Welcome to r/Stellar!

This is a place to discuss the Stellar network, share news and ideas, ask questions, and connect with people using and building on Stellar.

New to Stellar?

Stellar is an open-source blockchain network built for fast, low-cost payments and asset issuance, with smart contracts (Soroban) for building financial apps. Its native asset is XLM (lumens).

Stay safe (please read this part)

  • Never share your secret key or recovery phrase with anyone, for any reason. A Stellar secret key starts with S. A standard Stellar account address starts with G and can be shared, but reveals public account information.
  • SDF will never request your private key or a crypto deposit. It does not send unsolicited DMs about wallet support, security alerts, airdrops, or giveaways.
  • r/Stellar moderators will never ask for secret keys, recovery phrases, passwords, authentication codes, or wallet signatures, including in modmail.
  • Treat unsolicited wallet-support and recovery DMs as scams. Contact the service through its official website instead.
  • Don’t connect your wallet or sign transactions through unsolicited links. Never sign a transaction you don’t understand.
  • SDF does not run staking programs, airdrops, or giveaways.
  • Official links: stellar.org and x.com/stellarorg.

Project / Builder I've been building a Stellar DEX with advanced automation and AI-agent support looking for feedback

Hey everyone!

I've been working on a project called BluFabric, a DEX and automation platform for Stellar and XRPL, with an integrated visual workflow builder and AI-agent capabilities.

The idea came from something I kept running into: while Stellar makes moving and trading assets relatively straightforward, coordinating multiple operations, conditions, external services, and ongoing monitoring often requires custom scripts and infrastructure.

I wanted to bring those capabilities together in one accessible platform.

Beyond the DEX, BluFabric has a visual, node-based automation system where you can:

  • Monitor assets, prices, and on-chain activity.
  • Trigger payments, swaps, and other blockchain operations when conditions are met.
  • Build automated trading strategies and recurring financial workflows.
  • Coordinate AI agents, APIs, and external services.
  • Use an AI assistant to construct workflows without manually configuring every node.

The platform also includes a durable execution runtime designed to handle long-running workflows, scheduling, conditional logic, and operations that need to wait for external events.

It's live at https://blufabric.org, with free tokens to try it out. Blufabric is also non-custodial.

I've put a lot of work into building this, and I'd really appreciate feedback from the community, particularly traders, developers, and anyone managing repetitive on-chain operations.

What would you find most useful in a platform like this? And for those who've worked with automated trading or on-chain execution, what features or safeguards would you consider essential?

All feedback is welcome, including criticism.

Discussion Financial Infrastructure for Public Benefit Funds

Musk plans to give every American child a share of SpaceX. What infrastructure will do that? Stellar should volunteer to get into the discussion around the so-called public benefit fund (Anthropic), as this is banking the unbanked at scale. https://www.cnbc.com/2026/10/19/elon-musk-spacex-shares-giveaway-kids.html

Project / Builder A small open-source UI for moving USDC from Polygon to Stellar through Circle’s CCTP (no bridge fees)

I built this for myself and figured it might be useful to someone else here: https://usdc.eww.monster

The problem it solves: a lot of exchanges, pools and fiat on-ramps I use don’t withdraw USDC to Stellar. Polygon is usually on the list and is the cheapest mainstream EVM network, so I withdraw there and then move the USDC to Stellar. The bridges I found for the Polygon to Stellar step (Allbridge and the like) take their own fee. Circle’s CCTP does the same thing 1:1, burn on Polygon, mint on Stellar, but I couldn’t find a UI for it that lets you pick Stellar as the destination. So this page is that UI.

Cases where it has been handy for me:

  • Cashing in from an exchange that lists USDC on Polygon but not on Stellar.
  • Moving funds out of an EVM DeFi position into a Stellar pool or Blend without a bridge in between.
  • Fiat to USDC services that only pay out on EVM chains.

The transfer takes three steps, each signed by its own wallet. MetaMask signs the burn on Polygon (the MetaMask app on a phone works too), Circle issues the attestation, and Albedo or Freighter signs the mint on Stellar. The USDC that lands on Stellar comes from Circle’s issuer account, the same one your USDC trustline already points to. The page only builds the transactions and submits them, keys stay in the wallets. If something interrupts you after the burn, paste the burn hash and continue from step 3.

You need USDC and a few cents of POL on Polygon, a Stellar account with a USDC trustline, and a little XLM on it for the mint fee, about 0.03 XLM. Try 1 USDC first.

It only goes from Polygon to Stellar for now, since that is the direction I use. Source is on GitHub: https://github.com/Alex0007/cctp-stellar

Price Discussion / Speculation Is my understanding accurate…

So am I to understand that when it comes to Stellar, holding XLM doesn’t do a thing for holders looking for token value because transaction fees are so minute and other assets are being utilized as well, or instead, even? Am I understanding that correctly?

Project / Builder I built a payment link system for accepting Stellar payments — no merchant account, no custody, no registration

I’ve been building a small payment product for the last few months and finally got it to a point where I’m comfortable putting it in front of people.

The basic idea is pretty simple:
A merchant creates a payment link → sends it to a customer → customer pays from their own wallet → funds go directly to the merchant.

No account creation for the merchant, no funds sitting with us, and no complicated checkout integration.

Right now it runs on Stellar Testnet.

The merchant enters:
- destination wallet
- asset
- amount

CantonPay generates the payment link. Once the transaction happens, we verify it on-chain and can notify the merchant through API/webhooks.
I’m currently testing it with the idea of eventually making it useful for small online businesses, SaaS products, developers, etc. — basically places where setting up a full crypto payment stack feels like overkill.
There’s also a 1% fee, capped at $1, although I’m still thinking about what the long-term pricing should look like.

You can try it here: https://cantonpay.online

What I’m actually interested in hearing is whether this solves a problem anyone here has.

Would you use something like this for a project or online business?
What would stop you from using it?
I’m especially interested in feedback from people already building on Stellar.

I’m the person building CantonPay, so happy to answer technical questions or explain how it works.

Price Discussion / Speculation Why did XLM flash jump on price and volume today?

On Kraken there was a 1 minute candle where it went up 0.01 for a huge transaction volume.. 2.5 million tx in 1 minute and at $.01 above the current price

anyone know why this kind of thing happens?
