The Vamprie Survivors devs said they had reached out to Steam about doing something like this a few months back because they didn't want to keep ruining player's 100% with updates that added new achievements.

Ball x Pit also deliberately didn’t add new achievements for the free update as well for the same reason (although they now are for the upcoming paid DLC, so this achievement rework has arrived at a lucky time for them)

It’s actually great because of this update my rare achievements showcase isn’t filled with basic call of duty achievements anymore because the percentages of people who unlocked them are finally adjusted

You got me excited for mine, but mine didn't change. It's all still Halo MCC LASO and speed run achievements.

The game needs to support it as well and it's a brand new feature, give it some time. I doubt many older games will receive updates that change this though

Also I doubt many people are going to player 6 Halo games on Legendary with All Skulls On. A lot of people can't even do legendary. Also completing 6 halo games under three hours on legendary is also just as hard.

If they do update halo MCC I am curious on actual numbers.

Only when the devs implement it. It wont retroactively happen for most games, only when the devs are still active and care about it. And if you only care about it beeing displayed as such, you can always use the SteamDB extension.

More important with this update is the actual functionality that gets added with the sets.
