Scaramucci no longer holds the record for shortest service to the trump whitehouse....11 days has been broken and Zacharia now owns it at 5 days. And only one 14 minute press briefing did her in. It was a unblievable thing to watch too. She was so far out of her element, even reading the side notes telling her how to say the next statement with "enegry and excitement". Freakin' unreal and entertaining. Makes me miss Sean Spicer.

Her law degree wasn't from China, it is from Pepperdine. The issue isn't whether she has a law degree, she does, it's whether she passed the bar exam, which she hasn't. She definitely didn't do that in China because you can only take the Chinese equivalent of the bar if you're a Chinese national.

Pepperdine is a legit law school for people that take it seriously but there's a running joke about law schools and once you're accepted, the school has every incentive to make sure you graduate and it's incredibly hard to fail as long as you show up. But getting pushed through to keep graduation stats up doesn't mean you'll be prepared or able to pass the bar if you didn't actually take the program seriously.

I’ve always been a little envious of countries that embrace the term “fortnight” instead of saying “two weeks.” Just has an air of sophistication. Can we make “zacharia” and “scarmucci” a thing in the US, to mean “five days” and “eleven days,” respectively?
As a software engineer, I see them as a potential substitute for story points. “How long will it take you to build this new feature?” “Normally a few scaramuccis, but with Claude, probably a fortzacharia. Maybe less.”
