I went to a convention a few weeks back and saw official Playboy girls walking around. Thought Max would look cute in the outfit. Now I have this :)

Don't think this is particularly risque?? If it is required to put under the nsfw tag I will do so immediately.

Otherwise, enjoy! :D

So long story short, I'm a huge S&M fan (not that kind!) and I also live in Japan, where NOTHING from the franchise has ever been localized into Japanese. About the closest you can get is a fansub of episode 1 of the cartoon series.

...Which I made.

So anyway, I thought I'd try to promote the games too, since Japanese Team Fortress 2 fans recognize Max from "Max's Biting Hat" which is what "Max's Severed Head" was localized into Japanese as, for some reason. Maybe Skunkape can be convinced to add Japanese subtitles? I've subtitled the Save the World remastered trailer, which did pretty well, so I thought I'd do a scene from the game.

One scene that comes to mind is the one from episode 4 where Max tries to warm the crowd up with a joke, but lets fly with a dirty joke involving the pope and a candiru fish that gets heavily bleeped out.

But a YouTube video is only as good as its thumbnail, and I think I came up with a pretty good one here! I've taken this scene, but dressed it up to look like a Japanese news broadcast of the election where one of the candidates has been caught dropping a vulgar joke.

I think it turned out pretty well, hopefully what looks at first blush to be a clip from the news, but has a shark-toothed white rabbit in it, might get people to give it a second look!

Tried to draw Imp Max since its spooky month. Made two versions, one with normal eyes and one with "angry" eyes, as well as png versions of each. Does this version of Max have any official art outside of the table in Poker Night? Its a fun design, but I couldn't find much art of it.

I love this vampiric twink so much!!

I’ll make him some game accurate pants soon enough but for now he’ll just have to be waist bald 😞

I think they would be this Experimental Art Pop Group that is like a mix of Talking Heads,Bjork and One Republic

They give me that vibe

from order of most to least recent, these’ve been drawn over the course of the last 2-ish weeks

The most recent is pretty rough but I didn’t have access to the best utensils ;w; it was also one of my first attempts at experimenting with different levels of line density and light shading with these characters since I’m finally starting to get comfortable with their designs

I’d be really happy to hear what y’all think! I’m trying to get the best I can be at drawing Sam and Max, so far I think I’m improving at an okay rate but I’m still not quite where I want to be :-p

Thanks for reading! I’ll try to post more as I make them

Drew this for day 7 of cringetober, it looks kinda cursed lmao. Sam is an English lop and Max is a chihuahua (?) so their size difference still sorta makes sense.

On that note, photobashing for references saves lives.

Please let me know if this counts as low effort, but I'm working on a video playing the remastered Sam & Max games, and this is one of my favourite bits I've added so far XD (They keep talking over him)

Would love to hear what others you folks think I should make, I’ve been considering Abe and Sybil, but I know there are others who would be neat to add to my island

I’ll make a proper shirt for The Geek sometime later, for now I decided this was close enough

Also ignore the unfamiliar mii in a lot of these photos, shes my oc, shes Lornes daughter, she only really exists as an excuse for me to draw cute Sam and Max inspired outfits LOL

Tried to recreate Purcell's absolutely fantastic album artwork for the Devil's Playhouse OST. To absolutely no one's surprise, I wasn't able to even come close to capturing Purcell's fine attention to detail and posing, but it was fun for practice. I think this was also the first time I've drawn Sam.

It's easy to forget how demented he is as an antagonist because Hit the Road is way more lighthearted compared to the later entries, but looking at the things he does, he's actually lowkey quite possibly the most twisted antagonist in the series, and I'm gonna overanalyze the hell out of him right now.

First off, enslaving Bruno and Trixie and forcing them to play backup in his band, torturing them with electric shocks if they don't play their instruments to his standards... and then he just leaves them standing there, and if even one of them so much as grunts, they both get shocked. So they're apparently just being used as decorations, forced to stand in one place for the rest of their lives. And this is especially messed up when you consider that Trixie isn't even an animal, or a cryptid, or anything like that. She's a human woman with a deformity. Conroy even describes her as a 'giraffe necked freak' in his song, so he's definitely aware of this fact.

Then there's the animal heads that join in on his song in the last verse. They raise a lot of questions. They COULD just be animatronics, but many seem to believe these are actually the animals that he's acquired over the years. But they're all just heads mounted on the wall. So either they're still alive, completely unable to move and forced to accept their fate as Conroy's decorations... or he killed them, taxidermied them and repurposed their heads to be used as animatronics that sing his praises and bemoan the fate that befell them at his hands.

I'm a new Sam & Max fan. Couldn't resist making the rabbity thing

My magnum opus!
