrificing himself in the process. They only really connect as equals during the duel against Palps and in the direct aftermath. They get one kiss, one smile, one moment, and then Ben dies.
Pretty brutal considering they are literally soulmates. I feel so bad for Rey, too. She spent over a year wrestling with this connection and once Ben finally joins her side, he's gone again.
I didn't dislike Bendemption nor his death. I know a lot of people wanted him to survive and live in exile or something but I don't think that would've happened tbh. If he survived he would've had to go on trial and either die anyway or spend his life in space super-max prison. The galaxy wouldn't give him a free pass because he switched sides at the very end. I don't think Rey would harbor a fugitive and stay on the run for the rest of her life with him either. There's no escaping the consequences of his actions, and in the end his death was the easiest solution both in-universe and from a storytelling standpoint.
So what does that imply for Rey post-TROS? I really hope future movies/material explores this because it carries huge implications.
I've seen many Reylos lament that Rey will be carrying this wound forever, that she will be missing her other half in the Force. Is that necessarily true? What do you guys think? The idea of my favorite character being depressed the rest of her life is something I don't like to entertain lol.
My personal theory is that maybe because of the dyad, Rey and Ben can interact easier even in the afterlife. If their connection was super strong while alive, who's to say it can't also be strong even after death? I think their Force bond persisting after death is a lovely symbolic message too.
IMO Rey either never falls in love with someone else and simply communicates to Ben through the Force (the implication here being that it's strong enough to fulfill her emotional needs!) or she does have future romantic partners but preserves a friendship with Ben, and his presence is still a big part of her life.
