Admissions Help/Advice

I think I am leaning towards SMU as my top school.
I applied Early Action in mid-August, but at the time, I wasn’t sure my family could afford it, and it wasn’t my first choice yet.

But now, my parents have become more supportive of me attending if I’m admitted to Cox, and I honestly wish I had applied Early Decision instead to better my chances. I have also got into NHS and became president of a club after I applied.

Is there any way to switch from Early Action to Early Decision after already submitting my application and would it be worth it if I ended up doing that?

I’m also looking for advice on admissions and anything else I can do to help my chances of getting into Cox.

I’ve emailed my admissions counselor a few times, but she hasn’t responded, and our scheduled Zoom call was canceled. Does anyone have advice on how to get in touch with her or know someone else at SMU who might be able to help?

Ik I won’t hear till December but is where I can genuinely see myself going, and I’m trying to do everything I can at this point. Thanks!

I posted awhile ago, but in case you were wondering
I have 3.75 Weighted and will go in with 24 credit hours assuming all of my dual enrollment transfers.

I have a 24 on the ACT but applied test optional
but have good extra curriculars and volunteer.

Ik my stats are on the lower side for cox but I would appreciate any advice.
