Discussion Just finished the game, question about the ending Spoiler
Just finished the true ending and after going through the epilogue and thinking back on the story, how is the ending not just a time paradox?
So faie was sent back by future elliot to help past elliot defeat demise, but the only reason elliot is alive in the first place is cause of faie? She was the one that revived elliot after kaifried killed him during the first encounter, so without faie there would be no elliot in the first place.
So how is future elliot alive in order to send faie back to the past when he didn't have his own faie to save him? Its not another timeline cause this game has already shown that everything that happens is in 1 timeline (i.e. carter's grave vanishing when elliot intervened in the past).
I know I probably shouldn't bother reading too deep into a time travel story but I was just curious if I was missing something.

Discussion I love my daughter, but I miss my wife.
Fae is great. I love her. I would kill for her.
But I miss Hueria's narration. Is there any way to get her back?

First Impressions My only gripe about this game
I find it really wierd that the princess keeps on talking and making quips throughout the overworld journey but elliot does not response. It would be way more immersive for me if elliot had some reply lines.

Question Suggestions?
Hi everyone so I really love this game played it a lot on my ps5 but have decided to pick it up on my steam deck oled cause I prefer playing handheld. If any of you have also played it on the steam deck what are your specs? For example i locked the gane to 45fps(90hz) and put the in game settings to low with the 3d res at a 100% and put the steam line blur to sharp lvl 5 so far it works perfectly well at 45fps and looks good too so just wondering if anyone has any other advice or if anyone perhaps knows of better specs to make the game run good and look good ty
P.s. I know the pc port is not the best but still it feels amazing on the steam deck :)

Review It's done.
The game was good, but it definitely felt I was pushing thru the last 6-8 hours. I understood why the map couldn't change as a whole, but over 1000 years - you'd expect different terrain and layouts aside from the human city.
It definitely felt repetitive- same dungeons over and over but the gameplay mechanics itself was what kept me going. The story was decent, definitely had its great moments But most of what I was doing became predictable before the climax. Overall - 7/10.

Question Switch 2 or steam deck
I’m buying the ocorina Zelda console and I plan on buying Elliot for it, since I’ve already played a lot of similar games (entire octopath series and triangle strategy’s) but I’m wondering is it better to buy it on switch and get the bonus items from zero and triangle or just go steam deck and ignore the game key card.
Thx for answering

First Impressions The True Ending was an amazing experience that elevated the game to an higher level
Nothing but love for this game. After the normal ending, I thought to myself, “That was a really great game. A good Zelda-ALttP-style game, it was fun.” But the game had already hinted to me that this wasn’t the real ending, so I reloaded my save and went for the True Ending - and holy shit, the game really takes it up a notch there, elevating it from “good” to “fantastic!”
I got goosebumps several times when all the plot points - some of which I didn’t initially realized are that important, or have already forgotten by the end - suddenly came together and revealed the true picture. From the lines and cutscenes I had a pretty good idea about who that apparently generic evil Sorcerer really was, but then I went on and the actual reveal was mindblowing for me. A saw a few things coming, but not all of it. Especially not that the little Girl from that family I was helping over multiple time areas was actually my own mother.
But then the game didn't stopped there. Just as I thought "okay, but now it's over" it threw me back into the game and I suddenly had a new Storyline to follow which turned out more amazing by the minute with the villagers and the cats coming together for a Genkidama moment and an amazing new bossfights at the end, flying on a giant Phoenix while shooting at an evil Dragon. Holy shit, what a glorious moment and epic fight that was.
When the credits finally came to an end I was speechless and hyped. If you're going to pick up that game or if you're currently playing it, make sure to really go for the True Ending as the experience is so much better than when you just settle for 'normal'.

Question I just started and already hate it
“Look Elliot a treasure chest!”
YES I SEE THE TREASURE CHEST. Is this game going to stay like this? Because I feel like tearing out my toenails.
If it’s going to stay like this I’m not going to play any further.

First Impressions Finally able to purchase adventures of elliot!
I downloaded and played through the demos on both the switch 2 and ps portal a month or so ago but I couldn't afford the full price so I've been impatiently waiting for a sale on the PlayStation store.
Well today is the day ladies and gentlemen. It's downloaded now and I'm excited to play it after work.

Help HELP: triggering a scene for the true ending Spoiler
I followed Mao after she wakes up from being sick all the way to her house in the Age of Reconstruction and I'm supposed to be prompted to go back to Age of Safekeeping. Somehow this hasn't happened? Any one know where exactly I'm supposed to go?

Discussion Need atleast 6 accessory slot in the game
Game has many fun accesories including the deluxe ones but the slots are not enough to make use of them more enjoyable
