need opinions
Please disregard the fact that it’s too small for the space and the cords hanging out, but is this the right height for a tv in a bedroom?

I know it‘s a monitor, not a TV, but the monitor in this ad is criminally low.

What do you guys think? She has been saying she thinks it's too low and wants to mount it to the wall.

you have to tilt your chin down to your chest like you are reading a paperback on the subway just to see subtitles. if you sit on the couch your knees literally block the bottom third of the screen. he claims it creates a laid back floor lounge aesthetic but my vertebrae are filing a class action lawsuit.

He has been saying he thinks it's fine but I kinda want to mount it to the wall. I was thinking of lining the middle of the tv with the light switch? Also, if we wanted a soundbar? What do you guys think?
Edit: I am ok to be wrong, I just wanted a fair fight 🙃

So I moved into this apartment and the previous tenant left a TV mount above the fireplace. Great, right? No. My neck was destroyed after a week of watching anything.
I found out the mount just unscrewed from a plate that's bolted into the brick. So I got one of those adjustable mantels stand instead, TV now sits at eye level from the coouch and honestly it looks better too. Landlord never even noticed.
The fireplace mount is still up there holding nothing. Free decoration at this point.
