Solved Found a custom iron-on patch, any ideas what it means?
It looks cool and I'd love to wear it, but never fly colors you don't recognize.

Since I'm nearing 600 symbol bookmarks, I figured I should compile some of my favorites into an official resource thread for the sub.
Please feel free to comment with your own favorite resources or to ask for something specific!

I’ve tried looking this up to no avail. Any ideas or resources I can look further into? It may just be a decorative thing but was curious anyway if there was a deeper meaning!

Was walking with my dog in this abandoned recreational park near amsterdam when I saw this carved in a log. We have a bunch of Ukrainian refugees in Amsterdam and I've seen this small group of men a couple of times in the area. So I think they may have have carved this in the tree. Almost nobody comes there as it's hard to find.

Recently I feel like I've been seeing too much "sailing" symbolism... almost as if it was a message for me, I see the t-shirts with the horizontal lines all the time... the other day I went past by a damn kindergarten which was called "sailor" and had babies with the "sailor t-shirts"
The other day I went to church and say a cross that ended in a ⚓ at the bottom...
Then I've been seeing t shirts outside in pther peoeppe with messages... like "keep sailing"
Also I live close to two residential buildings, one is literally called "anchor" and the other one "tide" but they will built years apart and they aren't connected... pure coincidence.
Wtf is this, what should i get from this?

Sometimes when I'm bored I browse the discord profiles of other users that are in servers I frequent and I came across a profile picture of someone giving the middle finger with this hat on and I was wondering if it belongs to any sort of hate/extremist group or if it's just a harmless historical nerd type thing. Apologies for the poor image quality, google lens wasn't giving me an exact match and I'm really curious as to what this is so I figured the next best place to go would be a subreddit with people who might know this sort of thing!

For some reason this symbol keeps coming up in my dreams. Once it was carved into a tree and another time I saw it drawn on a piece of paper on my deceased grandmother’s table. I can’t find anything like it when I do an image search, but does anyone know what it might be?

We always have to look at the people that are in front of our eyes and the symbols they display this one I’m starting to dive into

i got this from a friend at a rave, when i asked what it was he told me that he thinks it might be alchemical symbol for lead, but also that he was pretty high when he made it so he wasn’t totally sure what it was, lol. i just did some googling and i don’t think that’s what it is, unless there’s some obscure version out there i missed. honestly i don’t even mind not knowing what it is definitively (since there’s a decent chance he just made it up) but i would definitely like to make sure it isn’t reminiscent of any kind of hate symbol before i put it on something. thanks in advance!

As the title says, I'm truly scratching my head here. I don't know if maybe there's a better angle of it, or if maybe I've drawn it incorrectly, but this is my best approximation of what's on his wrist.
The closest I can find to this as a symbol are the Cross Pommée, Mo No Yo, and the Tabono, but none of them fit this exactly. Searching up the symbol I drew in like, Google Lens gives me absolutely nothing. I just don't know.
I tried searching the main indexes for African Symbols and German ones, as Ulysses Klaue was born in the Netherlands but got his start in South Africa. He has a Belgian, South African and Dutch citizenship respectively, and he is somewhat related to HYDRA in the MCU but never actively shown being a Nazi. It seems like they shyed away from making him one by Black Panther because he was the comic relief character, and they didn't want to make their comic relief super openly a Nazi.
I had thought that it probably WAS a Nazi thing, originally, but I couldn't find any Nazi symbols close enough to that exactly, with the most obvious being Crusader Crosses & Variants, but again, that just led me to the Cross Pommée which was not correct.
So, I have no idea what it is. Is this some common symbol in accessories that I'm oblivious to? Is it possible that I'm misreading some kind of buckle as a symbol?
BONUS NOTE: I keep wondering if maybe it has something to do with sexuality, because in both movies Klaue appears in, he's always wearing at least one leather strap on his RIGHT wrist which means Bottom in BDSM/gay culture. Klaue is supposed to be super into music in the MCU, so personally I like to think he saw other people wearing it while out clubbing and probably doesn't know what it means but thinks it looks cool since he's also got pierced ears. Of course if he was actually gay, that would be awesome but he is also literally HYDRA-adjacent which is... Hmm.... Inclusive, yaaay.... Plus, he's in a Disney movie, technically, which is kind of not great for that kinda thing lol. But har-har, you get the point.
Help me out if you can or tell me how I'm dumb/wrong!!! Either will probably help. :-) I just want an answer tbh

Title, mostly, but it got put up here around maybe September. It might be Houston or art related, but they usually put their social media on promotional stickers.

Good morning.
My mom passed away suddenly/unexpectedly on Friday, and upon her passing we removed this necklace from her body which she wore daily.
From what I understood, she purchased this necklace at Agnes B. (I believe) in New York City around August/September of 2001. The back of the pendant says "In The Midst Of", as I was an unexpected pregnancy and the necklace represented to her how good things come in the midst of life no matter what.
I am an engineer, so my first interpretation was that it is the Greek symbol Phi. However, I was wondering if the symbol on the front had any relationship to the writing on the back, or perhaps the brand? It feels like the writing on the front and the back should be related, but I cannot find a connection.
I attempted to find similar necklaces/pendants online via Google Lens, but had no luck. Could anyone provide any more context to the symbol?

One of my students said they’d been seeing this symbol a lot and asked me for help finding out what it is, they’re pretty concerned and I’d like to know if it’s actually something to be worried about or if I can tell them it’s just a random design
