Looking for recommendations

I've just recently started getting into soul. I would love to get some recommendations if people have any. Below are the names that have drawn me most so far. I'm not sure if there's any coherency in terms of where and when they've arrived, but I think I gravitate to the rawer less polished 'early' soul? I also like a bit of funk in there I think, or at least strong groove. Would love it if anyone has any recommendations based on the kind of stuff I've been connecting with so far.
