Does anyone have any recommendations for someone that does anodizing near Collin County. I’m just trying to expedite the process if possible so I can avoid shipping time back and forth. I have a lower that’s down to bare aluminum and hate to waste time painting it just for it to scratch off.

Can someone advise me on how to sell my Canik Prime Radian? I’ve posted it on Tacswap, but get mostly lowballers and ridiculous trade offers. Is Consignment a better option? I’ve also read a few times where buyers and sellers got scammed on Tacswap. Any advice?

I’m 28 and live in ATX. I’m looking to buy my first firearm and have a few questions for people with experience.
● Where’s a good place to buy a handgun without getting overcharged?
● Do I need a license to purchase one in Texas? Already have DL
● Would you recommend taking a firearm safety class before buying one?
● Are there ranges where I could rent a handgun and try shooting with proper guidance before deciding which one to buy?
● What’s the average price for a decent beginner handgun?
I haven’t used a firearm since I was a kid, and I honestly don’t remember much, so I’d like to learn the basics and make sure I’m handling one safely before making a purchase.

Does anybody know where I can list my Glock 20 for sale without having to pay to post the listing? I remember back in the day you could just post for free but it's been a while since I tried to sell one of my guns

Hi gang, looking to sell a couple of high-end 2011s (Infinity, Cabot) and don't think Texasguntrader is the best route. Does anyone know of local shops that do consignment or other venues that would be good for these postings?

How long until I can walk into a gunshow and pay cash for a private-sale suppressor with zero paperwork?

“Effective October 9, 2026, the ATF will no longer enforce prior-approval (Form 1 and Form 4), registration, or tax-stamp requirements for individuals making or transferring short-barreled rifles (SBRs), short-barreled shotguns (SBSs), suppressors, and certain "any other weapons" (AOWs) under the National Firearms Act (NFA).”

Whew, just got surprised with a $40 transfer fee from Boss Firearms. About to order a cheap little .22 who isn't gouging in BCS? I'm used to $20-25

Hello yall, I’m active duty navy currently in San Diego, I’ll be home for Christmas and just saw the DOJ decision on the ban for 18-20 yo’s purchasing handguns from FFL’s, I’m looking to pick something up when I’m home and would like the ease of an FFL instead of a private sale, but all the shops I’ve called have said they’re not selling to under 21 yet. Does anyone have any insight into how long until we see the effects of the DOJ ruling in Texas or whether we will see anything at all?

Hi everyone, just curious.
I am interested in buying a Gun, one that I have had a hard time finding anywhere around me bit have found a couple on TGT. Issue is that I live across the country.
Are there any people willing to ship items to verified FFL's near me? How do I ask without coming across like a scammer, something that I'm sure happens pretty often.

This revolver looks mighty impressive, seems to be getting good marks from reviewers apart from usual S&W wheelgun QC chicanery... anyone seen it for rental at any ranges in the area?

I submitted my Under-21 background check on September 17, and today (October 1) is business day 10. I stopped by my store in person today, and my check is still showing in an open "Delayed" status. My FFL dealer strictly requires an explicit "Proceed" in their system before they can release a firearm, so the 10-day Brady transfer rule doesn't apply in my case. For anyone else who has gone past the 10-business-day mark on an under-21 check recently, how much longer did you end up waiting for your status to clear? Have you had one take even longer than this, and did your status update mid-week or over a weekend?

Breaking in the PSA 15 this weekend.
Loving the Zastava.
How are y’all liking these?

Anyone know of FFLs north of Houston doing suppressor transfers with just 4473? Couple of places I normally go are still "waiting on official guidance"....

To make a long story short - my father passed away and I inherited the firearms he possessed. I intend on keeping all but one. I don’t know much about firearms to begin with, but I surely don’t know how to go about selling the one I want to part with. I want to make sure everything I do is legal while also not being ripped off because I am a woman with limited firearm knowledge ): Can anyone point me in the right direction or give me some general advice?

Hey guys, just wanted to get some feedback and hear your opinions.
My first handgun, when the time comes, will be after I turn 21+. I’m currently 19, and I’m pretty sure I want to go with a Glock. I’ve been looking at the Glock 17 Gen 6 and Glock 19 Gen 6, and the main thing I’m debating is which one would be better for me.
The Glock 17 holds 17 rounds in the magazine, while the Glock 19 holds 15 rounds. I’m planning on eventually carrying my handgun concealed, so I’m wondering how much the difference in size between the two actually affects concealment and comfort.
I don’t want to sacrifice too much size just for a couple of extra rounds. To me, if I’m carrying a handgun, the most important thing is being accurate and making every shot count. At the same time, I understand that real-life situations can be unpredictable, and having those extra rounds could potentially make a difference.
I know I can always carry an extra magazine, so I’m mainly interested in hearing from people who have actually owned or carried a Glock 17 or Glock 19.
For those who own or have owned a Glock 17 or Glock 19 Gen 6:
How has your experience been?
How comfortable is it to conceal carry?
Do you notice a significant difference in size/weight between the two?
Which one did you choose and why?
On a scale of 0–10, how would you rate yours?
I’d appreciate hearing both positive and negative experiences. Thanks!

Hello, this message is for “We The People” — Second Amendment supporters, firearms owners, and future firearms owners.
I don’t currently own any firearms. I’m 19 years old, and I simply wanted to share my opinions, thoughts, and concerns while spreading awareness and positivity.
As Americans, we have constitutional rights, including the Second Amendment — the right of the people to keep and bear arms. Many of us view this right as an important part of our freedom and our ability to protect ourselves, our families, and our communities.
I believe we should stand together and make our voices heard. We must speak up, show up, participate in our communities, vote, and support organizations and associations that advocate for the rights we believe in.
I unfortunately live in Illinois, where I feel that my Second Amendment rights have been heavily restricted and challenged. But this is something that can affect people in any state. Laws and policies can change, and protecting constitutional rights requires citizens to remain informed and engaged.
Whether you currently own a firearm, are interested in becoming a firearm owner someday, or simply believe in protecting constitutional rights, your voice matters.
Let’s stand together peacefully, stay informed, participate in the political process, and work to preserve our freedoms—not only for ourselves, but also for those who come after us.
We The People. 🇺🇸
Our rights. Our freedom. Our future.
