Hey guys i did quick experiment i find out that sly cooper could be playable with PC emulation. But doing the same thing on a real ps2 by using OPL is impossible ! The game crashes and u can't catch anything in some specific areas leaving u with no choice only to shut down the game immediately . I saw some videos talking about how this anti piracy system could break the game even if it was an original disk (Rarely) .
why the second and the third game didn't have the same system ?

This is almost complete. I will soon need playtesters, I’ve successfully implemented full enemy, coins, clue bottle and job sync. Doing 2 missions at once as 2 separate characters works, and if you start a job with player 2 right next to you, it puts you both in the same job so you can do it together. You can travel to separate rooms, and still see eachother when entering. I even added an in game multiplayer menu

And here is the final wheel! I was amazed to realise there was more than one mutant enemy in this game. It's like Dingodile has found his peeps! It is super late, so I am going to jump into the stats and things
Congratulations u/ThatTothKid for finding Murray one last time!

I have a question for all of you: Which enemies came from which episodes? If you can tell me, I will add that as a new stat block.
Now that we have the Sly trilogy done, I will be moving on to locations from the Rayman series, and Locations for you guys too!

I really hope we get good merch for the anniversary next year. Like a actual Thievius Raccoonus book would be amazing and I’d love the trilogies soundtracks on vinyl or at least putting them on streaming seeing how the only soundtrack on streaming is Thieves in Time

Title asks it all, are there any indie games that are inspired by the Sly franchise? If not, what would you guys like to see from an indie game inspired by our favorite ringtail?

I found General Tsao's fight to be great in the first fight, but the second half was blocked with so much bamboo! having said that, it is so god damn cinematic, and I loved the atmosphere that fight was. You really felt like you were in a samurai movie.
Congratulations u/ThatTothKid for finding Bentley one last time. you have 12 hours to FIND THE MURRAY! before the kid gets him!

Currently making an online multiplayer mod for sly 2, each player can be their own character and you can even do missions individually or together, if you have a Bentley job and a Murray job active you can do both at the same time, one player controlling each character

I've been playing Sly 2 and I'm almost done with it. Besides the final boss trophy, I also gotta do the loot trophy and I know I can finish that by stealing diamonds in episode 8. Is there an easy way to grind for diamonds or should I just beat the final boss first? Also can I go back into the blimp where you find Clockwerk's body

The game is approaching playable FPS with stock clocks and no modded PSP trickery other than enabling the extra 32MB memory. The glitchy graphics are mostly due to the level being too complex and some graphics instructions being dropped. The color flicker is just an artifact of recording an LCD.
I'm hoping with some graphic reductions I can get closer to a steady 15 fps at least, and possibly reduce the memory usage along the way so that extra 32MB is not necessary either.

had a little break from this little project, but today i added the cane and attacking (kinda janky i know) and basic breakables and coins (no ai)

On a side note, as I was drawing this, a question popped into my head: why was he even added into Sly 4? He's only in like two or three cutscenes in which he really doesn't do anything necessary to the plot, and he doesn't even speak at all. You know, the thing that made him a fan favorite in the first place.
Now, don't get me wrong, I'm like one of the few people who doesn't actually hate Sly 4, because beyond the loading screen times and the story, it is still at its core, very fun gameplay.

I was really expecting you guys to go for the dog opera singer, then I realised, oh yeah this guy has black in his name! lmao. I love a good moustach, and this guy has one of the biggest. Do you guys have any moustachioued video game characters you guys like? I personally would go for Victor Sullivan, but I kinda hate Uncharted for making the gaming industry channel realistic art styles forever...
I am going to keep the Lupus as invincible, because under normal tactics, he can't be killed. I don't think ya'll are going to get all 9 classes of enemies, but this may be the most types I have seen in a wheel.
Congratulations u/MysticKitsunee for finding THE MURRAY! You have 12 hours before Kitsunee can strike Bentley! This will also be the last Bentley hiding for this wheel.

It has been a longggggg time, and I mean a long long time since I've played through these games. I had the original 3 on my PS2 back in the day, but only every actually beat the 3rd one before. I decided to play through the collection on my Steam Deck and am about halfway through Sly 1.
Firstly, I've been sleeping on the other two and they hold up incredibly well. Secondly, the soundtrack rocks. It might be one of my favorite game soundtracks of all time. Absolutely Killer.

I played the games over a decade ago and some of the missions are really easy but some are just straight bs where you lose if you don’t do the perfect thing.
