Rimuruâs ultimate skill, Great Sage (and later Raphael/Ciel), is actually the missing ego of Veldanava's dead wife, Lucia. When Veldanava and Lucia were killed by a rogue nation, Veldanavaâs soul was scattered, but Lucia's soulâwhich possessed the angelic Ultimate Skill Raphael, Lord of Wisdomâvanished entirely. The light novel suggests that instead of being destroyed, Lucia's core ego fused into her skill and went into hibernation. Years later, when Satoru Mikami died and his soul crossed dimensions, his powerful desire for knowledge acted as a perfect beacon, pulling that specific dormant, wisdom-seeking skill into his new slime body. This explains why Great Sage always possessed a maternal, independent consciousness that actively broke the rules of the universe just to protect Rimuru, and why it eventually evolved into Cielâfusing a divine angelic skill with a deeply human personality

As we can see in the beginning of the episode (2:45), Hinata seems to remember how she was killed in the previous timeline - by the hands of Granville. This means that events happening in the previous timeline and new current timeline are the same. We could say the latest two timelines are basically making a loop. So now we have the current timeline that the anime has been following throughout all seasons, the previous one which is exactly the same and the one before where Rimuru dies in the forest of Jura(failed timeline).
If the two latest timelines are the same, doesn't it mean that Rimuru from the previous timeline (where hinata was killed by Granville) would do the same things as in the timeline of the anime - bringing chloe and hinata back? So why do we need the new exactly the same timeline then? Wouldn't the resurrection just break the loop?
I hope my questions are not too confusing for you guys, if so please let me know. Probably answers for my questions lay in the next seasons. Nevertheless, I don't mind little spoilers đ

I was just rewatching the Sumo OVA (the dream episode), and a couple of things really cracked me up, but also confused me a bit:
Why was everyone so obsessed with putting their head on Shuna's lap (the lap pillow)? Was it just the official prize of the men's tournament ?
Also, why did Garm (and some of the other guys) keep repeating âMy heart belongs to Shuna and Shuna alone !â while acting like total simps ? Is it just standard ridiculous OAD comedy, or did I miss some running joke ?
I found garm very weird and cringe đŤ in the light novel did he try something with shuna ??? Because i really hate him đ
