The shelter thought she was around 2 when I adopted Sadie as my first dog during covid. I was 25, she apparently didn't like to play fetch, and I live in Texas so running in the summer is a giant pain. I've been playing hockey for over 20 years at that point, so I thought "what if I took her on my roller skates?"

Turns out she loves it and knows exactly what's going to happen when I pull out the harness. She'll pull me most of a mile, but I have to skate next to her the last 1/4 mile.

Side note: the shelter said she was an American bulldog mix, and I only figured out she was mostly an Appenzeller Sennehund mix because of Siri's information in the photos app.
