Question Still Cant hear comms in pc lobbies

Sorry I tried to make this post in the main r6 sub but it keeps getting removed

Anyway I have 2 accounts that are the pretty much the same rank, one P2 one E5, however on my main account i can hear comms almost every single game. Yet on my alt I have about 50 matches played and haven't heard a SINGLE word yet. So its safe to assume the account is just glitched or something. I feel bad bc once you get to emerald I feel like its expected to have comms and if you dont ur kinda throwing.

Has anyone had a similar problem? Im on xbox in pc lobbies btw

Discussion How do you guys find other players to stack with?

First full season on Pc and currently Em 2. Used to always be in 5 stack on console but on Pc its only been me and one freind most of the time, occasionally a 3rd. Our goal is to hit Diamond for this season but with duo queuing we ofc get alot of randoms who dont speak at all and will cost us games. We've tried LFG posts on the official discord but the 2 times we used that method weve had a cheater on the team. Im curious on how yall find other players who you can trust are legit.

Operator Guide Tachanka on Bank Basement is a Must

Servers is a crucial space for the defenders to hold when defending Basement, and the tunnel is an extremely common spot for attackers to push it from.

With Tachanka, you can literally block it off for the first 2 minutes of the round with your fire grenades. Definitely consider playing him regardless of who you usually main. Not to mention, you can easily shoot out an entire wall between bomb sites if that’s what suits the rest of your team’s plan.

Don’t be afraid to go a few steps into the actual tunnel to better bounce the grenades off the jagged wall and deeper into attacker-controlled space.

I have been doing this every match I’ve played Bank, and it’s proven worthwhile in about 80% of the rounds I did it. Wastes a lot of their time, which is the biggest resource you have as a defender

Guide Request New Player Pls Help 🙏🏻

I am brand new to siege. Excited to learn the game. Where should I start? Any reccomended YouTube videos / series’ to watch to learn the game? I found one series called siege school by varsity gaming that looks good, but the videos are quite dated. I’m very familiar with first person shooters just not siege specifically. Just looking for general advice and recommendations on how to learn the ropes!

Advice What loadout for F2?

I heard that the F2 could be a laser if you are skilled enough, but I was wondering what loadout people normally use for best recoil and visibility. My friend said for me to use suppressor and flash hider and vert grip, and it does NOT feel easy. Should I use 417 instead? What about the dmr nerf?

Beginner Question Strafe control around walls

Probably a very silly question. When I watch higher tier players (I'm gold for reference), they seem to have a huge amount of control around how far they move left/right when peeking doors/corners.

When I move left and right it feels like a lottery as to how far I'm going to be moving into the open doorway. If I'm quick peeking and getting a single shot away (multiple times), I'll either get it right, not move quite far enough and shoot the frame or overshoot and expose too much of my body. I just can't seem to consistently get this right.

Has anyone experienced this or got any advice?

Beginner Question New to PC and siege

Hey guys I’m fairly new to PC only playing a little bit of COD when BO7 came out so my mechanics are pretty trash and my aim is a little better but not much. I also have not played Siege in a very long time last thing I remembered was Ash losing her ACOG. As a basically fresh slate what should I focus on more and or first and any tips about the game or adjusting to MnK will be greatly appreciated!

Beginner Question Help

I’m new to PC and want to try to play Siege on PC. However, I cannot find a good sensitivity while doing research I learned about the multipliers people play on. So I went into my files and changed my multiplier to 0.002000 when I loaded back in the game my sensitivity felt ok but my ADS sense is ridiculously slow and I can’t control recoil at all. While ADS it takes about 10 full swipes of my mouse on my mouse pad to go in a complete circle. I have no idea if I did something wrong or how to fix it. Can anybody help???

Question High or Low for Audio on Ps5?

I play on PS5 and just recently bought the Sennheiser 560S Headphones and a SoundBlasterX G6 DAC with a Custom EQ profile for Siege. I saw that Low compresses all sounds (Footsteps to Explosions) to around the same level, and High keeps all the audio normal, but explosions and reinforcements can be deafening. I play on Low currently. I notice that I can hear the footsteps clearly, but struggle to find exactly where they are coming from. With my custom EQ profile, should I just use High?

Beginner Question Good ops to use for each map?

(I started playing this game a few weeks ago with my buddy, I use Playstation and have only been playing Quick Match until I’m confident enough in my skill.)

I’ve begun to learn some things about the game, and I’m slowly (VERY slowly) getting better at it

I’ve been wanting to figure out all the good ops for each map (mainly so I can get better but also so I’m not hardstuck on one op all the time). If yall have any operator suggestions for ANY map, please tell me.

Operator Guide Question about Vigil

Is it appropriate to hold degenerate angles and hide in the smallest pocket completely out of sight with Vigil? I understand he is meant to waste the attacker's time but I don't know if it'll be sportsmanlike if that's something that matters within Siege.

Advice Switching to MnK

Hey everyone, long-time R6 player here, always been on controller. Recently made the switch to MnK and looking for advice from anyone who's gone through the same.

Right now my aim is all over the place — recoil control feels off, tracking moving targets is rough, and I haven't found a DPI/sens that feels comfortable yet. Even movement-wise, peeking and quick flicks don't come naturally, my hands still feel like they're fighting the mouse.

For those of you who made the switch, how long did it take before you felt decent? Any drills or routines that actually helped, whether it's Aim Lab, T-Hunt, or just playing? And what sens/DPI would you recommend starting with? Also happy to hear about common mistakes to avoid so I don't build bad habits early on.

Thanks in advance, any advice is appreciated!

Advice How do I stop attacking alone?

(SoloQ)
I have a weird problem.

Ever since I was in gold (currently emerald 3) I developed a weird playstyle that some may consider a selfish playstyle.
I tend to attack a side of the map completely alone, I don’t rush in with ash, or rather I don’t really rush at all. I usually clear util or play very methodically. I manage to quite literally sneak in places I’m not supposed to be and pick 1-2 kills before immediately dying because all the attention is drawn towards me. Every single time the same exact thing plays out.

I figured that being more team oriented would just generally help me grow, so I started picking more “common routes”, like main breaches, or really just defaults I suppose.

But even then I would be left alone after a couple seconds and my team just goes and does it’s own thing, together.

They move like a unit and have some sort of synergy that allows them to trade each other without remaining isolated.

Whenever I’m surrounded by teammates I tend to tunnel vision extremely hard and I feel like all of my gamesense is gone.

I’m basically able to play only if I’m alone. I’m not sure how to go about getting better at playing with the team.

And yeah playing with stacks and friends ends up pretty badly for me, i completely lose focus.

Discussion Emerald/Diamond elo is hell

Ive been playing since Operation Red Crow which was 2015 if I remember correctly, on and off taking some breaks here and there and I am well aware the game has changed dramatically. I peaked champ for multiple seasons, took a break and came back and can not seem to figure it out. Whether it's game sense, I can definitely tell my aim/mechanics have taken a hit, positioning or decision making, I just can't seem to do anything right lol. Has anyone else here been champ before and are finding themselves struggling or those who have gotten over the hump? I would love some tips either attacking or defending that would make the game "easier" or just ways to find better success overall.
