I'm looking for a friendly, close-knit group of people who play SCUM, or perhaps some like-minded people who'd be interested in starting one together!
I'm not just looking for a squad to play with — I'm looking for a group of friends.
I'd love to be part of a community where people genuinely enjoy each other's company, regularly chat, joke around, share memes, hang out in voice chat and, of course, play SCUM together!
I love both the game and the social side of gaming, and I'd really like to bring those two things together. It would be lovely to have a group where we share our adventures, talk about the game, occasionally do things outside of SCUM and generally enjoy spending time together.
Of course, I know friendships can't be forced and take time to develop. But I also believe they need people who are genuinely interested in getting to know each other. So I'm hoping to find either an existing group of friends who'd welcome someone new or people who are looking for the same sense of community and connection.
A little about me and my playstyle:
- PvE only. I'm not interested in PvP.
- Casual gameplay. I'm not a fan of hardcore settings. I play to relax, unwind and enjoy myself rather than constantly struggle to survive.
- Real life comes first. I have a busy schedule, so I can't play every day or commit to a fixed number of hours. I'd love to find a laid-back group where everyone can join in whenever they have time, without feeling pressured to be constantly active. But even when I can't play, I'd still love to hang out in Discord, chat and stay involved in the community.
- Time zone: UTC+4. I'm sometimes available on weekdays from 09:00–11:00 UTC or 19:00–20:00 UTC. On weekends, I'm more flexible and can usually play between 09:00 and 17:00 UTC. So I imagine European players would be the best fit!
- My ideal playstyle: I love having my own little house, garden and car. I'd much rather live in a neighbourhood where everyone has their own place than in one big shared base. That said, I absolutely enjoy helping each other out, sharing resources and working on community projects together! I've always loved the idea of building a little village in SCUM, where everyone has their own home and possessions, but we still help each other out, go on adventures together and feel like neighbours. I'd also love to have a bit of a social life in the game itself — hanging out around a campfire, visiting each other's houses, chatting and just enjoying each other's company without necessarily having anything to do.
I also have a little village project in mind, and four other people have already expressed interest in joining! We're still at the very beginning, though, so it's not an established group of friends — we're hoping to get to know each other and build something together. If that sounds like your kind of thing, you'd be very welcome to join us! But there's absolutely no pressure to join this particular project. I'm just as happy to start a new group from scratch or join an existing one. What matters most to me is finding the right people!
Ultimately, I'm looking for more than just people to team up with occasionally. I'd love to find a little community that feels like a place to belong — somewhere we can share our passion for SCUM, have fun together and hopefully become genuine friends along the way.
