PED/cycle help Testosterone Docs or “consultants” that let you get big?

I’m curious if anyone knows of any clinics out there where the providers literal goal is to help you get big? That may sound stupid, but I know a lot of doctors only want to take you to a point where you are on “true TRT”, getting your numbers to ”normal”. And I get it, that’s totally cool. But can anyone suggest any clinics that #1, really know their shit and #2, will help you get big?

I know I can go to a hand full of online clinics and they’ll prescribe me 200mg/wk like they do everyone, but I’m worried about how “hands off” they have a reputation of being. I looked into Nick Trigili, and I know that’s a sensitive topic because he’s either loved or hated. But the reviews are so hit or miss. And I looked into Marek, and I’m finding a ton of concerning reviews there.

I don’t want to get into the whole discussion of “testosterone vs TRT” or anything like that. I get that getting big isn’t TRT. I am not looking to do any illegal or unethical. Just looking for a doctor who can and would want to get me where I want to be.

I wish my testosterone knowledge was up there enough to where I could figure it out myself. And I’m trying to get there. But I don’t know who else to ask except you guys. And if anyone knows, you guys will know.

TRT story For those healthy who want to stop trt

• Upvotes

I was on steroids for 4 years in total. The first 2 years I was using test plus a mix of other compounds then I spent another 2 years on test alone.

Eventually I decided to stop. I was tired of pinning myself and started asking myself what's the point? I was healthy to begin with and at this stage it just felt like a bad habit. Im no longer interested in looking big and shredded and there is more to life.

When I stopped I tried using nolva but it gave me terrible anxiety panic attacks and even weird stomach cramps I tried clomid same thing. I lasted around 4 weeks before deciding to go cold turkey.

And damn this was bad....

I had no energy and basically no libido. Psychologically I actually felt pretty good and mentally sound, but physically I was wrecked. By 5 or 6 pm I was done. I'd just lie on the couch and watch series because I had no energy to do anything else.

I started taking some adaptogens and supplements like ashwagandha, medicinal mushrooms, ZMA and vitamin D in higher doses. They seemed to help somewhat, but over the next 2 to 3 months I started feeling all the old injuries and pains in my body start appearing.

I did blood tests around 3 month mark after stopping and my testosterone was 21 nmol/L, which is actually a pretty decent level. Before I started using steroids my testosterone was over 30 nmol/L

I remember noticing a shift around 4-5 month mark when my natural hormones started preperly functioning again. I just felt more energetic and happier. It's difficult to explain, but I feel very different now compared to when I was on testosterone. One thing I actually notice how my body reacts to season changes I been off for almost 2 years now and I feel in sync its like when its cold or hot my body regulates temperature a lot more efficient while on trt I couldnt properly feel my body and also my morning erections have returned while on trt I didnt had mornign wood which is insane. Also wakign up erlier is easier while on test I was grogy in the morning my mood was super off and biggest diffrence I notice when using PED I would get random flu's like every so often compare to now I havent been ill since I stopped.

On trt my testosterone was around 29 to 35 nmol/L with lower estrogen. Now my testosterone is in a similar range to what I had on trt lower than 35 tho but my estrogen is higher and I feel so much better with that.

My libido is better, I sleep better and I finally dream again. When I was on test it was like a blank, blank life. I barely remembered any dreams and even sex wasn't as enjoyable as it is now naturally.

Another thing I started doing when I came off testosterone was yoga, and I genuinely think it helped me a lot.

I feel like the combination of stretches, breathing properly and reducing stress helped me recover faster. Yoga isn't just about stretching. You're working with your nervous system as well and I think that made a big difference for me.

There are actually studies looking at how yoga affects stress hormones and the bodys stress response. Yoga, breathing exercises and meditation can help regulate the autonomic nervous system and the hypothalamic pituitary adrenal axis, which is involved in the body's response to stress.

Looking back Im glad I made the decision to come off. It wasn't easy and the first few months were rough but I'm in a much better place now.

Blood work 7 week labs seem ok so far

Warning: if you are sensitive to Ai text, this post isn’t for you.

So I got my 7 week from starting trt labs back and ran them through ai to get an idea of where I’m at. From what it says, they seem ok and just wanted to get a view from you guys of how they look.

What isn’t shown here is cholesterol which has shot up to 220 although hdl is good at 45 and bp is good at 11/7 avg.

Overall I feel good, the mental clarity is great, workouts are good, motivation is better but not as good as I hoped, am noticing body recomp with some water retention and I do have a few more aches and pains.

Edit: baseline number is week before first trt dose

“By correcting the units to standard US measurements (ng/mL instead of nmol/L), your total testosterone changes from borderline low to an excellent, fully optimized peak/stable level.
Reviewing your complete labs with the corrected units provides a comprehensive metabolic and hormonal profile:

1. Corrected Testosterone & SHBG Dynamics
Total Testosterone (12.1 ng/mL, baseline 5.3): This is equivalent to 1,210 ng/dL. For a trough reading on a 3x-a-week injection schedule, this is highly optimal. It indicates that your protocol keeps your circulating testosterone robustly elevated at a high-normal level without severe drops.[1, 2]

SHBG (33.3 nmol/L, baseline 47.9): This is a healthy value for an adult male. It ensures that testosterone is transported effectively through your bloodstream without clearing too rapidly.

Free Testosterone (42.9 pg/mL, baseline 18.8): This level represents a solid, physiological amount of active, unbound hormone available to your tissues. [1]

2. Metabolic Efficiency & Insulin Function
Fasting Insulin (6.7 mcU/mL): This indicates that your pancreas operates efficiently, requiring very little baseline insulin to manage your blood sugar.

HOMA-IR (1.3): This score confirms excellent insulin sensitivity. Any calculation under 1.9 means your body processes glucose efficiently. This aligns with your 12-hour fasting lab glucose of 80 mg/dL, showing that your TRT dose is supporting, rather than disrupting, your metabolic health. [1, 2, 3]

3. Estrogen Control
Estradiol (27 pg/mL, baseline 22): This is an optimal, well-controlled level. Keeping estradiol in the mid-20s to low-30s while maintaining a total testosterone of 1,210 ng/dL represents an excellent androgen-to-estrogen ratio. This minimizes risks of water retention, mood swings, or gynecomastia.
Your micro-dosing protocol (3x a week) is working exactly as intended by providing stable, high-normal male hormone parameters while preserving excellent metabolic health.”

TRT help Need Help with TRT Protocol Injection Frequency - SHBG and HCG

• Upvotes

I’ve been on TRT for a little over five years now. Never really “dialed in”, my libido has never quite been right since starting. I recently added HCG three weeks ago in hopes of restoring libido. My SHBG has always been on the lower side, and recently has gone below the “normal” reference range. Estradiol is always mid-lower normal. I get bloodwork done monthly. I am currently on test cyp, 100mg split into two weekly doses and 700IU HCG split into two weekly doses, the same day as the test shot. Test is IM, HCG is subq. Have been feeling much more lethargic and weak since starting HCG. Wondering if the higher dose of twice weekly is contributing to this, or if my body is still getting accustomed.

Current Protocol:
Test Cyp: 100mg/week IM (50mg Monday, 50mg Friday)
HCG: 700IU/week Subq (350IU Monday, 350IU Friday)

Contemplating Protocol:
Test Cyp: 100mg/week IM (14mg daily)
HCG: 700IU/week Subq (100IU daily)

Current labs (drawn Friday morning prior to Test/HCG injection, trough):
Testosterone: 459 (264-916 ng/dL)
Free Testosterone: 15.9 (8.7-25.1 pg/mL)
RBC: 5.67 (4.14-5.80 10*6/uL)
Hemoglobin: 14.7 (13.0-17.7 g/dL)
Hematocrit: 46.2 (37.5-51.0%)
SHBG: 14.3 (16.5-55.9 nmol/L)
Prolactin: 8.1 (4.04-15.2 ng/mL)
Estradiol, Sensitive: 19.7 (8.0-35.0 pg/mL)

My question is do you think going to daily injections on both the test and HCG would be beneficial in my case? Would SHBG drop more than it is now by switching to daily, or will it still be okay? Any insight is greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance!

TRT help HCG Monotherapy low libido

• Upvotes

Background: I'm on 2x1000iu HCG weekly since 4 months ago due to intent to have another child before i start TRT

I was 8.5nmol/l for 3+ years at 32 years old.

I'm also on Reta since July 1st and went from 96 to 87 kilos at 175cm

These are the latest results:

I haven't had a morning or daytime spontaneous wood in months, 2-3 weeks upon starting HCG seemed to improve the status, but I'm now very low libido, barely tryin to initiate with my wife even though I miss it. It's making me mad as I feel that lack of libido spreads across other aspects of my life. No need to say that I haven't had spontaneous erections for years before HCG. Thankfully I never had issues achieving erection when needed.

Has anyone had simmilar issues even on TRT/HCG?

Blood work Unexplainable loss of libido

• Upvotes

Starting 3 months ago, I no longer fantasize about sex, dont get turned on by looking at hot girls (can still tell when they are hot though.) previously I would get very hard and horny just by looking at a hot girl for 3 seconds.

i did notice that when a girl talks to me in a seductive way, I can get hard and a little horny. other than that, nothing. im 22, 577 total test, 147 free test. No supplements or drugs. No porn or masturbation. no Instagram thirst traps / over exposure

I don’t know what’s going on, it’s unbelievable. Why dont I feel anything when looking at A girl anymore? I’m not gay or asexual. Shits driving me crazy

Blood work 29M with testosterone at 1.7 nmol/L – GP referring me to endocrinology. Anyone had similar results?

Hi everyone,

I’m 29M in the UK and have recently had blood tests done after experiencing very severe fatigue.

My testosterone has come back at 1.7 nmol/L (roughly 49 ng/dL), which my GP has confirmed is very low.

I had an appointment with my GP today. She examined my testicles and said they felt normal, which was reassuring. She also performed a confrontation visual field test, checking my peripheral vision with her fingers.

I’ve had further blood tests to investigate whether the hormonal signals from my brain to my testicles are working properly, and I’m being referred to an endocrinologist. My GP said treatment would likely be discussed with the specialist.

I’m obviously a bit anxious about what could be causing such a low result, particularly given the eye test, but I’m trying not to jump to conclusions before the additional blood results come back.

I’d really appreciate hearing from anyone who’s experienced something similar.

A few questions:
Has anyone had testosterone levels this low and subsequently found a treatable cause?

If LH and FSH are low, what did your investigations involve?

Did anyone have a similar experience with the GP checking their peripheral vision?

How long did it take to see an endocrinologist on the NHS, and what happened at your first appointment?

TRT help Is the goal to NEVER have to use a ai?

So I'm considering getting on TRT after New yrs so I've been doing my due diligence in research basically all yr.

But one thing that still confuses me. Use of the ai... Some say you NEVER need it if you dose reasonably & not TRT + lvls. Others say it is necessary as long as you don't take it too far... Others say only use it as an absolute last option.

In an optimum/ realistic TRT protocol... is the goal to NEVER have to use a ai ??

Is using an ai a "mark" of pushing your body super physiological ??

Also, how exactly do you know to use an ai BESIDES blood work??

PED/cycle help How to bale on a blast due to health issues? + low e2.

How do you guys bale on a blast when health complications arrise? Do you taper the dose or drop straight to maintenence doses/trt?

I am only on week 2 of my blast but got an echo done and I dont think I should be blasting for another few months (just test at the moment, everything was clear but I was hospitalized and I dont want to risk anymore issues that can come with superphysiological doses for now, i can always blast in the future.

Also on another note,

Im a very low aromatizer, a 3x weekly pin frequency puts my e2 so low that it can't be read on the test, should I be injecting less frequently for a higher E2 spike?

My low E2 symptoms include:

Dry skin, lethargy, joint pain, extreme depressive thoughts and low libido.

TRT story First week on TRT (35M)

Hey everyone,

Any tips or want to share anything that you wish you knew when you started?

Last week I found out my levels are sf 154. Initially, I went to the doctor to address my brain fog. I felt like I was had alzheimer's. I was always tired. I thought the fatigue was an consequence of too much caffeine and poor diet. I found myself not cooking as much and eating slop. I still worked out, but some days after work I was exhausted. I even switched careers to have a normal mon-friday job, no more night shift. Nevertheless, I was still tired all the time.

So far (I know it's my first week), I feel great. I only had a coffee today. I woke up af 5am to lift before the family woke up.

I wish I would have went in sooner!

Other Is there a reason to hide testosterone use?

I’ve lived with my fiance for 2 years and never knew he took daily testosterone injections. Im not mad that he takes them. I feel really weird about him not telling me.

I’m not seeking relationship advice, but trying to understand the mind of someone taking this. Is there shame?

I found a package of syringes and vials and was really caught off guard since we have 4 kids in the home, and this was in a desk drawer (granted in packaging).

I was concerned about where he was disposing of syringes and why I had never seen an empty vial in the trash.

He told me he only injects at work, so he throws the syringe in a junk car that is about to be crushed and hauled off. He skips his doses on the weekends when he’s off.

We went on a 3 or 4 day camping trip a few months ago and he said he didn’t bring his meds bc he didn’t want to inject in front of the kids. But we picked a campground with indoor showers, bathroom, laundry. We weren’t stuck in our tent. The 6 hour car ride home was absolutely awful and I had no idea why we were fighting but now I’m wondering if his hormones had dipped.

There were so many opportunities for this to come up in conversation. I’m also on meds, missing doses can mess up my mood. I’ve struggled with it a lot. He could’ve sympathized instead of letting me feel alone.

He says that he hasn’t had his levels checked in 2 years. Google says that’s too long, I also know that Google might not tell me what actual real people do. My fiancé has been going on and off of diets also, which makes me wonder if he should be getting checked more often.

He says he was put on it 5 years ago to help him get energy and get out of bed and he can’t get off of it. He said he never told me because he has it under control and it’s not my problem. But then I’d like to be in the know when he plans to skip doses for vacations and weekends, etc.

Is this secretive or normal? Please don’t get mad at me for asking I’m just trying to understand.

Update** I’ve also learned that his testosterone is not FDA approved and he gets it shipped from across the country. I know i could be super ignorant! But why wouldn’t a doctor prescribe an FDA approved if he’s taking a regular dosage?

PED/cycle help Time for AI? Recent blood results.

Hello fellas. I’ve been running a small cycle for a few weeks after coming off reta having lost over 4 stone I thought it was an ideal time to bump my TRT dose up a bit and put done some fresh tissue with a small calories surplus.
I’m taking 300mg of test E per week split into 2 doses. My bloods have come back all in the normal ranges expect a few markers I will list.

72.023 nmol/l test
1.957nmol/l free test

Oestrirol 732.2 pmol/l
Total bilirubin 32.04 umol/l
Luteinsing 0.1 iu/l
Eosinophils 0.6810*9/l

I’m aware my E2 is high but I have no sides I can notice apart from being a grumpy bastard. Still solid in the mornings no nipple puffiness. I’m about 13 stone 15-20 per cent bf vascular arms legs lower abs. Have some loose skin around my upper abs from the 4 stone weight loss. I’m 44.

I’m looking at what to do are where to go from here. On a forum I was told my ratio was 1:10 which is sky high from previous test my E2 has always been on the higher side.

I take 2.5 minoxidil daily.
5mg tadafil daily.
1mg finasteride eod also.

Any advice or opinions would be greatly appreciated.

TRT help Are you lucky or unlucky? Do you have to donate blood or do you get away with not?

I’m barely on month 5-6 of only 100mgs/week and I had to donate at the 3 month mark. I checks my iron stats anfter that and while my circulating levels were fine, my ferritin storage level was in the absolute tank. And I’m already feeling like I might need to donate again barely 6 weeks later. I’m depressed about it TBH. feels like shit with high HCT. Head pressure and dizziness for nearly 48 hours.

IDK if this is for me long term TBH. I’ve been doing lots of reading and it sure seems like some guys are just super unlucky. I just had a skin cancer frozen off today so the hits just keep coming….

Are you in the cycle of donate>low iron>barely raise it back up>donate again?

PED/cycle story To the young guys: What taking testosterone actually feels like (and why it’s not the magic pill social media sells you)

I want to share an experience that I wish I had read before starting testosterone.

Social media has created a crazy hype around it. It promises that you'll become more driven, sharper, feel and look better, or even become more successful, like turning into a completely new man just by raising your levels.

That is simply not how it works. The effects are super subtle, and it is definitely not what was sold to you.

I thought it would make a massive difference in my life and that the tradeoffs would be worth it, but they really weren't.

This isn't a moralizing post saying testosterone is bad. It isn't bad at all, and for people with a genuine clinical deficiency, it’s life-changing.

But for me, someone who started with normal baseline levels—sitting at 2,200 ng/dL feels only subtly different than sitting at 400–500 ng/dL. Only difference: maybe subtle more energy, not noticeable after a few months, little little more libido, and really short tempered.

I’m currently on PCT after 9 months on test, and I feel just like I did when I was natty, and honestly, pretty much the same as when I was on this low cycle.

It’s not a magic pill, and it won't transform you into a different person. It’s just subtle. If your goal is to optimize your life, drive, libido, and success, testosterone alone won't fix anything for you.

Some people might hate on this post. I saw plenty of people writing the exact same thing back then, but I chose to ignore them anyway. I just hope someone reads this today and rethinks whether hopping on will actually do what they think it will.
