Discussion How Much Do You Think They Paid to License This?
This is the first time I’ve seen a Terminator used to advertise something else.

May have been this sub that the figure that reminded me was posted in, if it was Thank you! helped me plug a nostalgia cap I had forgotten about.

New to the group but thought I’d share a custom made T-800 Arm prop I made a few years back just for the fun of it. Made a great shop piece. Made with some PVC, Brass water supply risers, random swivel joints, cap nuts, old shower handles and some steel cable. Would love to see what you all think. It also inspired a tattoo I had done a few
Months after.

James Cameron wants to make a new one (T7) but has stated it won't take the same theme as all the other ones. No Arnold, no Sarah or John Connor or any of that.
What could he possibly do if it doesn't involve a Terminator going into the past trying to kill one of the Connors?
I hope it's going deep into Skynet and how it becomes self aware. And how humans try to pull the plug. I think that would be relevant to the recent AI hype.

My kind of dinner and a movie. (Before you ask what I’m eating that’s bright green, it’s pea soup.)

… does anyone else feel that the T-1000, whilst awesome, was basically over-powered and meant that the series had nowhere really to go after T-2 in terms of escalating the threat from the Terminators?
Again, don’t get me wrong, this is a great film and the two films make a great stand-alone series that didn’t necessarily need a third film. It’s just that if Cameron had wanted a third film there was nowhere to go in terms of introducing a new and more terrifying threat. And so it kind of proved: T-3 had what was basically a T-1000 with some additional gimmicks. And none of the other films have managed to find a Terminator threat that escalates beyond what the T-1000 could do.

I apologize in advance if this has already been discussed before but I fround myself re-watching the franchise and something bothered me, haha Reese was sent from the future by John to protect Sarah right?? soo Reese is from the future - this is already established, he's Johns friend, then he's sent back, sleeps with Sarah and voila John is conceived. Now here's my question - IF the machines hadn't decided to target Sarah and therefore Reese was never sent back to protect her, would John still exist?? and if not then how is he in the future?? Like him & Reese are together in the future but then Reese is killed when he goes back to the past, does that then change things in the future?? I'm sorry I just can't wrap my brain around it all, maybe I'm just thinking about it too logically?? if someone doesn't mind explaining their thoughts/theories on it I'd really appreciate that.

Terminator games have always had questionable quality, but these recent ones have been really great. Resistance immersed me into the atmosphere of the 1st movie and had a good story tied to it, while 2D No Fate was a great run and gun tie-in to the 2nd film. I've replayed 2D multiple times in the various modes and it leaves me wanting more.
What are some other Robot apocalypse games worth playing?

Obviously people were exterminated in the extermination camps, but how exactly did Skynet go about doing this?

I’m looking to go as Arnold in Judgment Day for Halloween, specially with a torn robotic hand with blood and skin showing.
I’ve seen advice online on how to do it, but has anyone done it or similar to a limb (legs would also be totally great)? Just looking for inspiration of what people have actually done.
Thanks in advance!
