Join us for our 3rd walk this Saturday, 10/24 at 10 am. We'll meet at Revolutions Cafe to grab coffees (with a 15% discount for our group) before doing the Green Lake loop.

If you grew up as the built-in babysitter, the family therapist, or the one who had it together so everyone else didn't have to, then this is your crowd.

Every woman's welcome, eldest or not. Come solo or bring a friend, walk at whatever pace feels good!

RSVP here so we know roughly how many to expect: https://luma.com/fdh8qxnp

Seattle! Halloween night

Halloween is getting weird in the best way possible. We are everything Instagram hates (proudly indie, DIY, and a safe-space, made by folks who deeply feel the need more safe spaces so we are getting shadow banned.

We are still looking for raffle donations, some local businesses if you want your business to be mentioned during the festivities

If you can’t make it, you can donate on the ticketing website. We are also looking for artists to feature that would like to vend their art at the show.

If you are looking for something that actually pushes boundaries, Haunted Beatdown is taking over. This isn't your standard wrestling show. We are packing the ring with high stakes, queer chaos, and a mission that actually matters.

We have heard too many stories about very big Halloween parties kicking out people for “no reason” so we decided to make our own Halloween party: a wrestling rave with drag and burlesque and comedy in between matches

The card is stacked. We have the baddest ass trans wrestlers and referees running the show, including a tag match between The Heartbreaker Club and NB/NV. The main event? An old school Halloween Havoc style Battle Royale. We are hiding traps and treats all over the ring. Wrestlers might trigger a weapon, activate a surprise teammate, or a brand new opponent. You have to be there to see who survives.

The entertainment goes way beyond the ring. Jojo Blacco is handling comedy, and if you know their work opening for Mick Foley, you know Jojo brings the heat. We have performances from Seattle’s own Survivor Drag King winner Absinthe Father, plus Yuri Tadory and her clown puppet Filipe. If you want a piece of the show, you can donate to snag a custom blind box puppet from Yuri.

Our headliner is a non-binary hip-hop sensation coming all the way from DC. You know the one—the internet legend who does those “good morning gang” videos and checks in on your sleep and your tummy. They are coming out to perform their music, and they are hosting a full Polaroid exhibit of their art.

Costumes are encouraged! There will be a Halloween costume contest and the category is “oddly specific”

21+ October 31 at the 101
Doors at 7 pm and everyones moving to afterparties at 2 am. Tickets are at ticketstripe.com/hauntedbeatdown

Music is locked in with sets from Adora Blue and Vagabondsupreme, plus some surprise guests we are keeping under wraps for now.

Most importantly, every single cent of profit goes directly to TRACTION. They are a 501(c)(3) actively moving trans folks out of dangerous states and into the safety of Oregon and Washington.

Only punk rock royalty could bring you such an event. Presented by @the.lucha.project

Tickets are moving fast. Front row is already 50% gone and VIP is limited. GA is only $27. Grab yours now and support a vital cause while seeing the wildest show in the city.
Follow us on Instagram @hauntedbeatdown

See you there.

The goal of this class is to develop a strong sense of design and efficient markmaking. You will learn how to explore multiple pathways when drawing quick gestures, instead of feeling locked into observational copying. We will study avenues of line, shape, and form design through many subjects beyond just the human figure. Beginner-Intermediate skill levels welcome!
We meet in the top floor of Parnassus, a new art space in Downtown.

Post image

Your favorite Dropout TV program just got a spooky spoof. Get ready for ghoulish gags, ghostly improv, and a whole lot of laughs. Co-hosted with Seattle Community Theatre, this is a playful and interactive little night of comedy.

Are you dreaming of a monstrous moment on stage? In addition to our panel of performers, the boldest audience members will get a chance to make some noise themselves too! Plus, everyone gets a chance to recommend some prompts for the show.

Things to know:

  1. Costumes are heavily encouraged. There are some sweet prizes for the best dressed.

  2. There will be some light snacks and additional concessions will be available.

  3. Tickets are required and space is limited. Get them while they last!

  4. The show may include adult language and content. 18+ recommended.

  5. Tickets are tiered. In an effort to make the fun as accessible as possible, we offer all of our events across tiers. Grab a reduced rate tickets or pay-it-forward for others to attend at a discount while we cover our costs. Choose the tier that makes sense for you. Is cost still a barrier? Reach out! We can't make some noise without you.

See you on the 25th!
