I’m currently watching s13 e8 and Rollins makes me so fucking mad. Just because in this episode they deal with psych ward patients, she dismisses everything they say. The guy who was hallucinating at the start? Nope he’s just a druggie because she knows everything. The even potential thought of gia being rapes? Nah even if something comes up on the rape kit it has to be from consensual sex with another patient according to Rollins the smartest person in the world. I haven’t watched a lot of her episodes but damn this got me heated

In a hypothetical episode let’s have Rafael Barba return to free Victor Tate to provide a massive, emotionally charged resolution to one of the most frustrating cliffhangers in the show's history. Let have him rip both the DA office and NYPD(Stabler in particular) a new one on how they handled the case. Have Tate’s mother approach Barba to help exonerate her son Have the legal strategy be him attacking the original legal technicality that blocked the true confession, arguing that keeping Tate imprisoned violates his constitutional right to due process.

Rollins has finally put a picture on her desk but sadly it’s a very old one!

This is the same picture she had as phone screen when Bucci was smashing her phone 8 years ago.

A recent picture with Nicky would be better but in this soulless Michele Fazekas seasons the bar is low.

So even a very old pic is better than nothing.

TO BE CLEAR I LOVE ICE-T IN THIS SHOW. HE'S REALLY FUNNY I JUST THINK IT'S SILLY HE ALWAYS DOES THIS

Been watching on and off for quite some time, and I swear every other scene with Ice-T is him going off at ANY suspect they find, with barely any rage directed towards the actual guilty party. He's using up his rage meter on everybody except the actual perp. 😂

"What were you doing yesterday morning?"

"I was eating sausage at home"

"WAS THAT BEFORE OR AFTER YOU STRUNG UP THAT CHILD BY HER ORGANS?!"

Is this an actual tactic police use? Just blatantly accuse every suspect of doing the crime? Cause half of these people would likely wall themselves off and lawyer up, right?

I can't think of anything else that the fans been waiting on for years other than for eo to happen.. so it might be a possibility this time for sure.

Barba, I love you the most. And now I’m in the episodes with the sad baby story, and Raul Esparza is KILLING me. Oof.

I didn’t watch last season as it aired (27) so I started watching it via Hulu this past week… Why they just write him out of the show? Anyone know?

UPDATE: maybe I should have been more clearer in my question. I’m aware Cragen retired from the show in the 10’s. But, opening season 27 with a memorial to him, was kind of jarring and weird. Like, “what did I miss?”

Me personally would like to see Hunter Mazelon (S12E23) make a return. He kind of reminds me of Henry Mesoner who got more of a story line later on.

I’m rewatching and I’m currently on season 8 episode 22 Screwed (season finale) and oh my god the writers today could never write an episode like this and it’s such a shame.

The ideas are there and I’ve seen glimpses of good writing but the way the old seasons were able to tell 7 stories in one episode and tie up lose ends from old seasons is truly something that needs to be brought back to make this show good again.

The writing has been so bad it’s honestly boring.

To preface this I haven’t watch the new season episode yet.

And Derek Poole looks exactly like Charles Grodin. It's actually bugging me for some reason lol. I tried to look up if that was his son but couldn't find anything.

Went to work and my colleague said they were setting up L&O SVU trailers to shoot near one of the streets by my office! I’ve seen other shoots, of course around NYC area, but not for one of my favorite shows! I really hoped to see Ice T or Mariska, but to no such avail. I did see some DPs and caught a glimpses of their badges with SVU printed on them. It was exciting to go check out the scene during my breaks! I love New York.
