Chat casually with fellow seinen fans or even go off topic
Share what you're reading or watching (even if it's not seinen but feels thematically similar!)
Drop manga or anime recs
Ask for recommendations
Share thoughts, opinions, or industry news
Connect with others over shared interests, talk about life, or talk about anything really.
A cozy little corner for off-topic or casual talk, manga recs, or even non-seinen-related chat (yes, even if it’s a romcom or battle shounen, we won’t bite). The idea is to give everyone room to connect without cluttering the main feed, especially when you just wanna vibe, ask for non seinen recs, socialize, share interests, or talk about something random that doesn’t need its own post.
Think of it like a comfy little corner booth in a familiar café, always here if you need it.
Some Ground Rules(Just to Keep Things Chill)
1) Be kind. That’s it.
2) Avoid talking about emotionally heavy issues (like personal mental health struggles), these are best kept for other spaces. This thread isn’t the place for extended serious discussions or support-seeking, even in spoiler tags or hover text.
3) Keep spoilers tagged!

I tried asking this question in the Tokyo Ghoul Sub, but it wasn't really answered.
I just finished reading Tokyo Ghoul for the first time, and I thought it was okay. 7.5-ish out of 10, didn't really like the ending.
I know there's the sequel series, Tokyo Ghoul: Re, but as someone who wasn't super impressed by the original, would it even be worth my time reading Re?
I've heard some mixed things about it, and knowing how I felt about Tokyo Ghoul, which, from what I've heard, is held extremely highly, I'm just not sure if I'd enjoy Re.
At the end of the day, my question is: would you recommend Re to someone who wasn't a huge fan of the original series?
Here is my list I know it's a bit controversial but it is what it is .
1.Stell ball run
20th century boys
Monster
Berserk
5.summertime rendering ( i know many would not consider it a seinen since it was published in shonen jump but i consider it to be seinen well if you still don't consider it seinen then my other contender in 5th spot would be blame!
Most databases just sort by popularity scores voted by teenagers. As someone working full-time with limited free time, I wanted a clean, ad-free place that treats Seinen and pre-2006 theatrical anime like The Criterion Collection.
I put together Kōkai (www.kokai.in)—it lets you filter by film director vibes (Fincher Noir, Tarkovsky Slow-Burn, Cronenberg Sci-Fi, Kurosawa Epics), shows a 3-Act Pacing Calculator so you know exactly how many days a series will take at 1–2 episodes a night, and lets you export 9:16 Dossier cards for your top 4 vault.
It's 100% free and has zero ads. Would love feedback from actual Seinen readers on which landmark manga or 80s/90s OVAs I should add to the bespoke director pairings next.
I don't remember much about this Manga because it only had a few chapters just like 3 when I read it and did so on Mangakakalot.
It starts with a Dark hair and dark skinned girl trying to hide her identity and she has a friend they meet in a Bar or something for a mission her friend is Blonde maybe just based on perspective in black in white or there might have been a colored panel. They be lesbians together no idea.
There is another guy he is a Priest/Crusader or something and is a Combatant and is Descendant from a long line of them basically like Witchers and he might be the only one left. He's strong and the three of them meet up for a mission.
On the mission there is a strong monster and the Priest guy couldn't handle it well and the Blonde girl was injured so the Dark Haired Dark skinned girl gets angry and has to step in she has seals on both her arms because of her immense power then undoes them and beats the monster.
She has a master who is strong and might be dead now don't remember he sealed her power and taught her.
Like I said it was only 3 Chapters at the time I read it so I don't know more details.
I read it 2022-2024 which could be when it released or just the translation.
