Looking for advice Henderson in Saint Petersburg delivered the wrong suit for my wedding, finished the correct tuxedo 15 days later, and now refuses to release it.

I want to share my experience with Henderson at Europolis Mall in Saint Petersburg and hear what other people think I should do.

On June 17, 2026, I ordered a custom tuxedo worth 130,000 RUB for my wedding on September 30.
On August 4, the store gave me a regular classic suit instead of the tuxedo I had ordered. When it became clear that I might have to attend my own wedding without the correct outfit, Henderson offered me a 40% discount. This discount was offered later, after the problem became apparent, not when I originally placed the order.

I then spent another 30,000 RUB trying to have the incorrect suit altered at an atelier to resemble a tuxedo. The result was unsatisfactory, and I did not wear it at my wedding. I had to rent another tuxedo instead.

Throughout September, I repeatedly contacted the store for updates. I received inaccurate information about delivery dates and contradictory explanations about where my tuxedo was. At one point, the Saint Petersburg store said it was in the city, while the Moscow office told me shortly afterward that it was still in Yerevan.

The correct tuxedo was finally ready on October 15, fifteen days after my wedding. (15 days after my wedding, couple of months after the agreed deadline in the contract)

On October 21, I tried to return the original suit. Henderson refused because it had been altered. At the same time, the company is refusing to hand over the correctly manufactured tuxedo.

So I have spent money trying to fix their mistake, paid to rent another suit for the wedding, and still cannot get the item I originally ordered.

I have contacted Henderson formally and requested the correct tuxedo, an explanation of its position, and compensation for my documented expenses.

My question for people familiar with consumer disputes in Russia: What is the most effective next step? Should I file a complaint with Rospotrebnadzor, consult a consumer-rights lawyer, or pursue another route?
I have documentation of the order, communications, and expenses. I’m interested in practical advice from people who have dealt with similar situations in Saint Petersburg.

Studiying & Living I haven't met any new people outside of work for 3 years already. What to do?

Ever since I (27M) moved here in 2023, the only company I've had is colleagues from the places I worked, and maybe their friends. At least I got to meet my ex-girlfriend this way, through a friend from work, but we split up a few months ago and it's gotten really lonely since then.

I'm Russian but grew up in other countries, so my English is better - not that my Russian is really bad, just worse)
Anyway, I am really tired of feeling alone and need more good people in my life. If you have any suggestion or just want to talk, feel free.
