Who would you (semi realistically) want our Val roster to be next year?

I think it will probably happen now. Any thoughts on what the roster would be if he does come back? Also I could’ve sworn John and Oxy were playing together as well.

No shock, SEN made partnership! That being said, who do we have on the team?

The only odd thing about this whole situation is that jonahp hasn't been officially announced as leaving the roster, but he also hasn't responded to SEN's partnership tweet, so I assume he's off the team.

My wildest guess is zekken, but MIBR also made partnership, so I'm not sure how that will impact their current signings.

Since tex left, I think they can only sign a player from the Americas, but I'm not entirely sure how imports work with subregions. From what I understand, you can only have two players from different regions. but regardless zekken joining sen seems like a long shot....

TLDR: Why I believe Jerrwin is a better fit than Reduxx

The Main question and disagreement from my previous analysis is “Why Jerrwin instead of Reduxx”.

I believe overall career stats is not a great representation of a player’s future potential as the meta changes overtime. The best way to do this is to grade by weight. 5% for LAN/Veteran experience, 15% for stats prior to previous year (>2024 + overall), 30% of last year and 50% of this year. In the case of Jerrwin & Reduxx, we will not include “5% Lan Experience” metric. So let’s break it down..

Weighted Metric Comparison (50/30/15)

Winner: Reduxx

- Mathematically Reduxx wins with an overall score of 55% compared to Jerrwins score of 45%. If we remove clutch % as this can be the most random depending on how the game plan is being played. Overall split is a lot tighter. Reduxx of 52.5% and Jerrwin at 47.5%

Growth & Trajectory Breakdown (2024 to 2026)

Winner: Jerrwin

- Based on this weighting. You can conclude the following, Redduxx is stabilizing whereas Jerrwin is accelerating growth. Again, this is in current data for the last 3 years. Of course, it can change in the future but as of right now, the numbers don’t lie.

Additional Metrics (Positional Execution)

 Winner: Jerrwin

- This is the main reason why I believe Jerrwin would be a better fit for a team to be the second head of the dragon. He initiates contact significantly more and dies in positions where his teammates can trade him. You don’t need two superstars stepping on each other’s toes, you need a synergized team.

Preface: Watching the 2026 season so far, I believe the current Sentinel’s team has potential. You just need to make some minor changes.

First let’s start with what the team is lacking.

1.      Confidence

2.      Aggression

3.      Protocols

Of course, all 3 points come hand in hand. 1 & 3 during defense, 1 & 2 during attack and all 3 during post plant. All points below are my own perspective and assessments looking at games that are currently available in public.

Confidence – The team currently looks like they are playing not to lose, rather than playing to win. You can see the hesitation at choke points and the second-guessing during mid round calls. When an initial play goes sour, team confidence and trust seem to decrease, and the play comes to a standstill. Everyone seems to just wait for someone to make a round defining play to swing momentum. You need the players to believe they are the best in the server and play like it and do not have any other doubts. Every round won’t be a success, but players should not take this into the next round.

Aggression - Pacing or synergy seems off. The plays are too passive – again seems like the team is waiting for an anchor player in the team to make a round defining play. The team needs an enforcer or two who can dictate the tempo.

Protocols - Defensive rotations and post-plant setups frequently feel improvised rather than drilled. When protocols are second nature, confidence naturally rises, and aggression becomes a calculated play rather than a reckless peek.

Not but not least, every team should have with each player is TRUST. It must be undeniable.

Now let’s figure out the team. The core 3 should be the following.

- JohnQT (The Brain)

- Zekken (The spear + Flex)

- Cortezia (The stabilizer)

To round out the remaining members, I suggest the following

- Eeiu or Crashies (You need a veteran initiator who understands spacing. Either of these two are great candidates that bring discipline and confidence to flesh out a spot)

- Jerrwin (Great to provide the offensive pressure whether on his own or with Zekken. Sentinels needs a two-headed dragon when taking space. Map pressure is important at the level of play. This will also allow Zekken to flex when he wants and provides some diversity to map agent pool/rotation)

NOW, the only exception would be to add TenZ instead of Jerwin. But I believe Jerrwin is a better structural fit. If you put TenZ into the team, then Zekken would just focus on being the spear and TenZ would be the secondary + Flex. But a combination of these 3 would also work.

With booster now being available i could totally see booster helping out with calls and John taking a more performance player. Add a good duelist and this could be a monster team. Booster and Cortez as ultimate vibes redux and John and the duo and the free duelist perf zekken or oxy as our child that we praise.

Is anyone interested in doing a Sen fantasy football (nfl) league? Thought it would be cool to do a league full of sen fans, and I think having a yearly league could be cool. Maybe in the future Rob could sponsor a league or two (though that's prob a pipe dream).

Since the league starts Wednesday, we need the draft to be tomorrow (Tuesday). I am thinking of holding it at 8 pm est (i assume most people will have enough time after work?); I will put a poll below, and you can answer it. I'll also include a link to the league so you can join.

I don't mind running multiple leagues. idk how many people are interested so im sorta winging it. I set it to 12, but if it becomes full, I can create multiple leagues, as I said above.

Team has gotten considerably boring in personalities since the departure of big names like Zekken Tenz zellsis and now Tarik and although I find cortezia entertaining and John I feel like the team just needs more

Now im unsure how this happened but EG signed FNS as a creator for watch parties and EG is kind of a clown of an ORG so I feel like with EG likely not making partnership Sentinels could potentially snag FNS to be a type of Tarik watchparty replacement?

Could also look into a past name like Zellsis to become a Sen player or if he retires a Sen Watchpartier?

I feel like this would make the team more entertaining again ?

Cause like before when we lost at least we had entertainment around the team now it feels like sen suck and they are boring

Zekken main entry: Nothing more needs to be said. Idk what mibr was thinking, if it was the team, coach, gm, owner, etc. But putting imo the best entry duelist in Americas as the second entry role was ludicrous. I'm not harping on Jerwin I actually think he's underrated, but if zekken is available or even oxy. Sentinels should get them. (Also Zekken is my favorite player in valorant so it would be cool to have him back lol)

Reduxx AWPer and agents mainly chamber and second duelist (preferably Jett) optionally omen if needed: I think it was a huge missed opportunity to not put Reduxx as the AWPer and by extension chamber. From what I've seen of him he's a better AWPer than jerwin. Also he was really good on the chamber, Jett, and Yoru, when he played them. So idk why they didn't try it.

Johnqt Main caller and flex: No explanation needed

Eeiu scan initiator and second caller: Nothing against the professor. But he plays way better and is more suited to a flex player role than a main scan initiator. Plus, eeiu has the benefit of having past experience playing with Johnqt on m80, as well as he's a really good mid rounder and he mains scan initiator.

Cortezia smokes and sentinel: I hope cortezia stays, he's really good and he was probably my favorite player on sentinels this season. He works so well with Johnqt. Also he just fills the gaps of the team.

Unfortunately I do think the roster will mix up this year. I think all the players are talented, but for whatever reason it isn't meshing and being as Sen is a big name, they will make big changes. I am curious as to what you guys think the starting roster will be next year. I think Sen will still maintain Johnqt, cortez, and reduxx. I am predicting they pick up eeiu or crashies and a big move like oxy(prob not too realistic) or another big name duelist.

Tenz joined SEN and they won the 1st Masters (Reykjavík) before not meeting expectations for 2 years. They then won again in 2024.

JohnQT joined SEN and they won the 1st Masters (Madrid) before not meeting expectations for 2 years. If history repeats in 2027?

Both of these players went on the be the franchise player for the org.

When going into 2024, SEN had their duo (Tenz/Zekken) and a Brazilian (Sacy). 2 changes were made.

When going into 2027, SEN will have their duo (JohnQT/Reduxx) and a Brazilian (Cortezia). 2 changes are what some people want to be made.

Fun fact, Sacy was the one that recommend Cortezia to MIBR in the first place. So Cortezia being on SEN is ment to be.

Meaning - if everything goes as planned, JohnQT is set to become SENs longest contracted player ever on March 20th 2027.
