For one of my bilge rat shipment voyages the key doesn’t work😑

Its most noticable at a very high sens like 10. As you lower your sens, the steps are still there, but get gradually smaller. At 1 sens if feels nonexistent.

I’ve been dealing with a frustrating ping issue in Sea of Thieves for around 9 months, and I’m hoping someone with networking knowledge or a similar experience can help me figure out what’s actually causing it.
My situation:
Location: Saudi Arabia
ISP: Zain 5G home internet
Connection: Ethernet to my PC
Indian servers: Used to expect around 60–90ms, but I’ve been getting 250–300ms (yellow con) for a while. Recently, it became consistently 280ms or higher.
French servers: Around 140ms currently.
Other games: Around 20ms in Valorant on Riyadh servers, around 60ms in CS, and around 40ms in CoD.
The weirdest part is that some of my friends get around 60ms on the same Sea of Thieves server region, while my ping is several times higher.
I’ve changed ISPs twice and had my router/connection checked, but the problem persisted. My internet download speeds are generally fine, so this doesn’t seem to be a simple bandwidth issue.
I’ve been wondering whether this is an ISP routing/peering issue, a problem with the route to Microsoft’s Azure servers, or something related to Sea of Thieves matchmaking.
What I’d really appreciate help with:
Is there a way to identify the actual server IP and run a traceroute or WinMTR test to find where the latency increases?
Could this be caused by bad routing from Saudi Arabia to the Indian Sea of Thieves servers?
Has anyone in Saudi Arabia or the Middle East experienced something similar, and managed to fix it?
Is there a reliable way to test whether a VPN or routing service would actually help before paying for one?
I’m not looking for generic advice like restarting my router or changing DNS. I’ve already spent months trying to figure this out, and I’d really like to narrow down the actual cause.
If you have networking experience, I’d appreciate any diagnostic steps, commands, or results I should look for.

Clipping software wasn’t on so quickly grabbed my phone, a 3 minute long firework show just displayed while at an outpost as I spawned in… BEAUTIFUL!

Was watching some funny clips of people from different countries interacting with each other in game and I just thought it'd be quite cool to sail with our own country's flag. It would also cause a bit of chaos. Some alliances may get formed. Imagine a full British navy for example. Could also cause bring up some old rivalries (Spanish armada Vs British navy) etc.

Would also just be cool to roleplay a lot of the pirates of the time.

Anyone else like this idea? Perhaps not? Let me know why!

Have not played since late 2019. I have been playing for about a week. But I am having a hard time wrapping my head around all the new changes. Can anyone give me some helpful pointers?

I was playing some custom seas today seeing that the bug where obsidian skellies didn't spawn was fixed, but I noticed either I was unobservant or they really just weren't firing back against a skeleton sloop. They were roaming upper deck even when there were no holes in my Burning Blade. Did anyone else experience this?

The boat that got launched, was bit by an ancient meg right before idk if this is a common bug but buddy went flying and I would love to see how that looked from his POV lol

As title says. Just a new pirate seeking some info

Friend of mine is working on a pirate costume for her son and this is the candy bucket prototype (candy hole is hidden under the flap). Still figuring out a carrying strap but I think it came out pretty well.

I had been sat there for 5 minutes with my sails unable to be used. I got bored after 10 minutes and a few self made appointments to the ferryman to see if that would fix it.

So today is like my third day playing sea of thieves, and 2 times now I’ve had crew members sabotage us right after a fortress. I haven’t played much with random crews but yesterday we cleared a fortress and got attacked by another ship. We killed them and basically took their ship. When they respawned, my crew became friends with them and let them sink our ship. Then today I get on and join a random crew again, and this time we cleared the fort and as I’m taking the loot out of the room to grapple it to the ship one of my crew mates goes to the top of the fortress and sinks our ship with a cannon. As a new player it makes me feel some type of way about the game. Is this a normal thing that players do?

For the past week and a bit i have been trying to finish the tome of curses for the cutlass of the ashen dragon and have been doing the ruby falls method were you cannon off and reset captain. Anyway i was wondering 2 things 1. any method more efficient than this ? and 2. if you so happen to come across a curse of tome 5 than could you dm me an i add you to be there when you sell it ?

havent played in a little over a year. were there any cool updates? anything worth coming back for PVE wise if im already pirate legend?

We don't expect anyone to pack up and move if they're already invested in one. But if you're new, or looking for a place to track your Commendations, discover Cosmetics, or keep track of your recent progress, it might be a handy tool. It's something the community has asked us for since the game launched. There haven't been many guides to write as of late so we finally had time to work on it.

• Every Commendation shows the cosmetics it unlocks, and every cosmetic shows how to get it, with prices for most shop items.

• Almost There shows what you're closest to finishing. What's Left keeps Legacy and time-limited ones out of your way, and every Commendation says whether it needs High Seas.
• Compare Commendations with your crew, and see what's new in the shops.
• Share your profile, and your link shows a profile card in the preview, so your crew can see your progress without clicking. Convenient for Discord.

How it works: you log in on Microsoft's own page, then click one Progress Tracker bookmark on your seaofthieves.com Profile. It takes a couple of seconds, the bookmark never needs replacing, and it supports multiple pirates on one account. We keep your gamertag and progress, never your password, and nothing is shared unless you switch sharing on.

The Commendations, Grades, and Cosmetics are all crowd-sourced from everyone who imports. Only the game's own names, descriptions, and pictures are pooled, never anyone's progress. We've already built much of the library from the pirates who've stumbled upon it so far, and every import helps fill in the rest.

The Commendation Tracker piece also lives inside the interactive map if you are use to using that.
