Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker was originally released for the PSP but was later included in the Metal Gear Solid Collection on PS3 and Xbox 360, so this is the first time that game is available on Nintendo and PC platforms as well.

NPR has put out their list of the best video games to release so far in 2026, and there are two spy video games that made the list: https://www.npr.org/2026/07/21/nx-s1-5897567/best-games-2026-npr

The spy video games on the list are quite well known, but a sizeable part of their list (which crosses all genres) is filled with small indie games you likely haven't heard of.

So check out the spy games, and also see what small, off-the-radar non-spy games are worth playing as well.

Came across this article posted today from Collider: https://collider.com/best-spy-video-games-all-time-ranked

They've made some interesting choices, it's worth a read.

The spy video game Agent 64: Spies Never Die finally has a release date set, and the game is set to release less than a month away on August 11th, 2026.

Wishlist and/or play the free demo (while it's still around until August 9th) on Steam here: https://store.steampowered.com/app/1574480/Agent_64_Spies_Never_Die

A developer post on the game's store page contains the just-announced the release date.

If the recently-released spy video game Zero Parades: For Dead Spies has left you wanting more of its world, the game now has a one-shot TTRPG (i.e tabletop RPG) that can be downloaded here for free: https://zeroparades.com/one-shot

(In case you're not familiar with TTRPGs, these are pen and paper role-playing games, not the video game type of RPG)

According to the linked website, the events of the TTRPG take place 30 years before the events of the video game, so it's not necessary to have played the Zero Parades video game to enjoy the TTRPG
