Please include your location (US, Europe, etc) and combine multiple items into one comment to help keep this thread clean.
If you are looking for a particular plant/item: Post a comment below with the description of what you are looking for as well as what you are willing to exchange for it (another plant, money and how much, etc). You can ask for SASE/free stuff, but be realistic and do not beg! A good example would be "Does anyone have some extra D. capensis seeds. I am located in the US and willing to send a SASE".

Ping rock update - 1 year and 2 months
This setup has gone thru many phases, had to cut the ferns and restart tho not fully, also the moss which was vibrant really didn’t like northern Mexico summer and it all died haha. I will have to bring it back and have a plan for the summer so that doesn’t happen again. But it still has a bit of charm.

First flower on my ping razzberry blonde!
Picked it up at the SoCal carnivorous plant show a few months ago and it’s gotten big and finally flowered! Really love the frilly edges on it.

West Australian drosera
Honestly I thought they would be going into dormancy by now because they're outside in their native climate but since dropping their light exposure by a couple hours they've ditches the fluffy tops and started growing again, curious to see what happens when summer hits 😭

Spinosad for thrips, worked great.
Couple of months ago I posted about dealing with thrips and had some people say only systemics would work, which I would prefer not to use as I keep inverts as pets.
Well I’m happy to report that the thrips appear to have been eradicated with just spinosad and my pitchers are back to booming.

Stylidium Debile…aka the “trigger plant” … protocarnivorous and the fastest plant on the planet.
Well technically bladderworts are faster in its trapping mechanism but the physical armature on this plant is faster so… very excited to watch these grow and thrive =) Some fun facts. The “trigger” smacks pollinators with pollen… but can also smack them to receive pollen. They’re “protocarnivorous” as they aren’t always carnivorous during their seasonal cycle. Looking forward to seeing these fascinating flowers =) 🌺

I hit a lick at the the grocery store
I got these on markdown. They were $2.60 per pot. Every pot had two cuttings in it. I bought eight of them. This is after repotting.

Is my lamp too far from my plant?
It's a led 1500 lumen 13,5 watt 6500 kelvin light for my drosera capensis. The plant is in a pot of about 5 centimeters height and the lamp is about 40 centimeters above the plant. Is it too far? It pretty much lights up all the left side of my desk but i just want to be sure.

Question about dormancy.
Hello everyone, I have a shipment coming in on Monday from Cal Carn, originally I was planning on keeping them indoors and skipping dormancy, but I saw on one of their YouTube videos they will most likely be shipped cut down and ready for dormancy since it’s already in the 40’s in that area of Cali.
So my question is, is there anything I need to do to further prep them for dormancy, or do I just place them outdoors and let them do their own thing?
For reference, I’m in Texas, where the temp at night has just started dropping to the 60s and it’s still low 80s during the day.

My first setup. How did I do?
Made a huge mess of it after repotting.. just spend almost 45 minutes meticulously cleaning the dirt of the plants with a q-tip 😅 Never reported a plant in my life. Quite happy with the results 😍

What's wrong with my sundew 🥺
The background: i got them at a state fair, exactly in the setup now. About 3-4 weeks ago and the tips been turning brown while some are completely brown.
Current setup: i been using RO water at 8 ppm, less than 2 cups in the time I had them. I've been switching to distilled water. I got a feit 14w grow led desk light sitting about 12 inches, but currently sitting under an areogarden light, about 10 inches. At both lights i ran around 12 hours daily.
Im believing its the lights thats the issue, so im look for more for an affordable light source. (If you have any tips)
Additional information: They are in a glass vase, 6.5 inches diameter and they are sitting 4 inches from the base as the glass continues to 6 inches. Non drainage vase

Tipo for nepenthes st. Gaya
Any suggestions on what to do with my dying nepenthes st. Gaya? The temp where I live is about 85° and it's pretty humid. Could it be the heat or too much water? Thanks!

Carnivero ALWAYS Delivers
I’ve ordered over 30 nepenthes and some plants from them. Every single one has been packed with care, their customer service is legit the fastest I’ve ever had and ALWAYS gets back to you to trouble shoot or fix errors whenever i’ve reached out. Once I received the wrong plant and it was delivered within the week. I’ve asked for problems with seeds and they ENCOURAGE you to reach out for questions about plants or unknown abnormalities. They don’t just don’t sell plants they WANT you to succeed.
Heres 3 of the newest pitchers from them!

My pitcher plant has shriveled leaves
I have been away for 10 days and have had my dad taking care of my plants. My pitcher plant looked nice and healthy and was watered with distilled water on the day I left and I had him give her some water 4 days after. Today he showed me my plants and she looks terrible. I am going back home tomorrow but had him give her some more distilled water today (4 days after the last light watering). Will she be able to survive?

Guidance - First Nepenthes
Hihi! please give some guidance on care for my first Nepenthes. just picked this up at a local nursery and I have never had a nepenthes and feeling a little worried as I’m not experienced! I will take all advice and wisdom
I watered with distilled water twice since getting her, normally in a spot in my book shelf where there is bright indirect light

Sundew ID Request
Hello! I got these two (pygmy? maybe?) sundews for free and I have no idea what they are. I’m hoping someone can provide an ID, thank you!
