I've never forgotten this kind of crossover that fans ever wanted for the past years dues to it's Similarities between the Symphogear show and the entire Kamen Rider Franchise like the 913 word between Hibiki's Birthday and Kaixa Number that shared it at the same time. Man this is one of the most best crossovers that fans wanted their wish come true, ABSOLUTE PEAK BTW!

She is beautiful, intelligent, empathetic, kind, sweet, and has good manners. She possesses style, personality, character, and determination; she is strong, skilled in both armed and hand-to-hand combat, and, on top of that, she is a fantastic singer.

Another thing I love about Maria is her voice. Youko Hikasa is, without a doubt, a top-tier voice actress; the way she manages to give Maria a voice that is sweet and warm, yet simultaneously strong and commanding—like that of a mother or an older sister—is truly remarkable. That is the role she plays for Kirika and Shirabe, and I believe she serves a similar function for Hibiki, Chris, and Tsubasa as well. Honestly, I could spend the entire day talking about how much I adore Maria, but I don’t want to go on for too long; I’ll just say that I love her dearly. She is one of those characters so perfect that it almost feels like she shouldn't even exist.

P.S. And one last thing: despite everything I’ve said and how much I love her, Maria—along with Hibiki—is my second favorite character in Symphogear.

Hello everyone! I wanted to share my recent Maria art with you guys. I was inspired by the birthday fairy tale art that came out about a month ago. In it, Maria was The Little Mermaid. I adore The Little Mermaid so I had to draw her as a beautiful mermaid in a way that I felt might suit her and her style. The design is taken from multiple different outfits that Maria wore from the XDU game and from her Agrietlam in season 5 (XV). It's just a sketch right now, but I plan on digitalizing it soon! I'll probably post more art later since I love drawing the Symphogear cast.

I am about to finish the first season and I absolutely love it. Great action and cool weapons also some surprisingly really good character drama. I am very curious to know what the later seasons are like. Are they as good as the original or even better? I am very curious to see what will happen.

Currently at mid S2. And had a question seeing relic, perfect relics and Symphogears. All the pendants looks the same, and I realized that's cuz all of them have Symphogears made from a fragment. But they never mention making or trying to make one from a perfect relic.

You can directly use them, so is that enough? No need to make them a Symphogear.

I thought they did that with Nehushtan in S1, but they was literally an "Armor" itself.

So just wanted to know if that ever gets brought up, perhaps in later seasons or explained.

I'm only saying this almost 2 weeks after I finished it, but I finally watched Season 1. And, while it's probably too early to say if the series lives up to the hype (bc the people i know hyped it to hell, & my standards are probably low), I gotta admit i liked it. So, maybe y'all were right.

I was hesitant to watch it for a good while, esp since the whole Watch Symphogear spam I saw years ago kinda soured me on it. (Hard to work on my backlog of stuff i Want to play, i prefer not being ordered to do smthn)
But a few things that I don't really wanna get into gave me the itch to hop on.

It's kinda hard to separate it from the emotional state I was in when I watched S1 (kinda like Deltarune Chapter 4 for me). Been kinda desperate for some kinda hope.
But I've got a bunch of assorted thoughts that have largely been positive.

So far my favorite Characters are a toss-up between Hibiki, Chris, Genjuro & Kanade. Not really anyone i dislike (aside from getting maybe a bit tired of Yumi's "this isn't an anime" comments after a while. Even then, she did something cool)

Admittedly the Kanade part, kinda pissed me off ngl. But I still really like her. Perfect energy for the kinda characters i like.

Hibiki kinda reminds me of Me when I was in high school, if I was more capable and less of a hypocritical prick. Highkey kinda miss my naivete. That and I like martial arts lol.

Chris was probably the highlight of the whole season. The voice performance had so many different emotions that were conveyed well, & even though i don't normally like tsundere characters, I really vibe with Chris. (That being said, if I were to make a list of struggling characters found by the worst possible person, Chris is pretty high up there.)
That being said, the whole Ichibaru/Ichaival thing is kinda funny to me, someone at Satelight must've been a Fire Emblem fan or something.

Tsubasa, admittedly i would've liked to see more of the time between Hibiki's first major fight and Tsubasa's Stunt, but idk how i would've done that without screwing up the pacing (which is consistently engaging. Those 20 minutes aren't wasted). I do Like her, just not the kinda character I normally attach to.

Genjuro, is just the coolest guy. Man became Heihachi Mishima purely due to his love of people and action movies. "It's only Naive if you're wrong" ass character, I like him.

I do like Finé as a villain quite a bit. & i surprisingly really liked the ending. But I won't lie, i found Finé's motivation kind of funny. Probably the Megami Tensei fan in me, but anything to do with YHVH is bound to be a horrible idea lol. I wanna see Finé talk with Naoya from Devil Survivor, that would be hilarious.

Apparently S1 gets memed on for having weird animation bits, but it's not really something i notice unless I go back to it. Probably since i'm focusing on the story/reading subs. But honestly I can forgive it, the show looks good when it needs to.

Musically, it's solid. Kinda has to be, & I can't think of anything i specifically dislike. But for me the highlights were Zettou Ame-No-Habakiri, Meteor Light, & also the OST had a song called Orbital Beat that I really like. Meteor Light is probably my favorite song in the season. (Guess it's more proof i'm the edgy prick, given that song is basically Chris going "I am not OK, and I desperately need help.")

I also have a lot of respect for how Symphogear's writing isn't really focused on a complex fighting system, and more just Cool stuff. Girls are cool and deserve to do Devil May Cry pistol juggles and sword divekicks. (Seriously, Chris' Durandal juggle had me Floored, as did Hibiki's Gungnir Railroad Car Bomb in G Episode 1. I need a Sympho action game sometime, that would be so much fun.)

Also, i very much appreciate how I've been largely unspoiled. Anything I Have heard, has been entirely my fault, and thankfully I know very little about what happens later (aside from people really like G and AXZ from the sound of it. And I know Cagliostro exists). Sure maybe I would've liked being Sold on the series more, but I can at least mostly go through without worrying about some prick talking about Maria or something before I've gotten there.
That being said, I've had a surprising amount of gear fans find my bluesky live thread lol, including 1 person I've talked to a lot recently (who helped give me more info on what subs to use.

I won't lie, i'm kind of Anxious about the rest of the series. I don't normally do anything longer than an RPG (which is funny, all 5 seasons are close to like 30 hours, which is shorter than most RPGs), so I'm afraid something won't live up to it. That and I heard that the thing I liked most about season 1 (the character writing) isn't Quite at the same level afterwards.
But, I think i'm definitely interested to see this through to the end. Well, if I can get over some personal stuff, anyways.

So, best I can say is Bikkie Take The Wheel. Here's hoping my anxieties are dumb.

Not gonna lie, A combination of my previous pettiness with sympho, & me being closeted transfem, at age 26, kinda gives me massive anxiety. Which is why i've been slow to hop on G. For some reason I get this weird Dread when I'm about to hit the Play button, even though it's something i'm sure I'll enjoy (& am Alone, not gonna be judged by family). I've had a similar thing happen with Touhou Project, Shantae, and if i briefly mention more NSFW stuff, Senran Kagura. Basically anything more openly fem, including stuff targeted at a masculine audience.
So, I won't lie, hopping on Symphogear is kinda like an arc for me, like trying to confront a demon. Hopefully said demon can be Tie Shan Kao'd by Hibiki. Sorry if I seem really sappy and unfocused, I want to believe in the hype that it's as good as ppl say it is. I wanna have my Susie moment. And i also wanna be able to, be the tomboy I wanna be. Girls are special.)

So, I am a sucker for characters who don't have much screentime in their own stories, and Asuka is no exception.

So I decided to commission an upgraded form for Okeanos for a fic I'm going to write, called Okeanos: Unbounded.

In the fic, Asuka sets up on a journey through the multiverse to find the people who stole the main world's Symphogears (leaving only Hibiki, Miku and elfnein as the only active users).

During this journey, Asuka starts to question if she, who has become something akin to a sentient relic after the events of Ashita no hikari, still has the right to live or if she's just a monster and nothing else.

It's only after her comrades make her realize that, no matter what she has become, there are still people who love her that she leaves her doubts behind and unlocks the full power of Okeanos in the unbounded form.

As for the powers: she fights by opening and closing portals to move (think of Yugo from Wakfu) and when she goes physical she usually punches or kicks while screaming the name of her moves as if she's in a tokusatsu show.

Her solo song is a cover of To unseal. That's because this is the song that saved her years ago, and she has kept it in her heart ever since. Now that she has built confidence in herself, she can also sing it without worries. (Before the upgrade she had to rely on her comrades' song to fight at full power)

This form is not something like an X-drive or a Symphonic drive, but something similar to what happens to a gear between seasons (from S1 to G, for example).

Due to bad localization subtitle, i have hard time understanding what was each character mind and struggle for.

1. At beginning, Hibiki struggle not to fight because she said didn’t want hurt people with Symphogear, Is that correct? But the enemy was in front of her, even if she didn’t want to, many innocent people will suffer more the longer you hold to stop the enemy. If she didn’t want to kill she can’t just trying to stop Carol.

2. Yukine seems struggling with herself in this seasons, what’s actually weighing her mind? Its look like she wants to show as a good senpai, am i wrong or not just about that?

3. Dr. Ver, what’s is this person wants actually? Became a hero? What kind of hero? All i can see was more chaos with him. He help carol before then he against it later, what’s wrong with him?

4. Carol, what i understand she wants to follow what her Father messaged. But her action was 180 degree to what actually father wanted her to do. I want to what is her thinking to destroy the world, destroy micracle, why she thinks like that?
