Photo The DUNTER (IMO: 9114957) is a 797-gross-ton harbour tug operating under the UK flag in the Shetland Islands, Scotland
In line with local maritime tradition, the port’s tugs are named after local Shetland sea birds. "Dunter" is the local Shetland dialect name for the eider duck. The other tugs in the fleet are the Tystie (black guillemot), Tirrick (Arctic tern), and Shalder (oystercatcher).
I think she's a beauty.

Video Polar Prince, the retired Canadian icebreaker that towed Titan 370 miles to the Titanic
OceanGate's earlier support ship was not available in 2023, so it chartered the Polar Prince, which had no deck space for the sub: Titan was towed on its launch platform behind her, nearly three thousand nautical miles that season. The Coast Guard board calls her the cheaper, less capable choice. I made a documentary from the three investigation reports: https://youtu.be/DHUt0oHNOa4

Video Titanic 4
Hey guys, I've been working on a project for a while now, and I'd like if you guys checked it out. It's an AI short movie about a ship called Titanic 4 and I think it's worth watching. The video is in Spanish but it has English subtitles and some parts are in English. I don't know if this counts as advertising but I just wanted to post the project (I'm new to reddit)

In The Lakes - new free Great Lakes simulator layers data in real time + allows you to float and boat.
I created a free platform that brings together all sorts of data sources (buoy, weather, satellite, etc.) and allows you to experience the lake from dozens of points in real-time. Get boater and swimmer warnings.
You can even 'Float' in a random spot and just enjoy the view as if you were there. Play the radio, have a drink. Designed for calm.
Free, no email required, no data tracked. Just a passion project.
Thoughts and feedback welcome.

Ferries and tankers in my sailing simulator: crossing their path in Mahón harbour (Menorca)
I made a sail and motor simulator set in the Mediterranean. Besides your own boat there’s commercial traffic: ferries going up and down Mahón harbour, tankers and cargo ships off the port of Tarragona, and ships crossing on the passages to Mallorca and Menorca. You have to keep clear of them, follow the right-of-way rules and listen to them on VHF.
Everything is modelled in code (Swift); no AI-generated graphics.
Free, no ads. Mac, iPhone and iPad.

Video Massive Ships Navigating the Locks
A Different Perspective on Massive Ships Navigating the Locks .
Captured with two FPV drones, the DJI Avata 2 and iFlight Nazgul Evoque F6D. I wanted to show these massive vessels and the locks from perspectives you don't normally get to see.
Hope the ship enthusiasts here enjoy it!
