Pretty sure it's a bit crack-y. I know Obi-Wan is a main character. Possibly CodyWan or other pairing. Pretty sure Palpatine bites it too also by some accident.

There was a character who i think left the jedi as an initiate or palawan. They end up starting a video blog series talking about the force and explaining it for everyone. With tutorials on things like meditation. The council is upset and sends Obi-Wan and Anakin to basically follow him and around and make he's not doing anything dangerous.

Are there any terms in Star Wars that are used to mean ‘nerd’/‘egghead’/intellectual (derogatory)? I can’t recall hearing any existing irl equivalents being used.

So, I’m slowing losing my mind because I’m trying to remember the name of this fanfic that (I think) is an Obi Wan time travel fic (probably). Where at some point in it (can’t remember if it’s a single fic or part of a series) Breha Organa is doing her (trials?) to become queen and climbs a mountain then makes a trade deal? With Mandalore. And I don’t know if I’m taking these individual elements from different fics and stitching them together because I’ve read so many that I might just think they're the same.

Hello everyone. I am writing an original SW story set during the Knights of the Old Republic era. I am looking for a contributor who can help me co-write this. I am currently working on a complete outline of the novel and would love someone who can help me with ideas. So far, I have outlined up to Chapter 4 and have written drafts for the first two chapters. I know where the story is going and how it will end. The title I have chosen is Knights of the Old Republic: Dominion. Here is the synopsis:

"A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away...

The Old Republic, once a fragile alliance of Core Worlds, now struggles to maintain peace as tensions rise with the Zygerrian Slave Empire. While the Senate clings to a delicate treaty, a faction of rogue senators secretly moves to expand Republic influence beyond the Inner Rim-risking open war.

On the divided world of Riosa, unrest threatens to ignite the first spark of conflict. As political divisions deepen and trust in the increasingly enigmatic Jedi Order is all but fractured, a far greater danger emerges as the mostly unexplored Outer Rim hides unforeseen evil."

So I was thinking about that one cut scene from the prequels that had Mon,Bail and Padme along with some randos talking about preserving the republic and how this scene kinda sets the groundwork for the rebels.
And I have always deeply deeply loved the political aspect of Star Wars and really wished we saw more in the movies and shows (Thank you Andor, you truly are peak).
So I was hoping someone may have recs focused on the three senators mentioned above plus senator Riyo Chuchi (Pantoran that helps the clones).
I also wouldn’t mind Oc characters or even canon characters that have been slapped into a senator position (I’m looking at you Obi-wan & Anakin [I do love the concept of Freed tatooine electing Non-Jedi Anakin as senator])
So yeah any interesting recs would be greatly appreciated!
P.S- Give the clones some rights, I love them more then any Jedi, mind you, Jaro Tapal was kinda cool

It’s been a while since I read it so despite the title it MIGHT be Jaster/Obi-Wan though I doubt it.

Anyway after Order 66, Obi-Wan is with baby Luke taking him to Tatooine, when he is transported to another world where I believe there are no Jedi or maybe the Jedi are different there. He is stranded on a planet in snow/blizzard weather and makes it to an inn/bar. There is a woman barkeep who helps him and notices that he has a huge soulmark that has appeared on his back. This women is a Mandalorian (or adjacent) and knows the mark belongs to Jango (the mandalore) and so she snitches to them. This eventually leads to a cat-and-mouse chase with Obi-Wan and Jango. I also remember Obi-Wan steals blizzard gear from the lady, leaves before she wakes up, and that he sells it when he gets to another planet which is how the Mandalorians are able to track him. I also think they get into a tussle at some point and don’t notice Luke wrapped onto him or maybe try to take Luke away during this fight.

It was definitely on Ao3 and I know I re-read it there in the last 18 months. The fic was so good but for some reason it’s missing from my bookmarks. I’ve tried so many tags at this point and it’s still alluding me! Any help will be appreciate immensely, thank you!!

So I was bored and decided to use the Google AI to create random fanfiction for personal reading only and I accidentally discovered my new favorite star wars fic concept. It's Obi-wan Kenobi self insert who accidentally convinces the Jedi he's a prophet or seer by singing rock and nu-metal songs in basic when he thinks he's alone and is unable to correct them because he keeps making more "prophecies". I don't even like Obi-wan SIs but now I've been reading new AI generated fics of this for almost sixteen hours and I can't stop bc of the dopamine loop it's causing. Just thought I'd share the happy fun vibes, gonna go crash soon after one more maybe three more kbye

TLDR: Should I include the Disney Canon, Legends or none when writing for “Star Wars”?

To make a long story short, I’ve been trying to make a multicrossover between “Star Wars” and two other properties. As it’s to be a miniseries, I’m trying to do a “prequel” to cover Luke and company’s adventures right after “Return Of The Jedi”. This includes Luke’s New Jedi Council with members being–
(1.) Leia Organa.
(2.) Charal The Nightsister (After A Redemption Arc).
(3.) Starkiller.
(4.) Cal Kestis.
(5.) Merrin Kestis.
(6.) Ezra Bridges.
(7.) Kam Solusar.
(8.) Tionne Solusar.

I even want to include a new spin on Palpatine’s family that included Triclops, Ken and even Rey. All while Ken is shown to be a student of Luke Skywalker along with the daughter of Cal and Merrin. Then there’s Han and Leia having more than one kid with Kaydel Ko Connix being one of them. Though, they wouldn’t get much focus, admittedly. 
Yet, there’s the dilemma. I want to do my own thing with “Star Wars”. I just want to focus on the OT, the Prequel trilogy, the “Ewok” films/shows, “Droids” and the 2-D “Clone Wars”. Not to mention, I’m planning on having Abeloth as the ultra antagonist. I even plan on Luke ending up in a crossover romance with someone who isn’t Mara Jade. And I can only do so much with my research on the books. Same for the Disney stuff. I can’t help but feel overwhelmed but what should I do? Should I drop the “Legends”/Disney characters? What would that mean for Abeloth and Luke’s jedi order?

I’ve come across so many stories where the protagonist ends up leaving the Jedi Order—running away, rebelling, and so on—but I don’t think I’ve found a single fanfic where the protagonist stays within the Order, or reforms it from the inside, or even just remains a part of it. I’m looking for something along those lines, but I haven’t been able to find anything.

Looking for fic recs where ether the entire earth or just someone from earth in the Star Wars galaxy any time will do though I would prefer the prequels

It was on AO3. It was an AU where Padme lived, but Luke and Leia we’re still separated and raised by Owen and Beru and Bail and Breha. I think it took place sometime after a new Hope, and the first chapter was Luke finding and talking to Padme. The story is basically about Padme getting closer to the twins, or to Luke actually because I remember she actually lived on Alderaan and watched Leia grow up so they already knew each other, she just didn’t know Padme was her biological mother. And I remember one chapter where Padme revealed to Luke that Vader was her husband, and he and Leia originally think that the two of them had a child that didn’t make it, but then they slowly start to piece together that one of them could be her children (before figuring out that both of them are lol 😂) and I remember at some point Padme gets captured by the empire and Vader briefly interrogates her and it turns into this small awkward moment between them.

I’ve been working on a piece of fiction for a good long while that falls within a bit of a niche even within star wars. I know that naturally my audience is limited, and I know very few people irl that would have any interest in this. Solicitation is generally frowned upon, with good reason, but it also makes it difficult to get things seen.

So what do people do to find readers?

Since LadyDae deleted her amazing Dark Ahsoka series years ago to rewrite it, it unfortunately became lost media. I managed to save copies of the original works (Descending in Love, etc.) back then for my private archive. If you are an old fan looking for a copy for personal reading, feel free to shoot me a DM! I won't re-upload them publicly out of respect for the author, but I'm happy to share them privately.
